There is plenty of land ripe for the taking. We shall begin by claiming land here in Asia. Once the continent of Asia is ours, we will spread to the rest of the world."

President Robert Alterson reads the message. "Well, they want to establish embassy's with nations across the globe."
"Can they be trusted?" replies his Chief of Staff.
The President grins and sets down the piece of paper. "I wouldn't trust anyone with this kind of.. outlook on the world."
"So should we decline?"
"We are a young nation, the war for our independence took a toll on our economy. We may need to establish a system of trade with others nations. But we can't let foreign powers have any say in our confederacy."
"Will you support it?"
"Let the capital vote on it, if they will allow it so will I. Just be sure that they know the dangers."

We seek to ensure friendship between other nations and our own. We ask other states for assistance in acquiring the land of New Zealand as it has historically been part of our territory. We have already asked the prime minister of New Zealand if he would consider a union between our states and he has allowed his country a referendum on a union. The results shall soon be out. If it is a no vote, we shall consider other options of uniting our old territories together again.

Greetings leaders of the world! We wish you peace and good fortune and hope that we will not need to fight each other. Of course there may be a few warmongers about. But I hope these will be low in number

Near the Turkey-Syrian/Iraqi Border

Despite the BFU being quite a pacifist nation, the governor of Turkey wasted no time on getting his men on the Syrian-Iraqi borders. As he believed that they must expand or be overtaken by other nations. He had called an extra 2% of the population to fight. Which meant 4% of the population were now a part of the force to conquer Syria and Iraq but the governor, at the last minute, sent half of the force elsewhere...

The tanks, infantry and aircraft prepared to launch their assault and then, at 5PM in Turkish time, they crossed the borders. They hoped to take Syria and Iraq by surprise.

Meanwhile, the Ultima Class and Supremo Class Battleships set sail from a port in Constantinople (OOC: these are not like the pre WW2 battleships, for more info on what they are capable of and are like. See this link.)

The fleet set sail scanning for the Syrian Navy, which they would promptly destroy. Leaving them in control of the seas. At the same time, aicraft zoomed into Iraq and Syria to find and destroy their airforce.

Turkey- Bulgarian-Greek Border

Elsewhere, to the west, the other half of the army, which the governor had recently called from Syria and Iraq. Crossed the border into Bulgaria and Greece, which are predicted to fall in around a week.

Some other Supremo and Ultima Class Battleships also set sail, scanning for the Bulgarian and Greek navies. If they could take them out, they could starve the countries with a blockade.

A few airwings also took of at Istanbul and headed towards Greece and Bulgaria...

New Zealand has now voted to become incorporated as part of Blue Cross Island's territory.

The Eemerian people had finally announced that an agreement had been reached between the people of Ireland and the people of Ireland. The merge of the two countries had finally been reached and both nations are now sailing under the Eemerian flag. This will usher in a new era of peace and prosperity between the two island nations!

In other news, Spain has reached out to Eemeria due to the fact that their economy collapsed following a massive war. The Spanish people have asked Eemeria/Ireland to aid them in rebuilding their country in exchange for their agreement to join the Eemerian nation. The Eemerian council is holding a vote as to whether this is a feasible option for the people of Eemeria.

Along with those two great announcements the Eemerian/Marissian nations have formed an alliance due to their location within the European nations. We welcome any other nations seeking an alliance to join us as we form a new worldwide group to promote communication between nations!

After many days of fighting, Syria and Iraq finally capitulated to the awesome power of the BFU. Bulgaria also surrendered just minutes ago but Greek forces have fled to Crete which is currently being attacked by BFU Paratroopers.

Meanwhile, BFU forces continued on into Saudi Arabia, Israel and Palestine and is expected to take the three nations within a day or two. BFU forces in the west decided to attack Serbia, Albania and Romania but occupation of these nations is expected to take longer.

The BFU also sent an ultimatum to Iran demanding their immediate annexation, whether Iran will agree to this or not is unknown at this stage. The BFU also issued declarations of war to Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Oman, Quatar and Jordan. Effectively waging war against the entire Middle East. Due to this, an extra 1% of the BFU Population has been called up to serve in the military to quicken this invasion .

