With no reply from the Onocarcassan government, Dumbledore gave the invasion green light. In pairs, air superiority/multirole fighters and bombers took off all over the country. Almost the entire inventory of Luftflotte 5 was in the air within an hour of the invasion, ceaselessly striking enemy military structures, fortifications and anti-air defenses. A heavy artillery bombardment took place at the Colombian-Murovankan border aimed at dug in defenses, with the 2nd Army soon following in. Meanwhile in the south, the 1st Panzer Army crashed into Peru. In the north, the 2nd Panzer Army quickly assaulted Guyana and Suriname. Over a million soldiers, 3,000 tanks, more than 10,000 support vehicles and a few hundred aircraft smashed out of Murovankan borders at 3am in the morning.

***8 days later***

The Colombian air force had been completely destroyed. Preemptive air strikes onto runways, airports and storage facilities left most of the Colombian Air Force’ ~120 combat aircraft blown to smithereens or damaged beyond repair. On the ground, the armies were making significant progress. However, unknown to the Murovankans, the Colombians and Venezuelans had struck a secret military alliance, allowing each others troops to enter both countries. Their combined professional active units merged into an army with over 400,000 personnel. Reserve forces were hastily called up, quickly armed and immediately sent to guard the eastern and southern flanks.

As expected, II Panzer Corps had quickly rushed into Peru, reaching the Pacific Ocean within two days. They quickly stormed along the beach, occupying and defeating any resistance on the way. On the second day, they’d trapped around three Peruvian Divisions, and assaulted them with the help of the I Panzer Corps. The three Divisions surrendered before the next day. The II Panzer Corps then quickly turned toward their main objective-Ecuador-, launching a direct, frontal assault.

The III and IV Panzer Corps had quickly followed, rounding up and surrounding the remaining Peruvian Divisions before meeting up with II Panzer Corps. In the south, the Peruvians had mounted an offensive in an attempt to liberate their northern half; I Panzer Corps were sent to repel them.

By the end of the week, 1st Panzer Army had reached its objectives; the northern half of Peru and Ecuador were captured, and with minimal losses. They quickly regrouped on the Colombian southern border, ready to invade within 24 hours.

Unexpected strong resistance by the Colombian and Venezuelan armies had at first repelled the Murovankan troops, with both sides taking casualties. Close air support and a concentrated bombardment eventually pushed many Colombian units back, and after moderate fighting the first line of defense was beaten. Marder IFV’s quickly rushed through the gaps provided, leading the way into Colombian and Venezuelan territory. They’d been too cocky. The entire professional armies of both countries met them with force, and heavy casualties were taken in futile attempts to break it. Unsuitable weather prevented the air force from assaulting the strong dug in positions, which included a strong concentration of anti-tank and anti-aircraft weaponry. After a couple of days of heavy fighting, the 2nd Army was forced to retreat and regroup.

Then, the unexpected happened. A massive assault across the entire frontline was made of the combined forces of the Colombian-Venezuelan armies, pushing the 2nd Army back into Murovankan borders. The muddy terrain and another artillery bombardment managed to halt the offensive, allowing the 2nd Army to regroup. It was decided that not another assault would take place for the moment along those borders.

The 2nd Panzer Army had by far the easiest task. Hardly any deaths were recorded; most resistance had quickly surrendered. They immediately began to push into Venezuelan borders, encountering the first of the 500,000 strong reserve armies of the Colombians/Venezuelans.

As other nations in Asia try to expand, Quavv intends to limit this expansion. Quavv sends a naval fleet of 28 ships to secure the island country of Taiwan.


Meanwhile...in Iraq
Quavvian and Iranian forces are continuing to advance through the country. General Hassan Ahmed is riding his tank through the city streets with a bull horn. "Citizens of Iraq, we are not enemies. We have come to liberate you from the cluches of the BFU. We are now requesting your assistance in supplying our troops with food, water, and shelter, as it is the only way we can continue to assist you."

Local authorities convinced citizens to assist the Quavvian and Iranian forces with supplies and shelter during the invasion. Quavvian-Iranian forces were continuing to gain land and support in Iraq.

The Empire of Nyani recently received word that non-Africans had arrived on the cost of Somalia. Nyani was also notified about other countries in Asia and Europe seeking to establish colonies in Africa. The apes of Nyani thought back to the colonial period when Europeans first started to colonize Africa. Nyani did not want to see that happen again. The only way to keep the Empire of Nyani safe was to keep foreign powers out of the continent. The Nyanian government sent its foreign ambassador, Bambo Logomo, to the cost of Somalia along with several security guards.

The colonists were surprised to see a foreign ambassador coming to see them so soon. They asked him the question 'Welcome, Ambassador. What would you like to discuss with us?'

With central Europe under control Rentalla began looking elsewhere to spread her influence. The nation was in the early stages of making deals with several island communities in the Atlantic namely the Azores, Madeira, and Cape Verde.

Meanwhile there was trouble brewing in the Mediterranean. Fisherman from Sardinia and Sicily were beginning to come in conflict with fishermen from Tunisia. The Tunisian government was beginning to arm their fishermen, who were starting to attack foreign fishing vessels. Some groups had stopped fishing altogether, and were raiding fishing vessels of their catch. The Rentallan government deployed several warships to the Mediterranean, and ordered the Italian provincial navy to begin patrolling the area.

