I don't think you're being called a noob, I think the point is that the op is already underway (though stalled) so it's a little late to join in. That's what happens regularly here, from what I've seen - ops close once they begin. Like a London Underground carriage or a rollercoaster ride

Engaging in a detailed self-dialogue between two or more of your own characters can set the demeanor and intentions of your characters in a streamlined manner, too much dialogue in-verbatim can create a text-wall-of-death.
-Also, military operation, noise-discipline.

This gains importance if readers/writers happen to be half-awake and short on time. Typoes or any bit of vagueness can utterly ruin it with ease.

I'm occasionally guilty of doing inner-dialogue and somehow completely skipping an entire paragraph worth of thought-processes in a post.

Yeah I had already talked to Emmerian about why I wasn't doing that op so they know why I wasn't posting. Aside from that I think mainly I may have just wanted to spark up a conversation on this RP.

Anyhow, we're gonna pass through that place where all the militia are shooting at us. Feel free to take shots at the radio guy/nail him if you see fit. Unless you want to fight their reinforcements, or kill him to move on. I wouldn't put it above Hurt's guys to get him first, better hurry!

So the hurricane idea, also, is really tough to pull off as a matter of fact. It may be impossible for us to realistically move up once the storm hits, what are our options?

Any contact with locals must be presumed as either hostile, or at the very least a significant obstacle to completing our objective.

Our object, BTW, for those who have forgotten, is to prevent our homes from becoming irradiated crater-lands at the hands of some silly-heads.
-The fact they are silly-thinking enough to think they even have a chance is more than plenty justification for anything I can think of.
