1968 Alternate Reality Cold War (OOC, Semi-Open) [Dead]

This is a continuation of a older RP that died out. Everyone that I messaged can have their old nations again if they want. I am thinking that we could have the year be 1968 which would be when the Cold War was heating up. You are all free to discuss what we could do.

Let me lay out a few rules:

1.) Stay realistic: This my be alternate reality but please don't have East Germany invading Israel

2.) No Godmoding: No numbers spamming or huge amounts of airplanes or troops.

3.) The OP and the Co-ops are in charge: I am the OP and I chose the Co-op's. If there are any arguments please don't spam the OOC and instead ask me or the Co-op for help.

4.) Try to stay to history: Even though this alternate reality please stay a little true to history. For example don't say that Germany is re-united or that Italy becomes communist. You can have nations be slightly more powerful than they were in RL but nothing too extreme.

5.) If you don't know something look it up: Don't BS. Try to be specific and look stuff up.

6.) NO ONE LINERS: The minimum amount per post in 1 paragraph. Anyone who posts less than 1 paragraph will be given a strike. And you can guess what happens after 3.

7.) NO CABBAGE OR WAFFLE WARS: We don't need any more of those

8.) Clean your language clean:There is no need to write profanities and it also is not good for political dialogue.

It's 1968 and the peace between North and South Vietnam is strengthen because of the treaty in 1963. 5 years passed and the North Vietnam now has a mechanized agriculture and food production industry, own and run by the state of-cause. Young N. Vietnamese are increasingly getting spoil due to the food surplus. Fired chicken wings is the common snack while chilled green tea become the national drink. In school, children are only focus on math, science, morality, socialism and writing; this leading to a explosion of young creative engineers and specialists. State run factories are pumping out copies of American made household appliances like refrigerator, tv, radio, telephones, type-writers, copy machines, etc... Although most products made in N. Vietnam are direct copies of American and Russian products, but considerable knowledge was and is being learned by N. Vietnamese engineers through the reverse engineering process.
