500,000,000 Kredit Deal With UWK
Earlier today, the UWK purchased the rights to construct 10 FAF Manufacturing Facilities in their country by Imperial construction teams at the modest sum of 500,000,000 Kredits in total. The crews are currently headed to the sites designated by the UWK and are currently unable to be released to the public, for fears of attempted sabotage during the construction. Additionally, a veteran FAF crew is headed to each site and will begin to teach the crews intended to work at the FAFs the finer points of their operation. This deal comes just after a political campaign against the UWK, spearheaded by the Commonwealth of Prometheus Prime, which attempts to place a political black hole on the UWK. Although the Colonist's Triumvirate has not released any statements, speculators are certain that they may have already been contacted by the leaders of The Commonwealth.

Today Carcipe Islands has created its first navy. After the long support of Promethius and 46566 they were able to build a navy. This was the long dream of both groups when Carcipe Islands would finally have a navy.

Today, the King's Council have agreed that it is now time to allow the availability of Internet to its citizens. While the Government has had internet access for 5 years, the government has never really seen any use for the public to have access to the Internet until now. The government has now abolished The Propaganda Act it has had for several years and is now allowing the free press to operate inside Unibearia. With this law abolished, it would also seem logical to allow it's citizens to see the world from anyone's point of view from around the world.

The government is also looking for internet providers to settle in the UWK to provide faster and more reliable services then its current Government supplied service.

Press Release Regarding the Unibearian Situation
The government of the Commonwealth has officially transferred the agreed payment of $10 billion per ship to the Unibearian government and has acknowledged receipt of the technologies and objects laid out in the agreement; furthermore we have already dealt with and disposed of the non-radioactive elements of these accordingly. As per the agreement military action against Unibearia is no longer considered a reasonable option and therefore the CAF has been ordered to stand down and return to base in preparation for emergency refugee operations which related to an unrelated event.

We have heard numerous allegations of Commonwealth government or CAF involvement and collusion in the attempted sabotage of Arcadian technologies in Unibearia. The government's official position on the matter is that we are unaware of any such attempted sabotage, we deny any knowledge of any plans to take such action against Unibearia and we do not accept claims that those responsible for any such acts were doing so on the orders of the government or CAF. As such the Commonwealth will not be seeking the return of those captured by Unibearian forces, these people, regardless of their descent or country of origin are not affiliated with the government of the Commonwealth and do not represent our policies at this time. We have no record of any of the alleged saboteurs in our CAF and government staff databases. These are considered to be persona non grata in the Commonwealth.

Further to our previous warning to the international community regarding the trading of arms with Unibearia, the government wishes to clarify that it will not be taking military action, nor will it attempt to enforce any sort of embargo. This said we will make every reasonable effort in order to limit the trade of arms and weapons technology to Unibearia for the foreseeable future as we continue to view them as a danger to regional and global stability. We respectfully ask that all nations significantly limit the sales of arms and weapons technology to Unibearia so as to encourage the nation to focus on more peaceful endeavours such as economic growth and development.

Press Release Regarding the Refugee Situation
Approximately 72 hours ago the Combined Intelligence Services formally confirmed to the President and Combined Military Command that the Arcadian Reich had, four months prior, collapsed directly subsequent to their defeat over Enkon and the success of the independence movement. Following this confirmation our long range reconnaissance and early warning sensor systems of the edge of our solar system detected a large number of incoming refugee ships from the former Reich.

So as to clarify their intentions messages were dispatched to these fleets and they confirmed their status as refugee ships following the destruction of their homeworlds; we have since sent numerous dispatches back and forth to them and have arranged for their safe arrival over Enkon, where they will be invited to join the Commonwealth and make planetfall.

At this point we wish to reassure the international community that this will not result in significant territorial expansion on the part of the Commonwealth; we already have sufficient space to accommodate the refugee population. In addition we have already expanded our ability to produce food, that said we would like to appeal to our allies 46566, Ajerrin, Onza and the Grand Dominion for food and medical aid so that we can effective compensate for the population surge. We are more than willing to offer substantial monetary compensation for such aid.

To clarify further, it is confirmed that the Arcadian Reich has collapsed and no longer presents a significant threat to Enkon or its peoples for the foreseeable future. USS forces stand down
Midgar,46566-With the recent commonwealth demobilization, the USS has issued a statement of demobilization. The USS will be willing to host a delegation from Unibearia in hopes of creating some sort of rampart with the isolated country.The hopes are that such a move could open up further trade with the country and help the USS to build industry within the country to help both USS business and employ Unibearia citizens. This will boost profits from USS companies and give more imports in the southern hemisphere. The hopes are that with such a deal the USS could take a slice of the Unibearia market for themselves and hopes are to weaken the nedean stranglehold on the countries economy.

