Idk. The SecuraBots might switch to their angry avatars and start yelling xenophobic/anti-communist (default setting. Most were programmed in the McCarthyist period of 2240-2280) slurs at them. The Vanguards might sigh, curse the Oaledonians for doing the intimidation stuff on such a quiet Friday morning, and get their heavy ordnance ready, as regulation demands. Some of the low-ranking Army Corps border patrol volounteers might even throw an obscene gesture or two. The platoon of CLAWS mechs we have patrolling that section may spare a look in that direction, but probably nothing more. Nothing too extreme. It's comparable to a "damn kids and their rap music..." scenario.

Well, Lyttonwic is situated between and linked directly to Southwood and Nuremberg, both of which are controlled by the Murderists' foreign allies' militaries. Meanwhile, the closest Coalition-held territory is miles and miles away.

Not to mention, apathy towards an obvious scare tactic =/= ease of conquest. My troops are just tired of watching a wall all day. They want something to happen. Not a tease.
