We will NOT work with the idea of a Vladivostok Alliance Space Program. As some nations might know, Grittonia already maintains a base on the moon and has a small space station in the large area called 'space'.

We feel that there are ,at the most, 25% of the members who can actively support the plan like Grittonia would have to do then. We currently have only so much funding and personnel and we do not feel like spreading our resources even further. Should we recieve more funding from the Grittonian goverment, which we do not see happening soon, we will participate in this 'Vladivostok Alliance Space Program' but for now we will have to say no.

If you're underfunded, that's a great reason to work with other VA members, but I won't insist that you make any decision other than that which you feel comfortable with.

We applaud the idea and would be happy to share whatever resources we have devoted to space exploration with you, however we would like to request that any planet colonization be:

-limited
-clean
-respects the native races (if any) of that planet

And that NO military forces be utilised in the colonisation of a planet unless we (the alliance) suffer from open hostilities (an attack) first.
We already have enough conflict here on this planet, it'd be better to try and keep it from spreading.

If the nations' taking part will abide by the above requirements, we will gladly join.

The F.R.C. will cooperate with KRS to establish a space program for this alliance. We believe that only through the spread of ideas, theories, and solutions can we discover more about our ever expanding universe. The Empire of Izraal would be pleased to join the space program. This would benefit us as we currently have no space program, though funding is available, and there are many willing scientists. We are willing to abide the requirements stated by the Belkans, though wish to revise them to allow military presence in the form of a defense force.

The Empire of Franca-Liria would also like to join in a joint-space program. We have several rocket launch facilities, as well as a crude, but working 1.4c engine for intra-system FTL travel. We would gladly make these technologies, facilities, and scientists available to the joint-space program. We are also willing to give monetary resources as well.

The People's Democratic Republic of Jungastia has since the mid 1970s held a base on the moon and a moon orbit space station, as well as fourteen research stations situated within 0.2 Light-years of the Moon. Over 2,300 Jungastians are currently stationed in space, with many living and working on the Jungastian Moon colony. As our own Space program is highly developed and currently a symbol of National Pride, we shan't be joining the VA Space Program,

We would however like to Invite other nations who have Lunar Colonies to join with us to create a mass system of lunar bases, this idea is not similar to the Space Program as will will not assist nations who are not currently Space Mobile

Our Martian Program has also been functioning for over 15 years now and the first manned Martian base is due to be occupied by June 21st 2010

After begging and doing horrible things to various ministers, we have been able to secure an extra 5% funding for the space program. For the people who wish to know more, we blackmailed and tortured a few ministers while we preformed sexual actions to the rest. Thank the Holy Ham and Cheese Sandwich of DOOM for teenagers who spend Daddy or Mommy's money.

As such while we are still understaffed, we are seeking canidates for that and expect to have blackmailed enough scientists to fill in the holes, we will be able to participate with the VASP.

As some of you may have known, twenty to thirty years ago society took a tailspin causing Sorgan to erupt into a wasteland of chaos, confusion, and death. Settlements walling themselves off and keeping strike forces and hit squads at the ready, after many years of this cycle a change came. A man named Anthony Bell, a scientist from the settlement know as "New Serbia" , led a armed force to take control of old downtown areas and the rest of the wasteland. Soon "The Sorganian Wastes" where back to normal, but this time under a more oppressive force, enforced labor, authoritarian police , eye-bots , and many more authoritarian traits. After he stepped down from office Greg Bell came to take the position of President. He implied that "All this is temporary, after we recieve the power and support we can return to normal again, our former glory, unity and strength shall be our guides, freedom and prosperity shall be the road we walk."

In short, support such as funds and equipment would be greatly appreciated so we can return to our former glory, strength and unity my brothers, strength and unity.

In many respects, this matter seems ideological. To maintain and financially ameliorate a Corporate Police State with VA funds would be difficult to pull off. However, all members are free to provide aid in any form they wish.

Thanks for the overwhelmingly good responses given so far about the space program. I would like to stress that this alliance is MT, so nations who claim to have "taken over the solar system" or claim to have bases on other planets unfortunately cannot exist in the same plain of existence as the VA Space Program. Sorry to disappoint.

That doesn't mean we can't exist in more than one plain. I think Belkan has some kind of a galactic fleet or something. However, as most NSers are MT, so is the Space Program, and the alliance must therefore cater mainly to MT. The VA exists in FT as well though, so I wouldn't sweat it if I were you.

La Habana would like to commit it's support for the space program that is currently being put together by The Alliance. As some of you may know, La Habana has considerable R&D facilities, massive financial wealth, and a highly skilled workforce; as well as advanced A.I. and supercomputers in widespread use. La Habana already has its own space program, with many space stations and satellites in orbit; however we have not journeyed far beyond the nearest planets, and wishes to expand its horizons.

La Habana would like to propose that the first project should be a space station in orbit over the planet, with a permanent crew. However, for a space station to support a permanent crew (two astronauts from each nation taking part), the station will need considerable development efforts; including some system of artificial gravity, food production, and air and water recycling. La Habana is currently developing an A.I. that will be able to control some of the systems on the station.

La Habana hopes this project will be considered, as it will be the first milestone on our journey to the stars.