A trade treaty already exists between both countries but the hopes are that the USS could help Unibearia with both mining for gold and silver.Also the USS hopes to score drilling rights for oil within Unibearia. The USS will also be willing to discuss a trade deal involving small arm sales to the country, with a option of selling naval ships The plan will help the USS is creating a growing market in southern countries.

With the Prometheans gone and the ships out of UWK hands, the military now demobilises. some 6 million were mobilised for about 1-2 months and now they demobilise and return home. Rationing has been removed and a consumer based economy is in development. This is mostly because of the realisation of how many view us as a future threat to the stability and prosperity of Enkon. With this realisation, The Royal Council of Unibearia (The royal council is the National Council) has passed a law with the approval of King Yuri to drastically cut its military spending and research on powerful weapons. This law also includes a restriction on what the government can do militarily on a international scale drastically.

The only thing that will have to do with the military is a modernisation of it to better serve and protect its people and borders.

In other news, the UWK accepts the USS offer to host a delegation between the two nations. Although it may not seem possible to have it scheduled while the King is in mourning, it is on the priorities list of the Kings agenda. The UWK is looking to having it after the Royal wedding.

The Veteran Ranger stood on the top of tower no.1 on the almost rebuilt Furni Mal Dam. He looked through the scope and scanned the area. All was clear. Workers were laying down foundations and huge slabs of resistant concrete and steel were added into the frame almost daily. Production was going well, but there were some issues...

Engineer Christina Matihews stood by the entrance to tower no.1, waiting for the guest to arrive. Suddenly a grey limo pulled into the dam carpark, flanked by several police cars and army jeeps. She walked slowly to the limo and waited outside for Edgardt Saef to make his way out. Christina stood up straight and saluted briefly as Edgardt came out.
"Greetings to the Furni Mal Dam, Mr President."
Edgardt shook her hand and Christine led Edgardt to the dam.
"Ah, thank you. Now how is the construction going?"
"Quite well, apart from the odd NV scouting party. But there is one issue, sir."
"And what would that be?"
"Well, the rangers report that a NV attack on the dam when finished is exceedingly likely, sir."
"Well, get some troops here."
"It's not that simple, sir. The troops won't be able to get here in time for that. They are on the other side of North Vvarden."
Edgardt frowned. "Then halt the construction until they arrive."
Christina shook her head. "That's not possible."
Edgardt looked annoyingly at Christina. "How?"
"You know the solar panels that were erected when the landing commenced that provided power?"
"Yes?"
"We need more power. So far, cities like First Town and New Andas have been suffering brownouts and blackouts and this is the only way to get the power there without costing billions."
"So, you are saying that if we finish this dam, there will no longer be blackouts but the North Vvardeni will attack?"
"Yes."
"And if we don't-"
"There will be severe blackouts across Vvarden."
Edgardt put his head in his hands. "So we are to choose between lions and wolves?"

Chief Elder elections coming soon

Elder Kenneth Simmons announces that he will run against Chief Elder Helena Vane in the coming elections.

Ithaqua, New Toola - Today, as Elder Simmons of the Department of State gave his address on the upcoming elections that begin a year from today. In his address however, he announced that he will run against the current incumbent, Helena Vane. This move was not predicted by any of the political analysts in New Toola but as of right now, he has a decent chance of winning. He has been hailed throughout his twenty year term as the head of the Department of State for his devotion to the betterment of New Toola but also to the other nation's around Enkon.

Elder Simmons is best known on an international scale for his role in the Wachan-Mcnernian dispute some years back. He made sure that New Toola did not lose all of the islands in the Freedom Sea to the Wacha. He is also known for his controversial vote in the decision to allow the government to kill wolfish people on site. Elder Claire Davis of the Department of Health and Human Services, Elder Alice Johnson of the Department of Education, and himself were the only three to vote no on the issue.

After the decision was announced by the Chief Elder, Elder Simmons spoke to reporters and said this...

"While I have the utmost respect for my fellow Elders, I believe that this was the wrong way to handle the issue. Myself and my other two colleagues advocated for deportation back to Unibearia, not the executions of these people."

This statement seemed to have turned Chief Elder Helena Vane and his relationship to less than happy terms. He took it one step further by advocating on a live interview about stopping the executions...

"We must stop this. We have allowed the deaths of innocents because of a issue of religion. Our government says that it acts in the Christian way but yet, we kill people because they are different. This is no different than the issues of racism that have been seen throughout all of history. I am ashamed that some of my fellow Elders act in this way because of our religion and it truly saddens me. Christians believe in equality and this has tainted the name of Christianity by doing this in its name. I for one don't agree with it at all."

