I assume from the OP on the IC, that we are going to RP our arrival starting from the insertion on the forward deck?

Couple of quick questions then...

Who are we "reporting" to for this exercise?
Is it safe to assume that our groups will be getting quarters issued for the duration of this exercise?
Is everyone being transported on that first helicopter? Or are we coming in on a couple of different waves?

You are going to be briefed by Alice. Each group of Operators has a small bunk, and a locker for storage of their equipment, which is provided by the Revelation. They'd have a duffelbag, a rifle, and they'd be wearing their BDUs. Kevlar isn't necessary. Everyone is indeed being transported on the first helicopter. It's the size of a Chinook.

I really don't want to change my post with the seperate helicopter, because it just brings to mind that I have pride that this will prove my nations ability to make real military weaponry or something.

I wrote it that way to prevent confusion, and to go into the canon of our doctrine. All Operators were to be onboard that heli, to keep it clean and prevent mix ups with all sorts of different military vehicles.

Also, it's a bit hard to read it, space out the quotations and always put characters speaking on a new line from one another. I would say indent for every character speaking, but NS can't indent...

I'm going to apply, and I had(luckily) already had a team set up. Sadly, I have a problem. One: My team is made up of two squads of 4, making an 8-man special forces team. Each has a specialized role, minus the squad leaders, which are just riflemen. So, any suggestions on what specialties would be the best to take?
My team is made up of:
2 Squad Leaders, 2 Riflemen, Sharpshooter, Scouting/Recon, Heavy Weapons, Medic.

Edit: Or... Would it be easier just to draft a new third squad?

Also, each squad gets a non-combat, off-site support operator that helps with satellite imagery and information flow in real life. Are these banned or allowed? Also, do they count in the 4-person crew size?

A: Make a new battle roster, it will be easier.
B: Id say no offsite support.. cause you know, it's a Virtual Reality simulation that will render off site support completely useless.....

Don't really have any suggestions. Just remember that "anything" is technically possible, so I would suggest a generally rounded squad.
