Shortly after hearing of the actions of the military in Sweden that day, the parliament of United Martians warned that if they did not return power to a non-military force, with democratic elections, then heavy sanctions would follow
In a press conference on the matter, Emperor Jordan Ruby stated "The actions of the military may be the democracy that the people of Sweden deserve. If General Kaygriliostov follows the right course, then the people of Sweden will flourish. However, we must be sure he does not take this power for his own gain. If he does, we will be forced take action.
Rumour also said that the 3rd Legion of the United Martians Military was on standby. When asked about this, the Emperor made no comment.

The Philippine bayan - The foreign ministry hereby advised Filipinos to avoid areas of conflict. The Terten administration refused to post their reaction towards the coup until it reveals its beliefs, its ideology and its willingness to stay in the Axis pact but for the meantime, Greater Sveriege would be suspended from all agreements with the country until further clarification will be received to what the real motives of the military lead coup are.

"We shall not hestitate to use brutal force if it is necessary. The new government must prove its worthiness of running its nation by ensuring safety of its own people. TODAY General Kaygriliostov announced that next month elections will be held. The Fascist Party of Sweden will be banned for campaigning for votes. He also announced that he would like the nation to stay in the Axis pact. In the city of Stockholm civilians rejoiced for the elections as they haven't been held in more than 20 years

Jordan Ruby, the Emperor of United Martians, sat down in a press conference with his most important ministers. He discussed the recent turn in events.
Prime Minister Gabriel Sparks, Commander-in Chief Nal-thack Orgki of the Military, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kren-Shuack Gth-kai, and other various ministers.
"So how do we react to the democratic intentions?" Said Jordan.
"We accept them, and encourage them." Replied Kren-Shuack "We must offer the new government trade and alliances, as a sign of encouragement. We must bring them into a fully functioning, peaceful democratic nation."
"I concur" agreed Gabriel
Nal-thack spoke up. "We can't just expect them to just go straight to a democracy. We need to take precautions, help the government reach the right conclusion. I recommend sending a brigade of Void Knights to help peace keep during the elections."
"A Brigade is pushing it, Commander." Replied Jordan. "That's 5,000 men.
"This is true. I With all due respect, I recommend we send only a company." Said Gabriel
"Very well. But just as precautions, I will send 2 companies, with a further 6 companies on stand by." said the Commander. "Are we agreed?"
"Agreed." The council muttered.

And so 500 Void Knights were sent to the country, awaiting the governments permission to enter, in order to peace keep and help with elections. With them, 5 diplomatic envoys went, to discuss potential alliance terms.

Major George Van Vreumegin and Captain Eltherk Oangni, the leaders of the two deployed companies, received the go ahead to enter the nation. As soon as they were secure, they established coms with the Commander-in-Chief.
"Hello, gentlemen. How's progress?" said the commander.
"We are within the borders, and are ready to do any peacekeeping tasks." Said Captain Eltherk. "However, we have been instructed not to go near the ballot boxes."
"I heard about that. It slightly concerns me, but we won't push the limits. I want you to report to General Kaygriliostov. Tell him you are here to help. You will be under his command. Remember, this is peacekeeping mission. Nobody is to be hurt."
"Understood, sir" said the Major.

So the two officers took their platoons to the city. They marched in, as the envoys sent word to General Kaygriliostov that they were ready to meet him.