Elder Simmons received praise from a good chunk of the population for this statement but he basically stands alone at the moment on this side of the issue. While he has stated that he doesn't completely believe in complete freedoms for wolfish people, he does believe that they should be given a chance.

Only time will tell if he proves to be successful in the election that is a year away.

Nine months after the Arcadian Kotori Carrier Tyrant of Thedes crashed in the city center Ghray, the citizens are mounting a comeback. For the past nine months the city has received an outpouring of support from the Federation-Coalition Red Cross and the Commonwealth, in addition to the Federal Emergency Support Association of Ajerrin (FESAA).

The political face of the reconstruction efforts has been State President Valter Ulrich. Ulrich has vowed to bring Ghray to its former glory and declared Ghray “The Federation’s City," a place where all citizens should pay homage to at least once in their lives. Ulrich has put a bullseye on Ghray, enlightening the nation of the conservative nature that has put Ajerrin in an unsafe, dangerous position.

Last month, Ulrich pledged to support an increase in upper atmosphere industries, including science research and space defense. Just lats week, the State President stood in front of thousands of workers at Darkwater Industries, the UFA’s largest defense contractor, and pushed for an increase in national defense systems - specifically upper atmosphere and stellar defense systems.

Today, State President Ulrict stood in front of tens of thousands of citizens in the new Frisk Bay State Park to make an announcement.

“Today we are here to celebrate the lives of our loved ones who perished on that frightful day nine months ago. Avnoi Hrast Kjethjehr Vathretvari (AHKV) Wins Ion Tokamak Production Rights.

MARIA - In a major anti-trust victory for Avnoi Hrast Kjethjehr Vathretvari, the Patent Production Rights Office of the Federal Ministry of Commerce was ordered by the UTR’s First Federal Court of Appeals in Maria to end Szukxoi’s monopoly on production of major defense-related systems within the UTR, by approving AHKV’s application to build tokamak ion-reactor engines rated up to SciAdv=450.

Manufacturing the powerful engines SciAdv=300 or greater, now a necessary component on all new capital ships of the UTR space forces, requires approval to access and utilize over 8,000 of the government’s most advanced R&D patents ranging from next-generation AI systems to manage the engines’ plasma field intensities to high-energy lasers used to ignite the plasma-gas.

AHKV, a major subcontractor to Szukxoi Heavy Defense Industries, already manufactures approximately 35% of the components in most of Szukxoi’s tokamak engines, and has major subsidiaries and partnerships with subsystem manufacturers that supply Szukxoi with many of other components used within its space products, ranging from plasteel shielding and ship framing to astronav and automated tactical combat control systems.

The Admiral of the 7th Fleet, Dorn Lundwick, stood proud on the deck of his flagship, the immense terrestrial skycarrier Cayvon Saar. This was a momentous occasion for all concerned, the Carcip Islands had finally established a sizable enough fleet that they could now patrol and protect their own waters from piracy and those nations internationally which might do them harm; so the time had come for Lundwick and the 7th to cease operations and hand over the defence of the Carcip Islands to its own naval forces. A small group of military approved press photographers and reporters, as well as a live broadcast crew for KamNet had been invited to witness the event; here they all were a full naval marine honour guard stood on the carrier deck with Lundwick in full ceremonial uniform, the dark green with black and silver trim unique to the 7th.

Now they simply waited for the arrival of the Admiral of the new Carcipriot navy to arrive to complete the former handing over ceremony. It was a historic day, and one which filled every citizen of the Commonwealth with pride; a neighbouring nation that they had nurtured and protected was now stepping into its own, taking the military reigns and saying 'here I am'. It was a feeling akin to that of a parent watching their child leave home for the first time, or a craftsman marveling at the fruits of his labour - but in truth the Commonwealth could claim little credit for themselves. It had been the efforts of the people of the Carcip Islands which had made today possible and it was through their labour that they would advance into the future.

"Today has been a long time coming. When the Motako administration finalised the agreement with the government of 46566 and the Carcip Islands to see to the joint defence and economic prosperity of the nation we all knew that the day would come when the treaty was no longer fully necessary. That day has come. Through the joint efforts of 46566 and the Commonwealth the Carcip Islands have been protected and their economy nurtured; but now the time comes for us to end one part of that agreement and move forward." Lundwick cleared his throat and looked at the assembled officials, marines and journalists. "46566 has been a staunch friend and ally and though we have not always been in agreement over wider issues on the international stage we have always agreed upon our joint obligation to the Carcip Islands and their people. With the creation of an independent navy, controlled by the Carcipriots themselves it is no longer necessary for the Commonwealth to patrol their waters. Thus today we have invited our esteemed friends from the Carcip Islands to come and take up the mantle of their own protection."

