The Jimani High Council out of Verdemont, FD (Federal District), after due and careful deliberation, has decided to open the city of Principore to foreign embassies. The International Act (formerly bill 1138-a) makes it possible for foreign powers to lease land and buildings within the city, under certain regulations. This is discussed further below.
But first, some brief information on Jimanistan, and Principore itself. Jimanistan is a large nation of some nearly four billion people. It has spent the last half-century recovering from a lengthy civil war, and is only recently extending itself into foreign affairs.
Principore is an ancient port city, straddling the mouth of the Orim river, where it flows into the Pleasant Waters. Much of the old city is still in good order, however, the more modern areas contain most commercial and economic activity. The city is the pride of the nation, with shopping centers, skyscrapers, and extensive public transportation systems, including a series of train lines and bus stops.
The embassies in question shall be built along the waterfront, near the walls of the old city. Half a dozen embassy buildings have been built, each capable of accommodating a large embassy. To the east of these are several skyscrapers, each capable of quartering multiple smaller diplomatic retinues. Special arrangements are possible, however no promises can be made.
The guidelines for application are as follows:
Name of Nation:
National Executive (president, king, etc):
Name of Diplomat:
Diplomatic staff: (maximum of two hundred for larger embassies, maximum of 40 for the smaller)
Guard detail: (Maximum of 20 men. Small arms only. No exceptions. The city is well policed)
Preferred building: (Ambassadorial Building 1-6, or one of various office building)
Specific needs/requests: (Please, nothing absurd...)
We take these steps in the hopes that it will strengthen Jimanistans ties to the International community, and encourage mutual cooperation.
