War, in all its foul stench permeates the air. Sitting in his throne the Oracle, leader of the Shadow, thumbs his necklace anxiously. War is here. It may not be upon him yet, though he feels it in his very pulse. Just beyond the eastern sunrise, war is here, at his doorstep..,.

"The Last War. So the previous conflict had been called. The War to End All Wars. What fantasy that was. Despite the Old One's careful planning, their attempts to forge their New World Order had failed, and now humanity hovered at the brink of death. But the Last War? No. Despite being so close to the brink, humanity still suffers the slings and arrows of not fate, but the slings and arrows of their brother men. So it was. So it is. And so it will be, until the last man dies.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.- Carl Sagan

O hai I can join pls?

Faction's full name: L3 Corporate Security/L3 Communications Corporation
Faction's short name: L3
Your faction's capital: Martyn (?)
Faction leader's name and title: Lt. Col. Huang Yi (Military); Chairwoman Alice Rachael Meyers (Civil)
Military strength: 640
General population: 3,120
A short summary of your faction's history: L3's Corporate Security division began as an extension of it's private military services groups. The initial reasoning was that global terrorism and hostile actions against corporate interests was becoming too strong for any local or third party groups to handle, thus several small PMCs were bought by L3 to use as a security. What was initially a small, thousand or so man group of specialists grew to a multi-million man 'corporate army' within twenty years, using surplus US Army and third party weaponry like the R2 Assault Rifle and the Lyran LY7 Rottweiler MBT. When the bombs started falling, L3's security division was at the height of it's power, equipped with vast satellites and it's own nuclear arsenal.

Thinking it would be better to launch now then wait and see if any survived, most of the corporation's nuclear missiles were sent up, moments before the launch silos were destroyed. In the aftermath of the war, several small bunker complexes had been constructed by L3, with the aid of several foreign corporations, to protect it's high level corporate officers. These 'vaults' were scattered around the world, in both L3's territory, the territory of it's allies and neutral third parties.

This bunker was one of the latter ones and never received any direct strikes. It was also one of the most remote bunker complexes and largest. It was designed the shelter the Board in the event of a "cataclysmic event of apocalyptic proportions".

Tech levels: Equivalent to a modern army battalion, although the unit's munition and petrol stocks are ridiculously low, reducing their effective fighting ability to fielding, at most, a single company of infantrymen with IFV support.

Population: 3,760 Total; 3,120 Civilian, 640 Military

Mutations: Absolutely none.

I endorse L3 because of the references.

Having a smaller one forces us into confrontation...
