"That's when we liberated Chyorgig from the YPLA two years ago. Now they've almost taken it back from the Nationalists."



Aleksei's expression was far-off and annoyed when he handed the picture to Sara. It was a tank that had appeared to have been destroyed. "Nationalist MBT-71. We used to use those up until '95. We gave a lot of them to Yvek. Happened three weeks ago. They were dead before they realized it. IED. Ripped through the belly of the tank and its crew. We almost had to pour them out of there...."

The sleek, shiny Olive green Turmenistan olive green tank (above) drove down the road slowly. It's futuristic look stood out from the war-torn environment around it. Everyone once and a while, it would run over a charred body, causing dust to kick up from the ground. It's turret swiftly swiveled to the side, aiming at a building.

It was locked onto something. The FGM-148 Javelin rocket was already in the air, preparing to attack from above. It slammed onto the top of the tank-

Chervyshkan MBT-88's patrolled outside the base, while uniformed Chervyshkans and Yvek Nationalists patrolled inside. "Welcome to Lightning."

"I never thought that our artillery would be exported so far. Just from my personal curiosity, are you satisfied with that choice? Part of my colleagues are still unconvinced if older NIKA guns

aren't actually still more powerful."
To questioning expression, he answered:
"I served in artillery unit briefly when I was teen. Heart thing."

"Yeah, That's a HANA," responded Aleksei. "I mean, it's a fairly decent weapon system, but Our Crews tend to prefer the SPG-6 that we make. The HANA is faster, but our SPG's are slightly more armored -at the cost of speed, of course- and can lob a shell a little bit further. Don't get me wrong, the HANA packs a hell of a punch, but we tend to use that more like a Mobile Gun System, instead of a Self-Propelled Gun. I 'unno. Our Crews like 'em big and tough."

"Well, I am not cruel man, but sometimes, discipline demands cruelty. Paint all rocks around camp to white , paint all dead grass to green. Or clean all toilets by toothbrush. Or find every acorn in forest. Or find all cigarette butts around barracks. Or my favorite, catch the eagle. Just be creative."
He kept thinking.
"But don't worry, in most of the times, they didn't must accomplish these missions."

Once they did, he led them all to a very ordinary looking building on the base. Inside, there were just enough chairs for the task force. He pointed to the chairs and said, "Take a seat so we can get this started." He went up and stood in the front of the room after locking the door, and turned on the projector and awaited for everyone to sit down.

Elijah sat in one of the chairs, yawning. His MARS Assault rifle cluttered to the ground by him.

Czechians took their bags and weapons inside, sitting as near as possible to screen.

Kim follow Aleksei and take a seat. When everyone sit down, Kim says "I am sorry, I can not tell you much about the Association or my other missions. But about myself, I can, and it's a long story. I will tell you later, let's just focus on the task at hand for now." Then she quickly open one fo the big pocket of her suitcase and take out a bundle of parts. Kim unwarp the bundle which were taped with duct tape, and quickly assemple her bolt action sniper rifle with scope. It's a modified M24 Sniper Rifle with scope, Kim packed 2 boxes of ammo for the .338 Lapua Magnum, 30 bullets in each box. When finished with the assemply, Kim search her suitcase and take out a rather "big" (long) silencer, it's one of 2 silencers she packed, one big and one small. Kim then attach the silencer to the M24 scope rifle. Kim search her suitcase again and take out another travel waist pocket and strap it on, position it on her right hip (the other is on her left hip).

Jonah sat down in his chair and propped his HK next to him against the table. He took out his Bowie knife and started sharpening it on a rock he found outside.
He frowns as he looks up and says, "Why are we still waiting. I mean are we finally going to get to learn the objective of this mission or is this going to be some bureaucratic *expletive deleted*?"
After saying that he hoists his duffel bag up and makes sure that he his pistol is loaded before putting it into his holster, and then he swings his HK onto his back and sits up waiting for the meeting to begin.
