It is a sad day when the will of the people is thrown out in order for tyranny to take hold. When the ChiChi Empire decided that it was time to ask for assistance from Foreign Entities to better stabilize their nation, their Citizens rejoiced that someone would help to stop the infighting within their nation. it was a great day when The Armed Republic of Paddy O Fernature sent word to my office asking for my assistance in helping to stabilize this war torn nation.
Then sadness struck in the form of a Coup within the Region of Sauvania. When a nation claiming that he was for the betterment of the region turned around and backstabbed one of his supposed "closest allies" and forced him to turn over control of the region. This is a sad day indeed. Nations rallied to this traitor's side and when the time came, they then began to declare war upon the Regional Founder due to their own arrogance. The Empire has seen enough. The end of tyranny shall come by the sword of Justice and the Empire will be the one helping to swing that sword right down the throats of those that deserve it.
By Parliamentary Decree #19-EM05, passed through both houses with a Unanimous vote of yes and signed by myself, a State of War now exists between the Shazbotdom Empire and those nations that have rallied against the ChiChi Empire. May whatever God you believe in, have mercy upon your souls.

For several days now, the Dominion of POF has given the belligerent nations operating withing and against ChiChi every opportunity to peacefully withdraw themselves from conflict, and walk a different path. Now with ChiChi firmly and fully annexed by myself, Shazbotdom, and Ganos Lao, it is more imperative then ever that further distractions forced upon us by foreign nations not be allowed to take hold and even further delay the inevitable process of demobilization and subjugation of ChiChi by coalition forces.

As such, by Presidential Decree and supported by popular majority, The Dominion finds itself in a state of WAR with those nations that have rallied against ChiChi, and will firmly stand by our friends and allies in this coming conflict.

I look forward to seeing your cities burning, and the will of your populace broken from this coming conflict. You had your chance to end this peacefully, now suffer the consequences of your failure.

SCENE: ISS Anthony T. Crostani, Feathermoon-class Super Dreadnaught, 10th HAVOC Naval Battlegroup

The seas were calm and the fleet was set at full sail. Waves broke against the sides of the ships as they glided along the vast ocean towards the Region of Sauvania in a state of full battle preparedness. Their primary target has not been set yet by Imperial Naval Command but the only nation that has officially declared war against the Imperial Protectorate of ChiChi Empire is The GOG Military State of Drucezchski. Now, that nation would be one of many targets of the Empire for this conflict. The main guns of the ships were swiveling around to ensure that they were well lubricated during the time that the ship spent in dry dock and false fire testing has been done every hour on the hour.
Aircraft were seen taking off and landing constantly on the carriers to ensure that the catch cables and catapults were in full operating order while the missile defense systems were undergoing false fire operations to ensure that the electronics were fully active so they would be ready in case any enemy aircraft comes to bear on the fleet. The Anti-Aircraft Destroyers were also testing their electronics to ensure that they were prepared for incoming enemy aircraft while the Guided Missile Destroyers were testing their equipment to ensure that they would be able to fire their cruise missiles and non-nuclear SRBM's on shoreline and interior targets within whatever nation that they were going to attack.
It was a sight that one does not want to see, either in person or via Sattelite video, was a fleet of One Hundred and fifty Three Naval Vessels from any nation sailing through the water towards their nation or region. The flags of war were set, and it would be a hot day in Sauvania when the fleet got there. It would be exceptionally hot.

Dominion Command

With the frontier now firmly annexed and under control, and the last of the riots stamped out, attention could now be properly spent on removing further thorns from the side of the Dominion and her allies. Directly to the south of the ChiChi nation, and sharing a common landmass, was the nation of A War Lord. For some time now, this nations leaders have been actively digging themselves a hole for which to bury themselves twice over, by making aggressive statements towards those it shouldn't have and ignoring the Dominions gracious ultimatums. Now, they were going to find out the hard way the error of their ways.

Newly arrived in theater, was General Edward Stern, supreme commander of the Dominions armed forces. With one army group already fully deployed in ChiChi, and two more already arriving in it, Stern felt that it was time that he personally assumed command of the current state of affairs in ChiChi.

Sitting in the command seat of his JLTV as it attempted to drive down a road clogged with Dominion troops and logistics, Stern attempted to enjoy his cup of coffee from his standard issue titanium officers mess cup. However, he was finding it difficult as suddenly his vehicle changed lanes abruptly to bypass a convoy of flatbeds carrying Mantis systems. He glanced sideways at the young LT driving him around, who just nodded a quick apology and continued on his way.

After a few more miles of dogging in and out of traffic, the JLTV finally reached it's intended destination and pulled to a stop in front of a concrete building recently occupied by the Dominion from the local ChiChi Garrison. As he left the vehicle and quickly walked up the sidewalk toward the building, a platoon sized element of local national forces was ordered to attention by the Dominion NCOIC instructing them, who then saluted Stern as he passed by and entered the building.

Deep inside the building, Stern eventually found himself to a situation room. Despite equipment still being installed for future use, it was currently operational and already reports were coming in from all sectors and branches currently deployed by the Dominion and her allies. Picking up a data pad sitting on his field desk, Stern scanned through several messages exchanged by Shazbotdom and POF leadership, and laughed to himself at the current topic of discussion.