The BFUvian Prime Minister has strongly objected the actions of the governor of Turkey but needs government permission to remove the governor from his post

Official Formation Of The Eemerian Union!

Today Eemerian and Ireland leaders officially founded the EU today in a joint ceremony between the nations. The Ireland people agreed in a majority vote (of all voting citizens of Ireland) to join the EU. This will be followed by the introduction of Spain to the EU in the next few weeks as the EU supports them economically. Along with that it is said that EU delegates traveled to France to speak to them about joining the EU and the benefits which would follow.

The Quavvian government received word of a massive expansion effort by the country of BFU. "Mr. President, the government of BFU has declared war on the entire Middle East," said Zunshen Ruilee, Quavv's foreign Representative. "This may be a good opportunity for us to expand," said the President. "What did you have in mind?" asked Mohammad Kaizakatan, the Prime Minister of the capitol. "The Arabs, the Persians, the people of the Middle East. Those people are much like us," said Kazdan, "If we assist them in their fight against BFU, it may give us an opportunity to merge with them." "Sounds like a plan," said Zunshen, "I will contact the Middle Eastern governments and prepare our troops to head west."

Belgium is dealing with the issue of at least 100 illegal immigrants from Eemeria who have emigrated in over the past few weeks, and are seeking the Eemerian Government's help in dealing with the issue; apparently, 50 Spanish illegal workers were found by the Dutch border.

“This is BCCN, reporting from its headquarters in Terra (Tokyo), Bluquse. My name is Archer Rako and the woman besides me is my follow anchorwoman Serena Smith. Now Serena I’ve heard that you just got recent news of what’s happening in the world today.”

‘That’s right Arch, we just received new reports from the department of defense that they have detected some movement in Quavv that indicates that their moving to the edge of their borders. Some believe that this is a campaign for conquest after finding out several hours later that some of the military have just moved outside their borders. Some citizens have questioned whatever or not this is an act of aggression to Bluquse or other nations. But the minister of defense alongside other officials have said to the public that our nation is in no danger of any attack and aggression but they did say they will keep an eye out on this activity just to be sure. Now back to you, Archer.”

“Thinks Serena; The BACEA or the Bluqusen Aerospace Command and Exploration Agency for those who didn’t know the full name have recently come up with designs for Bluquse’s first lunar satellite which will be named Luna. It’s mission well be to map the lunar surface, research on its origins, its makeup and resources. It well orbit around the moon to do so to carry out its six month mission for man’s thirst for knowledge into the cosmos. Now that’s all we have to say tonight, this is BCCN. A middle age man had just sit down on a fancy chair around a big black table along with fifteen others and the president all sitting around to get ready for a meeting. The man cleared his throat before starting.

“As many of us know by now, a total of three nations have already heard our reply of peace to the world, now the question is… what is their response gentleman?”

A younger-looking man across him replied “We just got the reports of what the world’s responses are. Some are confused or distrusted. Others have positively and happily replied back to us and others are still thinking of a response back.”

A woman beside the guy replied “It’s such a shame that Quavv has refused to reply back.”

Hicks thought for a moment before replying back her “We all should know that not everybody has the same views as us.” Everyone turned to the president to hear. “We have to accept the fact that not all nations are going to accept our message.”

“But what about the CCR?” said another minster, everyone turned to him. “We had heard from them, but they’re still thinking of whatever or not they should establish relations with us, they would be thinking that we would be interfering with them after hearing such a message.”

Foreign minister Alan give thought to that question until saying to the guy. “Well they are a young nation. So it would be normal for such a country to be cautious to such messages.”

