As Traigo and his men walked inland, the could hear the faint vibrations of magic in use. "Hold it!" hissed Traigo as he lifted his hands to signal for his men to halt. Traigo placed his bar palm on the moist soil below and took a deep breath in, and could feel the vibrations of the magic becoming clearer. "What is it Trai?" asked one of his close friends, Lucius, who was the exact opposite of him in every way, but just as dangerous. "There is enemy magic up ahead. I do not know whether it is offensive of defensive magic, but we'll soon find out." said Traigo as he stood back up from a kneeling stance as his hands were clenched and covered with icy spikes. "Move on with caution," said Traigo as he walked back to his men. "There is bound to be an ambush ahead, so stick together."

Sorry about the inactivity, sort of busy lately what with my imminent moving to Germany

The two VTOLs dove towards the airbase, descending onto the track within five minutes.
Both of the back hatches swung open, forming ramps onto the track. Two soldiers bearing Skyheld insignia stood on the end of each ramp as the IPSM troops quickly moved out of the VTOL's. The group quickly moved across the strip and into the base, followed by two men in suits and the Lord Lieutenant. The Skyheld soldiers re-entered the VTOL's, shutting the hatches and powering the engines down.

Ladun Military Base, Alahana
Ovchak saluted Lieutenant Ertor and shook his hand, the two suited gentlemen remaining silent and eerily still behind him.
''I am glad we can help you. This is the finest Psionic regiment in the Vsenyslavian army. Imperial Psionic Shock Marines A-One-One. The boys can whisk up a Soulstorm that would make Perun weep tears of joy. And probably already has. These two gentlemen here are here on behalf of the Skyheld Alliance, they are here to make sure the Shanghai Convention is abided, and unfortunately we can't get rid of them.''

Each Marine was wearing a standard green-teal-white marine camo with the Vsenyslavian Ensign on the upper arm and the Coat of Arms on the shoulders.
They all had one of their eyes replaced with a bionic one, used as an implant to help focus the Psionic energy without intensive meditation.
All are otherwise equipped with a standard Railgun and deployable sonic (energy absorption, dispersion and collection) shield.

The free cities and the Tarusian Union have asked our forces to hold the attack to search for a peacefull solution, but Admiral Kelim is still allowed to put our troops and those of allies in position to attack, should peace not be an option. Once we get the order of attack we will storm the city at full strenght." Lieutenant Ertor said to the Lord Lieutenant

News of the ongoing conflict spread quickly among the Peyian government, and leader Eric Coleman has finally decided to take action.

"Pey will do anything in its power to help a allied nation" Coleman said in a press conference last night. "We hope our forces will be up to the challenge."

Today, in the Free cities conference room the negotiations started.
Delegates from Alahana and its allies and the free cities were present to discuss this situation.

When the delegates walked outside, with the Jadun delegate yelling "Let the war continue!" before he stepped in his car.

The negotiations have failed, and the allied delegates announced that this conflict had to be resolved as quick as possible. But because all options were depleted, the allied armies were forces to use violence to stop the plans of Jadun.

Alahana just started moving in the sub-urban areas of the city of Jadun, finding none to few resistance.

The troops of Alahana stormed the first line of defence of the city, consisting out of a series of bunkers, anti-aircraft guns and minefields.
The perfect moment to test some new weaponry i an actual battlefield. One of these weapons are anti-mine bombs, bombs that are dropped from a certain height and will explode in mid-air, making small magnetic balls fall at enormous speeds on the mines, making them explode. This tactics seemed to be very effective, the bombs neutralized more than 95% of the mines. The troops were able to take the first line of defence with no magic encounter.
It has been a while since the last encounter with shadow mages happened, and the commanders are starting to expect surprises...
