Elder Henry Crane arriving in Sajalland

Sajalland - Elder Henry Crane of the Department of State has landed in Sajalland to meet with Pontiff Magas as well as other members of the Sajalland Government. Elder Crane hopes to work on trade, education, military, and cultural issues between the two nations. Elder Crane has stated that he believes that New Toola and Sajalland should become closer and he looks forward to meeting with Pontiff Magas.

Exhibit dedicated to first Chief Elder opened in New Toola

The most famous picture of Chief Elder Samuel Johnson during his inaugural address to the people of New Toola

New Toola - The New Toolan Government announced that it would be funding a new exhibit in the National History Museum of New Toola dedicated to Chief Elder Samuel Johnson who was the first Chief Elder in New Toola's modern history. Chief Elder Johnson ran the nation nearly 600 years ago. He was the man who helped found and create the Council of Elders. He is also known for spearheading a spiritual revival across the country. Many remnants of that act still reside in the nation to this day. The Chief Elder was known for his conservative views as well as his capitalist type of economy which would lay the foundations for the success of New Toola's current economic system. He was a well loved man and is one of New Toola's most famous and well known person in the country.

Thousands came to the National History Museum of New Toola in Napoli to see the new exhibit. The most important piece of the exhibit was the original portrait made the day after his inauguration. Museum officials have also stated that there may be more exhibits like this in the future.

Screams. Screams under us. In the walls around us. And then we awake, and find we were the ones screaming the whole time. This place is horrible. Many of the researchers have been complaining of nightmares and "ghosts". This place is cursed, but we are not done. General Samson has been most helpful. I pray that Tyvenia is truely as friendly as they claim. Some have been acting strange. Very strange indeed. We found some crystals the other day. Intricate affairs, they are clear with glowing multicolored veins running through it. They make we Caisans uneasy, as though they were somewhat hostile to our presense. It sounds insane, I know, but we all feel this way. Our distant kin seem... strange. Many have taken to keeping the crystals with them. The General is just as concerned as us. It only affects certain individuals, though more seem... for lack of a better word afflicted with this obsession by the day.

That missing Gilded Arrow is still missing. Poor girl, I met her only briefly. She seemed very intelligent. Hopefully she is safe. Somewhere...

General Ursus' hair blew in the breeze as he poked his head out of the jeep. It was one of many, a convoy full of mercenaries that Tobias himself bought with his immense fortune.
"How far are we?" He asked.
"We're up on the plateau, so we need to find a path down into the canyons." Tobias Cato said from inside the jeep.
"Then we have to drive the Blackfoots out. But since we have our mercenaries here, they'll be little trouble."
"Where do you expect the ruins to be?"
"If not on the surface," Tobias replied "Then maybe inside a cave or a tunnel leading inside."
"Alright. Here we go. We're coming up on the village now." Ursus warned. "Get ready."
The fleet of jeeps then pulled up outside the village, while many of the tribals inside the village looked at the foreign jeeps, almost magic to them. And before the tribals got weapons out to face this unknown threat, bullets poured from the roof mounted guns into the village. Tribals ran while mercenaries fired, torching houses and killing innocents. Then Ursus himself got out of the jeep, put on his mask and walked into the now burning village.
Half an hour later, when all resistance was crushed and the last remaining tribals were placed inside a hut, Ursus questioned the Chief.
He grabbed his hand around the Chief's throat and shouted in Blackfoot for the location of the cave.
The Chief immediately replied and Ursus and his mercs walked out, leaving the bound tribals inside.
"Burn down that hut. Board up all the doors and windows."
And he left, the light of the burning hut illuminating his mask as night came, and the screaming of the tribals marking Ursus as who he was, a murderer. Even Tobias beside him was shocked at Ursus' brutality, and he then feared himself more prisoner than companion.

The Emperor raised his head from the book that was given as a gift from one of the New Toolan ambassadors team that had left but a short time ago. He had been told that it was called the "Holy Bible", and that it told what one could term as the Story Of Beginning. The Emperor had found it an interesting read so far, enjoying the tales that wove from page to page. He looked to his other side, where a missive from Sajalland detailed several smaller international deals between governmental businesses and merchants for his perusal, as well as a copy of their own bible.

