Pacan Civil war [Closed/IC]

Paca, a nation in the east of Tarus and at war.
The nation of Paca is known for its many rebel and pirate clans, all of them causing havoc within the border and outside the borders of Paca.

The government of Paca recently called for aid against the rebels. And Alahana responded by sending civil aid such as refugee camps in the neighbouring nations, hospitals, food, etc.
We, Alahana, also decided to send military aid to the nation. We made this decision becouse of the fact that the rebels and pirates have been interupting trade in the region for many decades, and getting rid of the rebels would improve the economy of all nations. Paca is an important trader in rare earth minerals and prescious materials such as diamond and gold.

Now Alahana has called for the aid of the United Defence Council to assist us in this war.
This confilct is going to be harsh, the country of Paca varies much, the north has hot and dry deserts, the south has wet and dense rainforests.

These clans do not like each other and will also fight each other, like they've always done, but if a large international military presence would show up, they might join each other to repeal the international forces.

Clans
Kata Clan: The Kata clan is the most nutorious clan in Paca, known for its drugs and human trafficing, they are also known for using slave soldiers, they have 12,500 men, all armed with relativerly good weapons becouse they are rich for there drugs.
Munya Clan:The Munya clan controll the southern rainforests. They are known for the many abductions that happen all over the country. They are also known for the assasinations of important figures. They are the stealthy clan.
Kembe Clan:The Kembe Clan controls the northern deserts, they are the terrorist faction between the clans. They've done many national and international hits. They are also the only clan that is also veryactive internationally.
Konga Clan:The Konga clan is the pirate clan. They assault transport ships and cruise liners, disrupting regional economy. They are also capable of assaulting military grade ships.

Is there anything we need to know before we go on land?" Captain Monreau asked the Alahanese navy.

The Long Range Patrol Unit was formed up in a hangar in Rochester Air Base, they were sat and stood around. Quietly talking amongst themselves, primarily about what on earth is so important as to get them up and ready to deploy at 03:00 in the morning.

'Attention' ordered a voice and all at once the men sprang to their feet and stood rigidly still. 'At ease' another voice said, with this the men went back to a more relaxed stance. The voice belonged to Colonel Williams, he continued ' Good morning gents, I'm here to tell you that our government has deemed it necessary to become involved in the PACAN CIVIL WAR.' Hushed words were spoken amongst the assembled men.
' It is for this reason you are stood before me, for you will be deploying by air to Paca. You are our country's eyes and ears on the ground, your main objective is to land via parachute into the northern desert region of the target country and assess the situation on the ground. Secondary objectives include finding and securing a site for a future Forward Operating Base if the situation dictates we must send in more troops to help stabilise the region.' The colonel looked around the hangar, 'Any questions?' He asked.
'What sort of enemy are we up against?' Came a gruff voice. The colonel looked to his right and ushered up a shorter soldier. 'From intelligence reports we can gather that the local clan, the Kembe are responsible for many terrorist attacks, both within Paca and Internationally. Expect IEDs and guerrilla style tactics.' The intelligence finished.
Colonel Williams took over 'Ok gents, so the plan is for you and your vehicles to be on-board the plane by 06:00 ready for take off at 06:30, you will reach pacan airspace approximately at 21:00 tonight. Have a pleasant flight gents.' With that the colonel left the hangar and the soldiers erupted into activity, filling up fuel cans, magazines and getting any other equipment they would need for a month in the field.

I will send my troops in from the north through the desert. I'm sending half of my navy my entire Air Force and my army I'll engage the Kemebe clan

2000 troops are now landing in the northern desert faced with harsh resistance managed to form a northern front after 1 day of fighting killing 560 rebels while suffering 300 casualties

"Greetings Admiral Monreau. My name is Peter Williams, I am the commander of this task force and admiral of the 18th flotilla and captain of the 'ANS Inferno'.
I will give you all the information I can give.
We will land our forces east of Kyeswa. This place is located south of Dataset on the other side of the Pacan Bay.
I will also give you an telegram of all forces we have."

Captain Williams said while sending the telegram.

Meanwhile other nations are entering the theatre, waiting to enter the war
Admiral Williams send this telegram to the nations of Lakaii, South St Medicus and The Wealden Republic.

The Greycoateense Guerilla regiment of 10,000 shall fight in this war.

