The Deadliest Warrior.....
Welcome to the Deadliest Warrior, this thread is the ultimate warrior on warrior showdown scenario thread you can find...I hope....anyways you may be thinking why I want to make this RP, and what is it all about? That is very simple, I wanted to give this type of thread another shot, to give it the chance that it never really attained, they always either died or never got anywhere, but I want to fix that, because there are a good way to build up your units if you think about it.
The rules and stipulations are simple, but in case you don't already know, let me make things easy and clear for any who wish to participate. Make sure to read every single point here, because it helps

1. Your warrior must be something thats infantry based, from a medieval knight from your ancient home land to a futuristic super soldier of a Galactic Imperium, it has to be a warrior that is specifically not mechanized (No tanks, no mechs, nothing.) however your warrior can be a machine obviously, so long as it qualifies for what is reasonably a true infantry unit, a real warrior.
2. Its your job to fill in as much as you can for your warrior, the more info I have, the more faithful I can be to them in the simulation. In the RP you can further do so with your experts, who will be involved with the testing of your weapons and armor. As well please note that you can only have one app at any given time unless I give you special permission, which might not happen, at least right away.
3. Ultimately I will decide who wins after the testing is done, but people who keep up with a match are free to discuss who they think will win, input is always helpful.
4. To avoid one upping, I will decide where a shot is placed, however I will be generous and reasonable, and if you call a shot the most I will do if I go against it will have it be a tad off. This goes to most projectile weaponry, specifically bows, and firearms, remember this is to keep things in order.
5. No noob behavior please, this means to make your warrior reasonable and to not make outlandish claims that would make a match impossible, or to have poor writing ability, and have at least a basic idea of how things die :|
6. How it could come up is questionable but still, no godmodding or metagaming or anything of that sort, leave it behind :|
7. Please use the coded app, like honestly, all the time people don't read these fucking things and just...ugh...I won't accept you if you don't use the code in order to place your app. As well when you are done with your app, remove the () and anything inside with your finished product.
The applications of each warrior is to be stored here, as well the first application for your app is in this section itself. If you require any help in understanding the application or something, don't hesitate to ask

When you make an application and it is accepted, your application will then be put into two different situations. If there is already a match between two made, then your warrior will be open for a challenger. If there is already a open challenge you shall be placed there, the first applicant will always be the latter, however there will be a possibility that the next applicant will also be a latter example, as the RP is separated by certain specific technological ages, each mirror your basic RP age in a way.
The technological ages were here to separate two warriors who could neither meet nor fairly combat each other to find the Deadliest Warrior between the two. An example of a mismatch (If you allow me to use something from popular culture real quick) is a Space Marine from Warhammer 40K going against a Spartan from 300; The Spartan is definitely a badass, capable of killing entire swaths of Persians and matching a Immortal in skill, however they are limited to crude physical shields, spears and primitive short swords, a Space Marines primary weapons include a fucking gun that basically shoots super grenades and are encased in armor that can very well tank them.
No matter how badass, not even a Spartan can stop a modern grenade, even the rather testosterone filled ones of 300, Captain Titus will blow poor Leonidas into gibs, and not even in a second...like before a second. As well we need to take into account that a Space marine is far above human capabilities, they are faster, stronger, and superior in reflexes. The basic point here is that we have to have some relevance, some fairness within the battle. So that Space Marine will instead face off against say...A Promethean Warrior-Servant, while that Spartan will face off against say, your average Imperial from the Elder Scrolls...no the Mages those Mages would screw all three mentioned warriors in like, seconds but anyways lets get on topic again
The general time tables are displayed within the match section of this OP. When a match is ready for being done, you will be allowed to send me specific details about what you will want. If you do I will send you an example of what I need, but basically all I need is your applications information. From there I will create the OP of the match, you will role play as your experts at times where it is appropriate, it should be pretty easy to understand what makes it reasonable for the IC. At the end of us role playing the testing and such, I shall then write the final post.
The final post will include the panel looking over the warriors weapons and which got the edge, as well as any X-Factors before the final simulation is done, in which I role play a battle between the two factions warriors. I RP the warriors fighting myself because it makes the match fare, quick and balanced, as well it is as the intro concludes, me which creates the final fight. I bet you can see why making sure I stay faithful is important now, because even though I will be generous by default, things that can save your warrior may very well be lost if not added to the app.
For some matches if I decide so, there will be a a Blood on the Sand, which is before the actual RP, this is just an overall thread made by me that is connected to me. Blood in the Sand will be two members of the panels review of the weapons going into the match, to have a basic idea of which weapon might win, this is just a basic review of what they know, and does not impact the actual RP, its there for a quick fun read.
What will happen however is that each match has a following "Podcast" situation, Deadliest Warrior: The Aftermath. This RP will have a host of the Aftermath, plus a member of the panel, and one of both players experts. This mean that one expert from both players will be there, any one of them, the entire RP is a basic questions and answers thing, it starts off rather normal, and when it is time to discuss answers, this will allow other players to submit questions that can be answered, so long as they are relevant, otherwise they won't be read

I will try it once for both of them to see if it is successful, otherwise they won't be continued....oh and I thank Little Lamplight and someone else for giving me an idea on how to formulate that application, I used an older DW app of mine and mixed it with a app of something they did for this threads application, give credit where credit is due