In all of his life before Enkon, he had seldom ever heard of such things as religion, faith, and piousness. As a whole, Imperials were a practical, mostly materialistic lot, and most don't truly care core such things. However, both Sajallani-Quazans and New Toolans have begun starting up branches of their respective churches within various parts of the Empire, and several arbiters have expressed concerns over the donations given to these organizations by the immigrants are slowly reducing their province incomes.

The Emperor put down the Christian bible and walked slowly in front of the window. His people hustled within and without the city of Zaphiron as they went on with their lives, and the Emperor sighed. He had heard from Lord Zaph that several projects from Weyrood and Aquinster were nearing completion, and soon the country would begin to gain a treasury surplus again. Settlers are ready to begin moving into the areas on the coast of the Southern Sea, and the war industries have become domesticated once more.

But even with all of this success, the Emperor still thought something was missing. That something, he supposed, would be religion. Never before had the Empire held any such beliefs, nor had they needed them, as they became the greatest power in their known space long before any introduction to religion had taken place. He supposed he could call on advisors within the country, but any such action would cause concern to the Council of Nobles, and especially to the more impious of the citizens. He knew that they would go along with it I'd be ordered it, but it wouldn't be the first time that an unpopular position caused the toppling of an Emperor. After a few hours of weighing pros and cons, he decided to invite, in secret, several religious figures within the Empire to meet with him at the palace set in a week in advance.

The sunset is setting before the cliff side balcony jutting off the edge of the villa. A small table sits tranquil in the fading sunlight. Two individuals sit across from one another at a small, highly polished oak table. The woman, wearing a plain white robe and wide sunhat watches the dusk as it sets. The man, his sharp features pointed downwards as he stirs his tea, gives him the appearance of a disinterested hawk.
“Twilight is my favorite time of day”, the woman says quietly, almost to herself.
The man smiles at this, and says as he takes a sip from the gold-rimmed porcelain cup, “Oh? Yet your family name is Dawnweaver. How peculiar.” He smiles to himself as he takes another sip.
The woman acknowledges his words with a gentle nod. Her eyes are drawn to the setting orb of deep yellow and the crimson horizon. She tilts her head nostalgically, her mind obviously off in the distance, somewhere past the setting sun.
“Have I ever told you of Caisus?”
The man raises one eyebrow, once more taking a sip of tea. “I do not know what you mean. I have been there many times.”
The sun is halfway below the horizon now, the crimson sky mixing with a brilliant orange.
Not turning her face from the sky, she slowly rotates herself to face Sir Perzi.
“I am referring to Paradise. Caisus is our word for paradise.” She slowly looks towards the sharp featured man.
“I do not believe you have, Aethra. Please, do continue.”
Beneath her mask, the High General smiles. Perzi had always been extremely polite and kind to her.
“It wasn’t Paradise.”
At this sentence, the Prime Minister of Cyrellican looks puzzled, and silently waits for an explaination.
“I haven’t told anyone this. No Caisan alive on Paradise has. But I feel I can trust you with our true history.” She turns herself in her chair to face Perzi straight on.
“The story begins in Dolara, the original capital. We Caisans, the caste from which all modern Caisans are descended, were many things, scholars, artists, authors, teachers, but those were not our main purpose. Our purpose was as bureaucrats. That is it. We were not leaders, we were bureaucrats. We were unimportant, merely cogs in a greater machine that was the Caisan Empire. Though we were all Caisan, there were castes.”
Perzi waits for a pause before asking, “What about your idea of humility?”
“That came from our service. In the last days, my people were the last to take up arms against the Consortium. They were the former military caste of the Empire. They rebelled. We could not stop them. If we had taken up arms sooner, we could have stopped them. Yet we did not. But we did end it. We were the ones that ignited the plasma weaponry in the atmosphere, destroying all life on Paradise. We did it to protect ourselves, to give us time to flee.” She looks to the ground. The sun was almost below the horizon now. “This is why we Caisans value humility. We know what it is like to serve. And what it is like to lose everything. And here we are now.”
They sat in silence for several minutes. The sun had set now, and they sit at the polished table seeing only by the light of the pale moon.
Slightly puzzled, Perzi responds, “It is not your fault, Aethra, nor is it your people’s. Clinging to the past, especially an event an ancient as that will merely make it difficult to look towards the future.” He leans towards her across the table. “I have enjoyed the time we have spent together over the past few years. We have much in common, and we value and enjoy the same things. And for that, I believe the time has come.”
Aethra awakens from her reflective revere barely comprehending the words spoken to her, and is surprised to find that Sir Perzi was holding the backs of her hands.
“Aethra Dawnweaver, High General of Caisus, will you marry me?”
Her response was instant and happy, her voice full of calm joy and appreciation.
“Oh Perzi, yes.”