Completion of the Constitutional Convention
The results of the Constitutional Convention had now been announced; the Commonwealth would operate under a tight federal system with a vastly powerful central government which divided into a series of local departments. The executive would be elected directly by a system of deferred voting, with a president serving up to three five year terms. The legislative meanwhile would consist of two houses, one elected by direct proportional representation and the other consisting of locally elected delegates. The judiciary would remain in place, however significant powers of judicial review would be transferred from the Justice Department (under the Executive) to a newly formed Grand Court.

The Constitution has also enshrined the Fundamental Rights, those rights which all citizens have and which cannot be infringed upon; as well as the Conditional Rights, those rights which all people may assume, but which may be stripped by due judicial process. Further to this the Constitution stipulates that actively serving members of the military may, from the completion of the first general elections, only serve within the War Ministry and no other branch of government. This means that those senior military figures, such as the current president, Kono Tanaka, who wish to serve in government would, for the most part have to first resign their commissions.

Full and equal rights have been extended to citizens of all genders, sexualities, ethnicities, religions, creeds and ideologies; however the document specifically excludes proto-human, pseudo-human, abhuman and other genetic deviations such as wolfen from this. Wolfen (and other species of this ilk) are granted a single right, that of safe passage out of the Commonwealth and are not permitted to enter its territories under normal circumstances. The right of safe passage is thus defined: "The safe conduct and reasonable treatment of such persons, who shall forcibly but not cruelly be removed from the Commonwealth. Such person to whom this right applies are entitled to the transportation of personal belongings, the sanctity of their family unit and, should they not resist their deportation, peaceful treatment. The Fundamental Rights are extended to all humans of all nationalities present within the Commonwealth.

Congress of Vierne
Representatives of the North Cadian and Aramatherian Refugee Fleets have met with senior officials from the Commonwealth's government in Vierne at a formal Congress to negotiate the terms of their making planetfall and integrating into Commonwealth society. Thus far the government have laid down acceptance and adherence to the newly formalised Constitution as their only stipulation, meaning that refugees would be granted full citizenship rights as part of the Commonwealth and would be resettled by the government evenly throughout the nation in order to prevent the growth of enclaves or ghettos.

The North Cadian delegation is lead by Lord Protector Midas Volkhar, former governor of the North Cadian province of the Reich and godfather of the Kaiserin's youngest child Lihua. The Aramatherian delegation meanwhile is lead by Emir Duranni al-Khazeem, a passionate Aramatherian freedom fighter who lead their rebellion against the Reich prior to the destruction of his homeworld. Rumours persist that Volkhar was able to safely secure Lihua prior to the storming of the Imperial Palace and collapse of the Reich, however this has been neither confirmed nor denied by the North Cadians or Commonwealth government. If true however this would mean that the sole heir to the Arcadian Imperial Throne and the throne of the Ilvenni Thearch is now being brought to Enkon.

The Central Committee of the Federation of Ybaron has ordered the development of a new potential biochemical weapon out of a fungus commonly found in fauna surrounding swamp conditions near the town of Port Barco, a national fishermen's hub. The fungus which attributed the code name ‘XT0012’ recently is known to locals of rural areas. In July, there was a series of mysterious reports in the most remote areas of Port Barco that the catfish from the local waters were poisoning peasants, farmers and fishermen in large quantities, leaving large families to starve without a family provider and a sustainable source of income. These reports did not go public, and rumors concerning the abductions of citizens by men in black began circulating the borough by word of mouth.

Media coverage on the subject did not achieve national concern status, some conspirators claim that the Federation has been suppressing these unusual occurrences and ongoing experiments with denial and ignorance towards the issues at stake. The Military Laboratories in the outskirts of Port Barco are about some of the only buildings and places in the state which have a prohibited entry without permission policy, which has been causing skepticism among the ordinary masses. Military personnel has been sighted and security has been tightened significantly. Some fishermen even say that their fish has been stolen by the secret authorities and fascist gangs some claim.

‘XT0012’ is currently being worked and developed by the nation's scientists to create an efficient poisoning agent that has the potential to spread at the rate of the Ancient Terran Black Plague. Ferro has yet to experience any abnormalities and the government denies any covert involvement with fish stealing.

When she had last left, her discovery had netted her a promotion to Project Overseer and a new task from the Arbiter; to find any available information within the archives about old Imperial cloning technology, and see to the reconstruction of such technology. I mean, he called me here to brief him on the progress, but then he disappears right before I get here? I seriously wonder after the man's mental health... She shook her head and sighed again, starting to feel restless. Taking a moment to study the office in detail (she had been too preoccupied during her last visit), she noticed that there wasn't much decorum to the place; true, the office was fairly large, and held several pieces of furniture, but it just seemed... 'efficient'? Was that the word? Maybe it was more akin to 'spartan'... Anyway, there was no grandiose posturing with the furniture here like so many other Governmental figures did. The room was rectangular, with enough room to comfortably fit 5 fairly comfortable but plain chairs, 2 plain bookshelves with an assortment of Old Imperial books as well as books acquired Enkon, a spacious and plain floor rug that covered all but a foot's size of the floor all around the edges, and a few pictures of landscapes hanging on the wall. Again, some depicted scenes and landscapes of the Old Empire, and some depicted the landscapes of Enkon. And the official's huge desk, which mostly took up one end of the office, but once again, plain.