Elsewhere in the Mediterranean the islands of Crete and Cyprus asked for aid in case of an attack from BFU.

Fighting against Quavv was now fierce. Basra was where most of the fighting was taking place. Being that it was a major city in Iraq, meanwhile up north, the Iranian forces, paired with Quavv forces, were slowing pushing the BFUvian forces back to Baghdad. Just like Field Marshal Acedia ordered, the soldiers destroyed every piece of infrastructure and set fire to oil fields and bombarded them with artillery as they retreated.

Acedia had found out that terms were still being sorted out with the Balkan and other Middle Eastern countries, but that they would be done within a few days, after which, it would take a few weeks for the forces their to reach Iraq, some generals thought that they did not have enough time and should surrender while they had the time but Acedia refused. They would fight on unless the governor said otherwise.

On the front lines, Quavv missiles were raining down upon the BFU. In retaliation the BFU forces opened fire with their artillery.



At the same time, BFU paratroopers landed in Crete, intending to finish off the remaining Greek forces, after this, the final opposition in the Balkans would be eradicated. As the BFU had no intention of invading expanding any more into Europe.

The 12th,13th and 14th Mechanized divisions along with the 22nd,23rd and 24th BFUvian army corps pressed their attack on Tabriz, preceded by a huge artillery bombardment and bombing raid on the city, if they could take Tabriz the Quavv forces would divert their attention towards them, buying time for BFUvian forces to arrive

Astholm's Prime Minister Marc Lacroix had a long hard day, but he still had work to do.
He had decided he would try and claim South Africa, Egypt, Cape Verde, Taiwan, North Korea and add them to the "Territorie Belgique" which was slowly being built.

He sent this message to the government of Nyani:

We, the nation of Belgium, claim South Africa, Egypt, Cape Verde, Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal as our territories. Simply put, these are Belgian territories, not your land, we have a legitimate claim to them.

He then also sent this message to Rentalia's government:

We claim Cape Verde as a Belgian territory; this we have a legitimate claim to and would like to formally request that you negotiate that it be passed over to us; it is our land, our island nation.
This applies to Cyprus too; it is our territory too.

These were risky moves, but he hoped he could avoid war. However, Belgium did have legitimate claims to them, for complicated political, social and legal reasons.

We have no real desire to add Cyprus, or Cape Verde to our nation. In the case of Cyprus we are merely negotiating terms for military protection against BFU, and in the case of Cape Verde we are trying to extend the reach of our navy into the Atlantic. We will exclude any possibility of these areas becoming part of our republic under one condition. We are to be allowed to construct naval and air stations in these areas. The economic and strategic benefits to both of our nations would be extraordinary. We await your response.

In the Mediterranean a Rentallan naval vessel has come under attack from the Tunisian navy. While on patrol the Corvette RNV Chaser received a distress call from a fishing vessel under attack by Tunisian pirates. The Chaser pursued the vessel, and eventually caught it. The Tunisian ship had sent out its own distress call that was answered by a Tunisian warship. The Tunisian vessel fired several missiles at the Chaser. Two struck the vessel causing numerous casualties. The Tunisian government sent a message stating that rentalla had better learn from this experience, and that Tunisia claims all the waters between its coast and the national waters of Rentalla's Italian provinces. The government of Rentalla is treating this as an act of war.

In return we offer you military assistance with all of your colonial ventures in Africa. We would also agree with a joint administration of the eastern territories. We claim the Northern Cape, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Gauteng as our territories; these regions are of economic importance to us.
Madagascar is entirely yours; we have no desire or need to claim this nation. As for joint administration, this may require intense negotiation;
some of the Huguenot South Africans have been vocal about the issue of who should control South Africa, also the Indian South Africans in Cape
Town have stated they would rather see Cape Town come under our governance, than someone else's; the Indian Belgians were protesting today
about the issue outside government buildings in Brussels.

South Korea agrees to the alliance deal with Bluquse and is now holding a referendum. Meanwhile Taiwan feels threaten by the incoming naval fleet from Quavv. They send a message of uneasiness to Bluquse to aid them in case of attack. At the same time they order their military on guard in case things are to get worse. The government of Bluquse starts showing interest of establishing territory in Africa. But they first look to both Reunion and Mauritius islands due to them being isolated away from any turmoil from other continents. It'll serve as of their presence in the Indian ocean and already they have sent diplomats to both islands to discuss about joining. The government is still looking around Africa to see were they can claim territory if any other nations were to help them out.There also looking to establishing relations with Nyani if they agree. There are rumors of talks dealing with Cuba but it is unknown at this time. Meanwhile the Bluqusen government still awaits for Eemeria's reply.

We are not sure how to solve this problem but we may have already come up with one, only if you agree to it. If we do get Taiwan and North Korea to join us, we’ll establish open borders between our two countries. That way, gastarbeiters can freely move between our two countries without worries of travel fees and can spend more time with their families. We’ll also allow you to establish your businesses and presence within those two countries to further their economies. Claiming Taiwan may be harder than we thought because of a Quavv military presence nearby that threatens peace around our region. We ask with your help to claim Taiwan together.If you don't accept our deal, then we can further discuss about this issue.