Unibearian tanks of the 3rd Human tank regiment passing Through Tumov

Unibearian Troops enter Folosk

After the treaty was signed, which gave Folosk membership to the Imperial Bearian Dominion, the gates of the Unibearian wall opened and Unibearian trade was allowed to circulate into Folosk. The flags of Folosk were changed for the Flag of the Imperial Dominion and it's military became under Unibearian Control. 5 days after the treaty, 60 new seats were added in the General assembly (Imperial assembly) and 60 Foloskian representatives filled those seats. They were now part of the Imperial Dominion, and to celebrate this, 5 divisions of infantry and 2 armoured divisions entered Folosk to be permanently stationed. The former Foloskian Military (Which numbered some 4.5 million combat personnel) began a redeployment along with a Unibearian redeployment. To this, all current laws in Unibearia were now fully implemented in Folosk.

President Expresses Concern After Unibearian Troops Enter Folosk

After the recent occupation of nearby Folosk by the Wolfish Dominion, formerly Unibearia, President Derrik has made a speech expressing concern of the Wolfish Dominion.

The Wolfish Dominon seems to be expanding and encroaching ever closer to our borders. This I am worried about. Unibearia has proven in the past to be very militaristic and I am concerned that the Wolfish Dominion may even invade the lands of the tribals to the East which we as a nation have decided to leave alone to stop interfering with their lifestyle and customs. I am concerned that one day, the Wolfish Dominion might go further West, into our lands. Also, I think the new isolationist policies passed by their government will not work out well. Countless countries, many of which are still around have been multicultural and have not have their "heritage" and their customs wiped out. So I am concerned. We are heading down a path of which we cannot see the ending to. I will let you decide, citizens of Vvarden, when it comes to the next election on what to do and who to choose.

UTR Recalls Ambassadors from Across the Globe as Parliament Orders Reevaluation of Foreign Relations

MARIA - UTR ambassadors have been recalled from every nationstate across Enkon this evening after an emergency plenary session of the houses of parliament ordered an immediate reevaluation of the relations between the UTR and each other nationstate.

The move comes after the parliament also ordered a full cessation of all diplomatic, trade, and other interactions with those nationstates that refuse to recognize the United Realms as constituted by the thirteen technocratic realms upon Enkon.

Putting teeth into their order, the parliament also ordered the nationalization of all resources, assets, and institutions that have been provided by the UTR to service the general population of Enkon. The institutions will be restricted from providing any services to those nationstates that don’t recognize the sovereign right of the realms to be governed as they choose, specifically jointly as a federal union.