On a more serious note, the plans being discussed by those in a higher pay grade then himself, did dictate that a change in plans would have to take place as forces would need to be reallocated to support his allies. As such, he ordered the 32nd Bomber wing to redeploy from former GEIJD to ChiChi immediately, in anticipation of coming wartime needs. It would be at least a day before they arrived and were refueled and rested, but if needed, they would be worth the wait.

Once he was finished with that bit of business, he then ordered the commencement of drone flights along the southern Chichi/AWL border starting within the hour. The drones high powered lenses would get a pretty good view of what might be awaiting his forces on a possible southern incursion should that route be chosen at a later time. AWAC assisted CAP's where also ordered to be flown along the border, starting immediately and until further notice.

The great man then sat down behind his field desk, and ordered one of his junior officers to fetch him a fresh cup of coffee from wherever he could. There was much planning to do, and many logistical considerations to consider, and the damned reports were not going to finish themselves.

It was going to be a long day for him.

The sound was deafening, something that made you cringe when you heard it happen all at once. Within a fifteen second time frame Forty aircraft had taken to the air from the various carriers. Flight groups of AC-01cg Pelicans were in the process of bringing Marines to the shore to the joint FOB of the coalition forces. Flying low to avoid detection from the forces of The GOG Military State of Drucezchski as well as The Imperial Fascist Kingdom of A War Lord. Within the rear of each were 10 Marines, armed and ready for combat, with the exception of two Pelicans who had one extra marine crammed into it to ensure that the whole 67 Fire Teams that were dispatched were not short men. Marine Air Corps personnel were manning the weapons of the Gunship Pelican, watching for enemy aircraft. The fleet was still 2 hours away from the coastline but these men and women of the Marine Corps were being sent in to scout out the FOB for locations where the rest of the Marines would set up their camp.

SCENE: Pelican Flight Group inbound to ChiChi Empire

"This is Pelican Flight Group Sierra 117 to Dominion Air Traffic Control, we are approaching on a vector of Three Three Four mark Two One Three," the pilot of the lead Pelican stated. "Requesting landing at coordinates Alpha Three Five mark Nine Two One. Contingent of 402 Marines are on deck in the flight group to scout out housing locations for our Marines. Over?"

SCENE: Meanwhile, back at the 10th HAVOC Naval Battlegroup

The ships were beginning their slowdown as they approached the ChiChi Empire. The transport craft began their towards the docks to unload the remainder of the marines, although they were still 2 hours away, they laid in their course and the fleet followed in their defensive positions. The Admiral looked out over the fleet from the bridge of the Super Dreadnought. The door on the opposite end of the bridge was heard opening as the man tasked with setting up the Empire's portion of the FOB made his way through the bridge, strolling with confidence through the bridge, he walked right up to the Admiral and stood right next to him.

"Admiral," he stated in the stern voice of a man who had worked his way up through the ranks. His face was that of a war hero, a scar lined his right cheek from back near his ear all the way down to the tip of his chin. The face of General Gregory T. Patton was well known in the ranks of the Marine Corps. "How far out are we?"

"General," The admiral replied. The two men knew each other all too well, tasked with this, their Tenth tour of duty together, they knew that this was going to be something of legend back home when all was said and done. "We expect arrival at anchoring positions in roughly Eight Two Minutes, then the ships with the rest of your forces will be landing at the docks specified for unloading.

The General knew all too well that this would be a fight to the finish. He knew that he might have to call for reinforcements as he decided when he left the Empire on this little party trip that he would only take an eight of the 10th Company of Marines, which comes to Twelve Divisions and only about 288,000 Marines. "The lead Pelican reports that they are on final approach to the mainland and expecting authorization shortly for landing. When our main forces reach the shoreline, we will depart the convoys of vehicles in shifts, giving about a 3 mile gap between each convoy," he stated rather bluntly. "I expect that all the convoy's should be at the the FOB within 12 hours of our landing. I'll be on the first convoy so I can make contact with their commander in the field to discuss tactics."

"I wish you nothing but luck, my friend," the Admiral stated. "We will provide cover when we can."

"Thank you," the General Replied.

Dominion Control Tower

The small room sitting high in the air was stuffy on this windless afternoon, as the extra heat generated from the numerous electrical system running slowly built up, adding to the already warm ambient temperature outside.

One of the three forward air controllers on shift that day, paced back and forth in front of a cracked window, hoping for even the slightest of breezes to pick up and offer some relief. In his right hand, he held a PTT switch for his headset, which allowed him instant communication with any and all air traffic on his net.

"This is Pelican Flight Group Sierra 117 to Dominion Air Traffic Control, we are approaching on a vector of Three Three Four mark Two One Three," the pilot of the lead Pelican stated. "Requesting landing at coordinates Alpha Three Five mark Nine Two One. Contingent of 402 Marines are on deck in the flight group to scout out housing locations for our Marines. Over?"

"Flight Group Sierra 117, Dominion Air Traffic Control, you are cleared on final." he said as he walked over to his terminal and double checked to make sure that the ADA system was registering the flight as friendly. "Welcome to the frontier. Dominion Air Traffic Control out."