All in all, it's not too bad in general... The Overseer found a chair near the desk of the Arbiter and took a seat, avoiding the inevitable cramps that came when she stood for too long. But where is he...? Was he not informed that I had arri-

Just then, the front door of the office had opened suddenly, and the Arbiter, along with a nondescript man entered the room speaking quickly. The man, obviously Imperial, wore normal clothing, but he had a shoulder badge on his shirt; upon closer inspection, she noted the badge was a circle the color of midnight, with two contrasting white triangles strangely positioned on the badge to look as if they were eyes staring at you...

Shaking her head quickly, the Overseer focused on the conversation, as they were still oblivious to her presence.

"...should have contacted the Defense Commander immediately, Shadow," the Arbiter said.

"Unavoidable," the other man, the 'Shadow', answered him back. "We were in a tense situation with the immigrants already, and the immigrant gave the Wolfian a helluva cut on his face. What's worse, the weapon the suspect used was apparently poisoned against his own knowledge, as even he was shocked when the Wolfian male began having an allergic reaction to it."

The Arbiter frowned. "That's an unlikely conclusion... what was the weapon involved?"

"A silver flag ornament in the shape of a pike tip, sir. The man says that as soon as he realized that the Wolfian was allergic to it, he immediately threw the object away and immediately surrendered to our operatives. We've questioned him as much as we are able to, and since it was a major dispute, we are confining him as the aggressor for 2 weeks, then letting him go under watch for another two."

The Arbiter nodded. "Good. Give me a report when he gets out of confinement." The man nodded, turned around and made for the door. As he opened it, he turned and winked at the Overseer, who let out a gasp of surprise before she could help herself. Chuckling, the Shadow edited the room and closed the door.

"Wondering who he is, Overseer?" queried the Arbiter as he sat at his desk. All the Overseer could do was nod silently. "That man is part of a secret Imperial organization that oversees espionage, counter-terrorism and the like. It is the Imperial Shadow Corps. In the Old Empire, they were the Emperor's elite secret police, trained to handle most situations alone or in small teams with whatever they had on them. They often carry... specialized weapons rather than conventional ones."

Knitting her brow, the Overseer tried to remember if a name such as the Shadow Corps even existed in the Imperial Database. She didn't seem to recall it... she looked up at the Arbiter, who was smiling at her.

"Can't figure it out? Then I'll tell you. They don't exist, officially. They have no standardized record. Rather, they keep an offline database to themselves, and keep the information highly protected and sealed through several methods." At this, the Overseer looked confused and slightly overwhelmed from all of this information.

"But, Arbiter," she spoke cautiously, "why tell me? Do I have the authority to hear and view this information? Won't this be a burden on you, for releasing classified materials to unauthorized people?"

The Arbiter laughed. "You really haven't guessed? Your find about the cloning technology earlier today cinched the decision; you're being promoted again." The Overseer started panicking. "W-what?! Again? Surely there isn't anything higher than overseer that I'm qualified for. I'm just a simple archiv-"

"Not anymore. You've shown myself and the Triumvirate you have excellent researching capabilities, as well as well-balanced managerial skills to boot. Therefore, you are the new High Overseer of the R&D Division, effective the moment you left your office. Your belongings have been moved accordingly." The only thing the New Head Overseer could do was slump in her chair. Not again...

DMS Accepts Joint Project with Bycta Rocket Systems

[DEFENSE MANUFACTURING SERVICES CONFIDENTIAL REPORT]

El Paso, Mare Solis, Enkon - Defense Manufacturing Services (DMS) has accepted Bycta Rocket Systems' ambition of jointly designing & producing advanced missile systems based off battle-proven DMS designs, such as the Tornado Air-to-Air Missile.

SUGGESTIONS:

Design & Produce missiles systems that are universal to both missile-firing capabilities of each nation's military.
Suggests that all land-based missile combat testing should be conducted in Esperanza Missile Station, the Balaeric Islands. The installation has appropriate equipment & space to test the new missile systems.
In regards to testing these new missile systems on sea-based combat, DMS suggests both Solisian & Athretvars Navy to conduct joint naval exercises to test surface-to-surface & surface-to-air missiles. DMS suggests location of naval exercises, just northwest of Anthropolia. The reason for this, is the low appearance of commercial & civilian ships, compared to conducting military exercises in busy waters such as the Wicko Sea or the New Aegean Sea.
In regards to testing the newly developed air-to-air missiles, DMS also suggests that both Athretvars & Solisian aircraft test out the new equipment.