UNITED REALMS RESPECT FOR NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY & REEVALUATION OF FOREIGN RELATIONS ACT - RP Yr 2664

The Parliament of the United Realms concerned by the efforts of minor powers upon Enkon to disturb, disrupt and diminish the United Realms for their own benefit through the use of non-binding (OOC) regional legislation, does reaffirm that the United Technocratic Realms is a federal technocratic democracy constituted of the thirteen nationstates—Annibello, Anthropolia, Athretvari, Bodhisatvani, Harpantania, Hikuptah, Lennoxoro, Szarthja, Szkehnja, The Southern Arctics of Athretvari, Urartega, Vericritia, and Wicko.
The Parliament of the United Realms reaffirms that the individual realms that constitute the United Realms maintain their natural sovereign rights as nationstates to govern themselves in any manner they so choose without the interference of foreign powers, including to govern themselves jointly, without negative effect or negation of any of them, as a federal union with its seat of central administration and representation in Athretvari.
The Parliament of the United Realms reaffirms the natural sovereign rights of other nationstates to govern themselves in any manner they so choose without the interference of foreign powers, including to govern themselves jointly as a federal or similar type union.
The Parliament of the United Realms reaffirms the Five Principles of Peaceful Co-Existence, being—
Mutual respect for each nationstate's territorial integrity and sovereignty,
Mutual non-aggression,
Mutual non-interference in each nationstate's internal affairs,
Equality and mutual benefit in relations, and
Peaceful co-existence.
The Parliament of the United Realms orders the immediate reevaluation by the Federal Ministries of all relations and intercourse between the United Realms and every other nationstate upon Enkon, and to cease any and all relations and intercourse in the spheres of diplomacy, trade, military, and all other areas of (RP) interaction with those nationstates that do not recognize the United Realms as constituted in accordance with the first article of this act, or the natural rights of the several realms to self and joint governance as defined in the second article of this act.
The Parliament of the United Realms orders the immediate repatriation of any and all resources and assets provided by the United Realms toward institutions servicing the general population of Enkon, the same institutions are ordered to become state institutions of the United Realms and continuing to function under the direct authority thereof, and to provide services only to those nationstates that recognize the United Realms as constituted in accordance with the first article of this act, and the natural rights of the several realms to self and joint governance as defined in the second article of this act.
The Parliament of the United Realms orders this act to have immediate effect upon its publication and dissemination.

UTR Seizes RCO Offices as International Crisis Continues

MARIA - Federal Police Forces raided and seized the main offices of the former Regional Cartography Organization after the Realms Houses of Parliament, meeting in an emergency plenary session, passed the United Realms Cartography Organization Reauthorization Act - RP Yr 2664 which ordered the RP organization returned to UTR sovereignty and control.

Federal Police Forces move in before seizing the Auxiliary Technical Services offices of the former RCO in Galileo during simultaneous raids of the organization’s offices across the United Realms.

The legislation repatriates the RCO, an organization created by the UTR more than 500 years ago, as a new state institution, changing its name to the United Realms Cartography Organization (URCO). The legislation also restricts the organization to offering its services to nationstates recognizing the UTR as defined by the United Realms National Sovereignty & Reevaluation of Foreign Relations Act - RP Yr 2664.

Federal Police Forces did not comment on the surprise operation except to say that it complied with and was authorized by UTR law.

Flowers from a supportive Athretvar public lay before Federal Police Forces today as they defend roadblocks in central Maria, locking down access to the main offices of the RCO.

The new United Realms Cartography Organization will also be authorized to institute stiff fees and charges to recuperate any monies lost due to OOC or ICRP legislation to which the UTR is not a supporting signatory.