SCENE: Pelican Flight Group inbound to ChiChi Empire

"Roger that Dominion Air Traffic Control, Sierra 117 on final approach," the pilot of the lead Pelican responded. He then switched to a frequency that was being used by the rest of the flight group. "This is Flight Lead, we have been cleared for landing. Follow the flight plan," he stated. With that the flight group banked slightly to the right to conform with the flight plan specified and began it's final approach to the Forward Operating Base air strip.

25 Minutes later...

As the flight group approached the FOB Air Strip, they slowed their thrust down, taking turns landing so that there wasn't too much air wash that might cause some of the Pelicans to destabilize on it's landing sequence, it took about 10 minutes for the entire Flight Group to land safely. The marines disembarked from the Pelicans and began a march. Groups broke off every once in a while near the camp to look for acceptable spots for the rest of the marines that would be here within the next day while one lone Fire Team kept walking through the camp. The leader of that Fire Team approached a Dominion soldier. "Soldier, could you point me in the direction of the leader of your forces here?"

The private, who was busy inventorying a shipment of Class III motorpool supplies, wiped his oily hand on a rag as the unknown uniformed man addressed him.

"I Corp headquarters is currently housing in that structure over there." He said as he lifted a finger to point down the way toward a large structure a short distance away. "The man you would be looking for is General Stern, and you more then likely will find him in or around the situation room this time of day."

Behind them, an empty 6x6 pulled up to the stockpile and was put into park by it's driver, as he gathered up his requisition forms scattered about the cab.

"Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?" asked the private.

SCENE: Pelican Flight Group inbound to ChiChi Empire

"That will be all, son" he replied. "Thank you for your help." Him and his fire team then began walking towards the building in the distance. They kept walking for what seemed like an eternity until they were standing outside the building. Opening the door, they left their weapons just inside the door so that they didn't look threatening as they walked through the building. Looking at the name plaques on the doors, they found the one that said 'Situation Room' and gently rapped at the door.

A young lieutenant who happened to be standing near the door heard the knocking, and opened it. He was a little surprised to see the group of men standing in the hallway before him, as the Dominion wasn't expecting visitors so soon.

"May I help you lads with something?" he asked in a polite tone.

"Let them in Mabe, don't be a rude host." came a slightly monotone voice from behind the LT from somewhere in the room behind.

"Sorry Sir, just that I wasn't aware of any visitors..." stumbled the LT before being cut off mid sentence as the door was fully opened, revealing a slightly greying man, wearing a traditional officers field uniform and holding a cup of coffee.

"You lads must be from that Shazbotdom flight that arrived a short time ago." he said as he gave the men a quick once over. "Names Stern, and I believe I'm the man you have been sent to find. Please, do come in, my office is in the back here."

After a short walk through the situation room, they were lead to a segregated area in the back of the room, where General Stern sat behind a report strewn field desk and made himself at home.

"Now, what can I help you lads with?" he asked as water and coffee was offered to the men by another junior officer gopher.

"Corporal Timmothy K. Hern, sir," the Fire Team Commander saluted. "Were basically here to see about setting up our encampment, where the best possible location is to be." He looked around. "I also have personal orders from General Patton to see if he couldn't set up his office within this building, or in a building that is close by enough that the trade of information between our two armed forces will be swift and decisive."

Stern paused for a moment, as he shuffled around his desk for the latest plan plot plan for the immediate area. Finding it, he unfolded the parchment across his desktop and studied it for a few moments.

"There is a area behind the hangers on the southern end of the airfield, where a row of barracks used for the former ChiChi garrison still stand. They could use a little TLC, but they are a long shot better then sleeping in a hole somewhere under the stars. We will make sure they are plumbed into the local logistical system, and ensure you have power and potable water as soon as it's available, hopefully within the next 24 hours."

"Now, as for setting up a HQ here, I'm sure we can squeeze you in somewhere. I will have my aid clear out an area for you lads in an adjacent room, and have it available by tomorrow morning." he said and smiled.

Corporal Hern listened to the General as he spoke. Following him as he talked and looking at the map. After the General was finished he spoke up, "That sounds good to me and I'll pass along that information to my General as soon as I can." He then looked over the map again, especially at the hanger area's and pointed to that section of the map. With a slightly inquisitive voice he asked, "Is there enough space in some of these hangers to move some aircraft of varying types from our fleet here? I'm fairly sure that the General would like the ability to have our aircraft ready and able to bomb enemy locations as quickly as possible with them traveling as short of a distance as possible and not wasting fuel coming from the carriers all the way to the mainland."

"We can spare a few of those hangers for your aircraft to use Corporal, however I have a long range bomber flight coming in this afternoon that will need to utilize the rest of those hangers for the foreseeable future." he said as he pointed to a few of the buildings on his map.

"Now, I'm unsure if you lads are aware of this, but there is a deep water commercial port about 40 miles from here on the coast of this island that I am in the process of... procuring from the local government. If your fleet tenders need a staging area to run supply runs out of to your fleets, this is the closest thing we have available in the area."