Yuri wakes up in his bed. Silk sheets and blankets cover him. His window is open and lets cold winter air from outside keep the place at a perfect temperature for Wolfen. He turns his head and expects to see his beautiful Dinakka sleeping but no trace of her is found. He gets up and rushes down stairs yelling “Dinakka! Dinakka? Where are you?” He goes up to his elite guard and asks him if he saw Dinakka. The guard told him that he saw her heading to the washroom earlier this morning. Yuri heads to the washroom in his quest to find his beloved.

He makes his way up the stairs. Yuri is still in his silk pyjamas. His tail comes out of a hole designed for Wolfen tails. He finds the washroom and sees Dinakka vomiting in the toilet. Yuri notices her stomach is a bit bigger then he recalls. He knows what this means. Dinakka is pregnant! Yuri helps her get up and he washes her snout with a wet cloth. They cuddle in a corner, hugging, smiling. They are perfect for eachother.

“You are pregnant” Yuri says while rubbing Dinakka’s belly. She looks up to him and smiles.

“From my estimations, I will be giving birth in 5 month’s.” Dinakka adds. The look on Yuri’s face is a mix of surprise and joy. His eyes filled with excitement

“How can we be sure?” Yuri responds

“I had a pregnancy test week and it was positive, I didn’t believe it until now. Look at my stomach! It is getting bigger and it has only been about 2 weeks!” She stops and just lays against Yuri’s shoulder.

“It’s time to sound the cannons. You are pregnant and I have to marry you by the end of the month if we follow Unibearian tradition.” Yuri says as he picks up Dinakka. She giggles as he goes down the stairs yelling “SOUND THE CANNONS! MY BELOVED IS PREGNANT!”

Bells ring as the entire garrison of Elite Wolf-Guard organize and setup in the Palace’s entrance plaza. Then the cannons fire.

The Mcnernians had fought hard for the city, the air was full of smoke as the Lord of Dragonborn was brought out and hauled into a MA9A2 and was driven away to the prison, the troops were quick to move around the countryside beyond the foreign city, the people turned out of their houses to watch columns of the McNernian Army to march in with bagpipes and their tanks and helicopters and others, the people would receive food aid and the medicine they needed, the people welcomed the soldiers hostily, the occupation had begun.

At first it was a McNernian Armed Forces Administrated Area, the people were going to be seeing the 57,000 strong Army occupation force for some time, the Wachan civil service had served the renegade lord of Dragonborn, the Consul so they would have to be eliminated for they could engage in resistance and terrorism against the occupation, the McNernians were here to stay in the north of Wacha.

General Action

The Mcnernian Forces were also present in other places, divisions were prepared along the border, the sound of men and women preparing for the battle ahead was heard by Wachan forces even as their comrades along the northern fronteir fell to the rifles of the Mcnernian Army, the McNernian Kingdom would expand across the continent, the end goal would be a port on the far sea. Vastness and power to feed an expanding population, while the southern Army prepared there were others who moved on the high seas to attack the Wacha and bring about the conquest of their land.

The Mcnernian Royal Air Force would be the first strike beyond the border, the Mc82 Illusions and Shadow Wolves were sent in, they were escorted by F-31s and carried bombs that would be dropped on the Wachan forces in a pre-emptive strike to take out the Wachan Air Forces and to secure a favorable advantage for their comrades on the ground, also it was to open a powerful Air-bridge into the interior to deploy Airborne forces to operate in the rear of the enemy.

SAS teams were on the ground soon enough, SOE deep cover operatives having chaced weapons in certain areas key to the conquest would take them out and commence assaults against the Wachan forces and then they would vanish leaving chaos in their wake as the McNernian Army advanced once their enemy had lost their air cover, the army would stop at the border of the wacha and who ever was beyond that, the McNernians began to advance.

Captain Commander Logi was pleased. Thus far the invasion had been going well. The countryside along the border of Nedea was relatively calm. Harmony pushed in without much problem. Capturing Liberty City was pretty tough though. Then he remembered the pony squad. He had yet to truly test them and he needed to soon!

"Captain Commander Logi!" Shouted a mercenary. "We have captured the city in its entirety, Teams following behind have begun the Nedification Process. What are our orders?"

The Captain Commander looked at the mercenary. "Get me Lieutenant Caramel, the head of the Equine Launchsquad. I need to speak with her."

Very shortly the pony arrived. "Yes Captain Commander Logi sir?"

"You did well. More than I had expected. Harmony is good to have you. But now I have a very special mission for your team. Think you can handle it?"