“He’s right, we’ll give the CCR a chance to think about it, it’s their right to think about it in the first place rather than force them to. That goes against the our very culture. The very reason why I've sent this message is so that we can have relations with other countries where we can depend on them for trade and aid and they can do the same for us in the future. I did this so that we can have variable allies in the future in case our nation is threaten or facing a natural disaster, to trade and to be friends with.
We’re a peaceful nation that believes that all peoples have rights to have different views and time to think about our message. Look at what we accomplished so far in a sort matter of time. We got at least one reply back from the Federal Republic of Eemeria who wishes to form a long lasting partnership with us. Heck we may have well gained a valuable trading partner on the other side of the planet as well and also they formed an alliance with a neighboring nation. Their seeking any other nations to form a new worldwide group to promote communication between nations. I believe that if we join them, it’ll give us the chance to trade with other countries, so I say a that we give the senate a vote for it and if it’s positive, then we’ll join.”

“That’s excellent sir, if the senate does vote for it, then I say a go for it. Agreed?”

“Agreed!” everyone in the room said out loud.

“But those aren't just the only messages so far, Hicks sir.” Alan replied to Hicks. “We've also got two more messages asking for peace and good fortune from the nations of Blue Cross Island (BCI) and BFU.”

The defense minster takes over from Alan “We got reports hours ago that New Zealand is having a referendum to join with BCI, our reports now say that they have voted to become incorporated into their territory and are now joined with them. We can surely say that they are most likely peaceful because of this peaceful method and may be a valuable ally in the southern hemisphere. But for BFU it’s a different story.”

Everyone in the room paid intention to him. “We've also got reports from BACEA that our satellites have pick up aggressive activities in the Middle East. Their military had launched an assault on surrounding countries. Within just a few days; Syria, Iraq, Bulgaria, Greece have already fallen under their occupation and are still expanding their territory. I’ll say that dispute asking the world for peace and prosperity. They are to be listed as a threat level 3 on our list."

“But that does not mean that we should not talk with them.” Said the Diplomacy minister. “We could just maybe be able to talk them out of it. We know there are some civil and human rights issues in the region, but the United Arab Emirates is like the economic heart of the region. If they attack or occupy them, it could hurt the region’s economy. It’ll take months if not years just to fully recover from it. I say that we should talk them out of attacking them, so that we could establish our presence peaceful within that country so we could create trade routes with it. Agreed?”

“Agreed!”

“I believe that’s it for our meeting.” The president then turns to his Secretary. “Send another response to the world about our main intentions, we’ll all work on it and have it ready in a few hours.”

The BFU swarmed Saudi Arabia. As Saudi troops fled in panic and retreated to their capital. A short artillery bombardment of the capital took place. Saudi Arabia sent a letter to the BFU which was a surrender. They would be annexed into the BFU later that day

Meanwhile in Israel and Palestine, the BFU's enemy was giving them a hard time but the BFU managed to break through and took Jerusalem afterwards.Israel and Palestine continue to fight against the invaders

Later in the day Kuwait, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, and United Arab Emirate forces banded together and assaulted BFU held Saudi Arabia, but after most of the BFU forces arrived in full strength, their attack was repulsed and BFU troops are now moving into Yemen,Oman and Qatar territory (meeting stiff resistance) . However United Arab Emirate forces managed to make some large gains and managed to liberate a sizeable amount of Saudi Arabia and are currently engaging advancing BFU forces in a massive battle which at the moment, is indecisive. To rectify this, 300,000 have been sent to the battlefield, which will hopefully push back the force of the United Arab Emirates. Lebanon and Jordan are now fighting with Palestinian and Israeli forces

Now the BFU is pressing their attack into the remaining Middle Eastern countries who dare stand against them. Iran also replied to the BFU's ultimatum with: "آوردن آن در" . Persian for "Bring it on". In response, the BFU tanks and 400,000 troops marched into Iranian territory but the Iranian army had already mobilised and is now engaging BFU forces

In the Balkans, Albania and most of Macedonia had fallen to the BFU. However, Romania and Serbia were putting up very strong resistance and the BFU troops had to initiate an enormous artillery bombardment to break their lines. The Serbs and Romanians were only pushed back 10 miles and continue to resist. The BFU Governor has sent 400 more tanks to help break through. Experts in the BFU believe that these reinforcements will break Romanian-Serb lines and force them to surrender (paired with a replacement of the generals on the western front as the current BFU generals there are of bad quality). But only time will tell.
