Although I should add that Iraq is almost as messed up in Earth V as it is in real-life: You're going to have to RP the founding of a new government after the fall of the Vineyardian Empire's holding in Iraq (don't worry too much about the details if you don't want to; just know that the Vineyardians were imperialist and militant).

Believe me, math is not exactly my favorite subject in the world, either, but the Earth V budget requirements are quite simple:

"1) Divide your RL-population with your NS-population. The result is your ratio.
2) Multiply your NS-defense budget with your ratio from step 1. This is your defense budget in Earth V."

In fact, I could do your budget as an example for other new members to follow.

It would be:

NS population: 2,109,000,000
RL population: 28,945,657
Ratio: 0.0137248255
NS defense budget (from NSEconomy): $9,039,343,932,675.00
Earth V defense budget: $124,063,418,110.46

This is a general reminder that those who "claim" land but never post in the IC thread will not have their claims for very long.

Especially, after the Republic gobbles them up.

On a related note, Sixth have you thought about imposing a time limit for players to be active. For example, if any member for any reason hasn't posted any replies within say two [2] weeks*, their claims will there upon be forfeited and reopened to claiming. This would encourage members to be active, while at the same time getting raid of those members who become inactive on a regular basis instead of having to due constant activity checks.

*Disclaimer: Yes, I'm aware that most current long establish members have long bouts of inactivity [Sharina being a prime example]. However, a time limit might persuade them to be more active, even if it just to drop in and say hello. And by at least requiring them to post something, we can at least get their foot in the door to encourage them to be more active. Who knows, once they start posting again, maybe they'll rediscovered the great community that Earth V once was and could be again. Just a thought to ponder.

Apology accepted, though to be fair I hadn't notice as I'm to guilty as I was also enjoying a short absence [sort of] trying to get all the nationstates posts from jolt I wanted to save, together. So, if it makes you feel any better. I apologize too for not being more active the past month.
