*What is the your largest ship in naval service: 140 metre attack submarine, KAS-15. class; however our largest military ship is the 160 metre ballistic submarines of the KNIS-4. class. Since our coastline is frozen for most of the year, we have a navy almost entirely comprised of submarines.

We aggree with freedom states that slavery should be stopped, but being the fact that no member nation is in danger, the ERF cannot be used to halt this outragous human trafficing.

That being said, any nation that wishes to go to war with these nations over slavery individually, may do so, then the ERF may be used if their troops are fired upon (Gulf of Tonkin lol). But we cannot simply jump in an say STOP! being the fact that these trades are taking place in their territories which obviously have different laws and regulations.

But I do aggree that this is wrong, but apologize about being unable to do anything about it, since we are still rebuilding our nation from the recent passed war.

((OOC: I would help, but gotta make this as realistic as possible, a nation that just went through a war on their home turf would probably be occupied for a little while with reconstruction

I have a small proposal. I say, that for POWs we construct a alliance wide prison where POWs can be placed. That way member nations won't have to deal with the dangers of having dangerous criminals within their borders. It would also save space and create a fortress which could be used in times of war. Any questions?

Now what should be done if an individual nation goes to war? like parsay Polish Denmark and Me for example, should all the POWs go to the alliances' prisions or only the POWs that were captured by alliance forces (ERF)? or only the ones the member nation doesn't want?

I agree that a prison under the oversight of The Alliance would be a good idea; however there should be a number of conditions:

1. The prison shouldnt be under the jurisdiction of any one member of The Alliance.

2. The human rights of prisoners should be respected; i.e. no torture, mistretment, given adequate sleep, adequate food, adequate exercise time, access to leisure materials like books, and kept in warm cells.

3. Prisoners should not be forced to labour for an excessive number of hours a day, and should give them special privelidges such as extra exercise time as reward for hard work.

4. Prisoners should be repatriated as soon as possible after hostilities end.

5. Prisoners should have a right not to be interrogated excessively for information.

6. Prison staff should include people from all Alliance members, so that abuses do not occur, or are minimized.

7. Law enforcement officials from member nations have the right to inspect the prison with no prior notice required to be given to the prison.

I think its agood idea, especially the joint staff, then any staff member may report the abuse/mistreatment of a POW from another staff member
But still the 5 council members have final say, but I feel that they will aggree as well, seeing that they are good natured nations as it is (unless we've been greatly decieved)

Well that's what the joint prison will be for, so you don't feel compelled to kill POW's, as POW's will be the joint responsibility of all Alliance members.