"Yes sir!"

"Very good. You see, there is a Wachan military base up ahead and they have encamped themselves. With the fall of the government they made themselves into a sort of pseudo-dictatorship, forcing the surrounding towns to pay tribute for protection. If your team can eliminate them we may be able to get the surrounding locals to support our cause by liberating them. Think your team is up for it?"

"Indeed sir we are."

"Excellent, All the details you need are in this Data Tablet. While your squad is taking out that military base, I will be taking the rest of Harmony around it and pushing towards our next target, Ivangrad. Good luck!"

The Captain Commander turns around and prepares to move. Caramel exits and heads out towards her squad. Could her squad really do this? Take out a whole military base? They had to, Harmony was testing their aptitude and this would surely prove they had it in them to fight.

"All right mercs, we finally have a job. And its kinda big so pack up and lets move out!"

Ensign Marcus Johns was standing in the main corridor of the Deep Space Damascus Weapons Testing Facility. He was gazing out the window at the enormous ship docked to the station. It had been docked for almost two months, it appeared as if the ship had been receiving upgrades, he saw mild modification for it as he stared. He was tired of security details for techies. He was extremely frustrated that he was standing around doing a POGs job, but he knew it was better him than someone else. He saw his tech that he was supposed to watch come out of the hallway that was off limit to anyone but techs. He began walking towards Melvin.

He was relieved he at least he didn't have a boring tech to watch. Melvin was a decent guy, and didn't bore him..not to much anyways. Johns began strolling towards him, he adjusted his holster as he approached the man reading his data-pad.

"Hey Melv, you gonna tell me what's going on with that ship?"

Melvin sighed as he looked up, he turned and began walking to the elevator. John jogged to catch up.

"Fine, but only in my room, If you'll stop pestering me and keep it to yourself."

"Yessir."

They took the elevator to the 7th floor up, and walked to hall C, room 67. Melvin swiped his card and opened the door. Johns pushed in behind him and closed the door.

"Want something?" Melvin asked.

"Unless you got a beer, you don't got anything I want." He responded as he took out an inconspicuous metal cylinder.

"Well I think you might like this..."

Melvin opened a cupboard and then pushed some cleaning supplies out of the way. Johns looked around the room and wolf whistled.

"You techies always get the best rooms."

"Yeah, us civs don't have to bunk in the barracks."

Johns heard a clink and looked over. Melvin had two glasses of an amber liquid. He peered around the man's lab coat to see the cuboard open and a bag of dark brown cubes behind a false back.

"Contraband whiskey, you truly are a genius Mel."

"You yourself are pretty ballsy." he said as he gestured to the tube.

"Well, you know, can't dip on station, and this isn't too hard to sneak in if you hide the parts right."

He picked up the cylinder and deeply inhaled from the small end. Melvin laughed.

"Coming up for air?"

Johns shot him a look and withdrew from the machine. He set it down and exhaled. A giant cloud followed suit. Melvin laughed and grabbed the glass that Melvin offered. He tossed him the device and Mel caught it. Mel took a quick puff and began to cough. He nearly dropped the glass putting it down. Johns laughed as he kicked back and sipped.

"Yeah, I have to make it really strong when I only get a couple times a day to use it, then I get back to the barracks and have to dismantle it."

Melvin continued to cough as he grabbed the data pad and slid it towards Johns. Johns swiped the screen.

"Everything you want to know is on there."

The pad beeped once. Loudly. Melvin grabbed it and began to speak to it.

"Sorry, AI security."

"No problem, what am I not allowed to see?"

"The search history, and extra locked stuff."

They both laughed as Johns began to read.

Johns nearly dropped the data pad. He set it down on the table. He set his hands on his lap as he turned his head to face Melvin. There was a pistol pointed straight at his face.

"Sr-36 45 caliber pistol with built in suppressor. Perfect weapon for a discreet, quiet kill. No exit wound if it makes contact with the neuro-link in the skull. That's what I'd use."

"For an ensign with no record before the service with the MSC, you know a lot about weapons."

"It's a hobby, per say."

Johns slid his hand that Melvin couldn't see towards his pistol.

"I figures Atlas-Corporation would come looking for the Carrier we requisitioned. I didn't know they'd send a special agent. I'm flattered."

Johns knocked the pistol from Melvin. He leaped up and tried to draw his pistol. Melvin hit the arm he was drawing with as he brought his knee up to the groin of his assailant. He grabbed his neck from below in the crook of his elbow. In one movement he brought his leg behind Johns' to gain more control and grabbed the pistol from Johns' holster. He put it to the back of the head of the agent and pulled the trigger. Little sound, no blood splatter. Perfect kill.

Melvin grabbed the pad and made a call as he retrieved his pistol. He grabbed the bag of whiskey cubes and headed to the door.

