I appreciate that there's a big degree of flexibility, hopping backwards and forwards in time, but what era are the bulk of RPs taking place in?

Our earliest RP was in 1869, our latest in 1930. both were dropped and abandoned. The majority seem to be between 1880 and 1910.

Although my application is of a Mesomerican inspired culture, i don't think it suits Oulen which seems to represent a more north american cultural zone, plus the large lakes add to much of the history and culture of my app

Gwentia is a largely wilderness area made up of swamps and dense forests, for centuries infested with bandits and escaped prisoners from the surrounding nations. Over time various small settlements were formed and then gradually grew as the years went on, but Gwentia remained a largely lawless area plagued by common scoundrels. Eventually a distinct group formed whom took to calling themselves Gwentians and were easily recognized by their short, wiry stature and their dark hair and eyes. Skilled in the ways of the woods and the swamps a small number of Gwentians plied their services as scouts and guides to whomever had the coin, but drew attention to this area previously viewed as lawless.

It took an attempt to annex the region by one of the surrounding nations that finally united the Gwentians as a people when their homes and their freedom was threatened. The Gwentians managed to defend their region by using traps, ambushes and knowledge of the local terrain to fight off greater and better armed enemies. A chain of events occurred that led to the founding of the Gwentian Free State, so named out of defiance as the Gwentian homeland still remains vulnerable. Though a few Gwentians have gone out into the greater world, however moving on the fringes and in the dregs of society where they are known as nomadic scoundrels as the legacy of their past still lingers.

7,200,000km is too big, I'd say, by the look of it your claim (which is good btw) would be about 1,000,000 square km, but your app is fine otherwise.

Reason Being VW1 is set in 1910, so RP'ing past that would be folly