The huge forest stood before the Greycoat men as they prepared to enter the jungle. "From this point on keep your guns handy and keep your eyes open for anything suspicious," said Commander Balton. The men entered the jungle and looked around just as a huge shower of arrows fell upon them. "HOLY CRAP QUICKLY HIDE," Commanded Balton. The arrows sewered several men through the heart but most men managed to survive and fired rounds of gunfire making the Tribes retreat. "From now on we will part ways there will be 100 in each group use what you learned in the trainings and apply them to assure our victory over these," Balton resolved. "Yes sir!" yelled the men and started getting into groups of 100.

The sun went down where the Greycoateense army would strike the heart of the Tribal warriors in the jungle and reclaim this Forest in name of the defence council

"Hmm looks like i must head for some bay in south dataset," said commander balton "they have made a meeting for every nation's commander to attend"

I am Admiral Williams, leader of the Alahenese task force.
I thank you that every single one of you could be here.

I will just skip all the talking and just be direct.
We know little about the rebels, only that they are concentrated in some key areas.
Like your could read in the first message I send out you know which clan is concentrated where. But there are other, minor clans also scattered around the country.
We also know that the Munya and the Kembe clan have united forces against us, other clans might follow.
Also, don't just rush towards the enemy, because this will be costly in lives for your army. These guys ain't fooling around. They make excellent use of booby traps, IED's and ambush/guerrilla tactics.

My army will be making tactical bases in secured areas, right now the ony secure area is here, where we landed. The southern rainforest is still infested with the Munya clan, and the norhtern desert is still controlled by the Kembe clan.

Now I'd like to know what intelligence you have gathered and what you will be doing."

Commander Balton from the Greycoat Forces: Hello and thank you for letting me speak our intelligence is extremely important when my army of 10,000 was travelling through the rainforests we encountered a tribe which has not yet been indentified the symbol marked on their shirt suggests they are from some "Lalunito" tribe. More than 20 of our men got killed in the encounter and we would like to tell UDC that we must update our info on the tribes here.

Hmmm, thats weird, the name does not suggest it is an tribe from Paca. It will propably be an minor clan, or maybe some sort of branch of the Munya Clan.

Over south Pacan airspace

'1 Minute til drop!' Came the loadmaster over the radio, the men got ready as the C-130 ramps lowered and a blast of air ripped around the cargo hold. The men formed up in two files of twelve, either side of the four 4x4s that lined the middle of the hold.

The green light came on and the soldiers rushed forward to the exit ramp pushing the vehicles out as they went. The loadmaster counted them and began to raise the ramp. The only people left onboard the aircraft were the 5 crew and 3 more military personnel all of whom were sat on fold down chairs forward the cockpit. They were continuing the flight to an area east of Kyeswa, where they told to link up with other allied forces to begin joint task force communication. The leader of the small group was Major Scott, he had with him 2 soldiers from the Special Operations and Recon Company (SORC) as a security detail. They relaxed again and set in for the next 1 hour until they reached their landing site.

On the ground in South Paca
Corporal Richards had just landed in this alien land, he began to assemble his patrol and their 4x4, he ordered his men to load up, including their parachutes that were scattered over the landing site. 'Patrol leaders on me!' came an order. Richards followed the sound until he confronted Capt. Taylor the Long Range Patrol Unit leader. 'Ok gents make sure your men are ready to move in 5 minutes.' Taylor pulled a map and gps out, using the gps he ascertained his position then showed where the patrol had landed on the map. 'We are currently here, we will move out in a single group heading north until we reach the village, here.' He pointed to the map. 'We are to make contact with locals and gather information on any enemy forces in the area. Mount up gents!' The patrol leaders went to the vehicles and the convoy got under way.

An explosion could be heard from miles away. The northern desert clans have joined arms to stop the Medicus advance.
One of their convoys ran in one of our ambushes, the tanks were being hit from above by rebel anti-tank rockets being shot from the hills.
Anti-tank mines and other Improvised explosive devices (IED's) were being used to stop this convoy.

The army of medicus was given no quarter, they are getting all the aggression of the northern clans.
The northern clans know the desert like no other, they can fight in it better than anyone else, the troops of Medicus, not being used to the rough terrain and the harsh climate of these deserts, it will only be a matter of time before they will have to stop their military operations in the area.

The Medicus Air Force has started bombing the rebel positions and are using smart bombs to take out enemy encampment and are using drones to go into the minefields and disarm the mines

The troops have landed, the campaign can begin.

Firebase Sierra I has been enstablished at the landing site.
The troops will move around the bay towards to capital city of Dataset.
Most of the ground forces will be used in securing the way to the capital.

The konga clan have been assaulting smaller military vessels such as the LWS Sarles, an replenishment ship on its way to support the Lakean fleet.

Our warships are now preparing to clear the seas of the Konga clan vessels.