"Sorry pal, you read too much."

He opened the door and stopped. He peaked his head out and looked around. No one. He shrugged as he jogged back to the table and grabbed the silver device. He then left the room and passed a cleaning crew headed to the room he just left. He chuckled as he got into the elevator and headed toward the ship.

New Town-ships Completed, Added to Zaphiron
As the Empire reached the Zaphiron's maximum population cap today with the waves of people coming out of their cryogenic slumber, the first two projected town-ships were completed at just after 2:00 am this morning. They have been slated as additions to the city of Zaphiron, and the crowds watched as the ships set down just outside the city's limits. This raises the former population cap of 50 million to 100 million, the full amount of souls that were saved from the Great Extermination. The next set of 2 ships are also nearing completion, however officials say that they will not be added to Zaphiron. The Arbiter was unavailable for questions this morning, as he is getting ready to attend the Royal Wedding of King Yuri, leader of the UWK.

Ambassadors Arrive

Following a "diplomatic offensive" initiated by the Council of State, the ambassadors from several nations have arrived to fill embassies on the newly renovated Embassy Avenue. Ambassadors from Ajerrin, the UWK, Vvarden, the Carcipe Islands, New Santiago, Caisus, and Mare Solis will be filling up the seven embassies. The Councillor for Foreign Affairs has said that Foibenia will continue to seek the exchange of ambassadors with the rest of Enkon's nations, and hopes eventually to have representatives from all nations.

The Consul released a statement about the opening of the embassies, "As a neutral nation, we hope to provide an avenue for dialogue by having representatives from all nations here. The pacific settlement of disputes is one of our primary goals."

Foibenia Applies to GA

Following votes in the General Assembly and Senate, the Consul has officially applied for membership in the Global Alliance. Some have raised concerns that participation in the organization will draw Foibenia into conflict, and violates the Declaration of Neutrality. In response to this, the Council of State released the following statement.

"Foibenian membership in the Global Alliance can only serve to benefit world peace, and by extension domestic peace. Foibenia is part of Enkon, like it or not, and we have a role to play in securing the lofty goals of the Global Alliance."

Regardless of any "lofty goals," many people have been quick to point out the pragmatic advantages of joining. Foibenia is a small nation in a world of giants, and aligning ourselves with a large alliance will most likely benefit our national security.

The Trans-Unibearian Railway has been under construction for well over 2 years and the leader of the project, Hujor Komorev, has finaly stated that within 3 weeks, the entirety of the Railway would be finished. With the Railway now in functioning order most places, the Unibearian Railway service has started to put Trains in use to move resources, people, manufactured goods and such to help the economy. The Rail way goes to all the major cities and the large towns.

Rumour has it that the King is going to order the construction of the Trans-Unibearian Highway but this is just rumour.

The Free Countopian communist General formally surrendered to the GDC forces after a 1 month long siege of Duna. General Augusto Romeo, leader of FCCP’s military forces, signed a treaty of unconditional surrender, which proclaimed:

The Island of Oeston will be annexed to the GDC Region of Serton
The Isthmus of Ailburg will be annexed to the GDC Region of The Aeon Illuminate
All countryside 100Km south of New Elton and 100Km west of Duna will be either annexed or turned into a free nation according to referendum.
The entire peninsula of Enkouh (x2528), City of New Elton, and the City of Duna, will become part of a free nation, The Free Countropian Republic.
Communist parties will be barred from participating in the government
All Ex-Communist soldiers or party members will be sent to a POW camp for a term of 1 year and will be able to return home after a year.
The GDC will support the new Free Countropian Republic through military training, war repairs, and foreign aid for social services for the next 5 years.

Ravenci King overthrown
Ravencia collapsed last night after a series of anarchist riots caused the king to flee from the royal palace. The Ravenci military still holds the countryside but only pieces of the city of Windfell. The king sent a high priority distress call to the governor in Minerva. The governor was given immediate powers to put the king back on the throne. Units from the Cybran Expeditionary Corp were deployed to the border last night and this morning were sent into Ravenci borders. The Ravenci military welcomed the GDC forces and gave them high priority clearance to bypass all security checkpoints. The CEC is expected to arrive in the capital by tomorrow evening.

Formation of Protectorate announced
Midgar,46566- The Grand Duchy of Palmaro has officially been created from the former New Citopian lands. The Grand Duchy of Palmaro will be lead by the former Grand Duke of 46566 Lamont Cranston. While being a protectorate of 46566 the government has signed a treaty stating that should the Cranston family line die out that the territory would come under the direct rule of the USS. For signing the treaty the Grand Duchy was paid 500 billion euros. The USS will begin it's pull back and will leave 2 divisions to stay in the military base in the north west.