Whereas the Regional Cartography Organization is an RP only institution; being created in RP, existing solely to serve the RP, reflective only of RP, and having no OOC purpose or effect otherwise,
Whereas the Regional Cartography Organization was created and is maintained and improved solely by and with the real labor and treasure (monetary contribution) of Athretvari, the same nationstate being a constituent part of the United Realms,
The Houses of Parliament of the United Realms in plenary session order—
The Regional Cartography Organization and any and all assets associated therewith within the possession and control of the United Realms is repatriated together as a new state institution of the United Realms and governed solely by the laws thereof.
The Regional Cartography Organization is retitled to “United Realms Cartography Organization.”
The United Realms Cartography Organization shall comply with all United Realms laws during the execution of its duties, and shall service only those nationstates that recognize and respect the integrity of the whole United Realms in full strength as defined by the Respect for UTR National Sovereignty & Reevaluation of Foreign Relations Act - RP Yr 2664, and is prohibited from servicing those nationstates which do not recognize and respect the integrity of the whole United Realms in full strength as defined by the same act.
Should ever the United Realms be made unable, by OOC legislation or ICRP legislation to which the UTR is not a ratifying signatory, to deposit any revenues collected from the realms that constitute it as defined by the Respect for UTR National Sovereignty & Reevaluation of Foreign Relations Act - RP Yr 2664 or on their behalf, as is its natural right, or prevented from utilizing said revenues for any purpose of the United Realms desire, the United Realms Cartography Organization shall institute fees and charges such as to recuperate, as much as possible, any and all revenues lost or otherwise negatively affected by any such OOC or ICRP legislation.
The United Realms Cartography Organization shall publish any and all fees and charges instituted as per the preceding paragraph, in a timely manner, the same fees and charges taking effect immediately upon publication unless otherwise stated within the publication itself.
The Parliament of the United Realms orders this act to have immediate effect upon its publication and dissemination.

UTR Expands Paramilitary Operations into OOC Sphere with Raid on RMB Directorate Offices and Zeta Corporation Regional Headquarters in Maria

MARIA - In an expansion of operations against what officials in Maria are calling an unconstitutional and grotesque provocation by a radicalized OOC government against the greater interests and security of the United Realms, Federal Police Forces raided and seized the headquarters and technical offices of the RMB Directorate and telecommunications giant Zeta Corporation, placing them under the direct control and supervision of the United Realms Defense Forces Communications Department, Public Relations Division.

Said Kilhô Szygga, a spokesperson for the Federal Ministry of Administration in Maria, “The recent, unprovoked attacks against the United Realms by the OOC government and their subsequent actions to attempt to legislate RP parameters are clear violations of their governing mandate. Where and when the United Realms can take action to defend itself against these unconstitutional assaults, it will do so.”

Asked why the UTR would cross the sacred OOC-IC divide by taking paramilitary actions against the RMB Directorate and the Zeta Corporation, two OOC and IC services, Mr Kilhô said, “The divide was crossed by the OOC government in its unprovoked assaults against the UTR and its good character. The OOC government then proceeded to destroy that divide in violation of its mandate in an effort by its members to elevate themselves unnaturally by trying to ’equalize’ all the nationstates across Enkon as much as possible.”

Mr Kilhô further criticized the OOC government’s legislative proposal calling it “unconstitutional in process and subject.” He reiterated that the UTR would not recognize the legislation as binding upon the United Realms in any shape or form, and that the UTR would restrict its engagement, including trade and services, with nationstates that do not recognize it in full.

Mr Kilhô said, “Neither the United Realms nor any institution under its control will recognize any nationstate that does not recognize the UTR in full and with full strength.”

“As opposed to seeking a real compromise, one based on logic, realism, commonsense, and the greater interest of Enkon; instead, a complex and unrealistic set of arbitrary limits and allowances were cooked up out of the blue. A real compromise would have mimicked the UTR’s original proposal, which is written into the Regional Bank rules, to account for puppets by charging and requiring ever greater fees payable to a regional account based on the number of nationstates in an empire. Under the UTR’s original proposal it would have paid an incredible total of 12% of its combined GDP toward said regional account.”

MARIA - Brutally ending a caustic battle, UTR Federal Police Forces stormed into the main headquarters of the OOC headquarters in Maria and initiated what Maria called an action to address the issue of a complete lost of confidence and respect between the Foundership and the OOC government over the government's illegal actions culminating in it becoming openly aggressive toward the office of the Founder. The OOC succeeded in radicalizing a majority of active members a majority of which would drastically benefit from artifial, arbitrary and complex rules designed specifically to harm the United Realms. As a result the UTR initiated the complete disolution of the OOC community that they may be free to govern themselves as they so wish and desire without the burden of their former founder.

The United Realms Ministry of Information announced—

Whereas the Regional Founder has lost the confidence and respect of a majority of the active participants of the region, the New Coalition of Nations is dissolved effective immediately.
