All EI forces Heading for Poplar Terra-
Helicopters should await the jets to pass them. Op plan is this-
Helicopter launch division hits factory courtyard/tank ranks with cruise missile bombardment. up to 500 missiles authorised at this time.
Bombers and drones will use J-DAM munitions to take out remaining large resistance at and around factories. Escort will engage hostile air forces if in existence. If you see a flying blue pony, divert half of the Wolves to a personal escort. DO NOT ENGAGE ARCADIAN FORCES COMING FROM WEST.
Apaches will do a final ahead run, double back, and escort Stallions in for landing. One squad per factory, then repeat. Free as many ponies as you can. Lethal force authorized on any resistance.
Remaining munitions in bombers and drones will be placed under direct control of Sergeant Blitz, and none other. Return to fleet as munitions run out.
Free as many factories as possible, retreat if necessary, and leave most of the city to the other armies coming in. Watch who you engage.

Smoke obscures the water as each Phalanx-class battlecruiser ripple-fires 40 missiles, an overkill amount. They streak towards Poplar Terra at amazing speed, passing the Bombing force just a few miles out...

Meanwhile, back with the Lolderian troops...

Postby Lolder » Wed Dec 25, 2013 5:12 pm

Fredrick checked his HUD's countdown timer. One minute less than the last time he looked. The green 9:00 changed to a 8:59, then to a 8:58, and so on, as the countdown timer neared its conclusion. At 8:00, he went on a Chrome-wide frequency. "All units, check in." A variety of acknowledging responses came in through his earpiece, and he nodded and checked visually. Due to the miracles of combat integration technology, he was able to see the micro-camera's POV on every one of his troops helmet. Each one was in a concealed, sheltered position along each of the narrow passes leading into the world's smallest capital. Those weren't the only electronic eyes on the soon-to-be-battlefield, though.

When the green, digital digits in front of his eyes turned into 4:00, he said "alright, gimme the eye in the sky." The masked combat engineer next to him in the make-shift command bunker, nothing more than a trench with an overhang, passed him a field computer, which he placed on the empty ammo crate they were using as a table. The programs had just finished verifying, and the screen went black, then abruptly flicked on and showed the bird's-eye-view broadcast from a drone passing over the cloudy mountain peaks. Fred synced his HUD up to the computer, and 3:27 began counting down on the dirt-smeared screen. In red capital letters, CONNECTION ESTABLISHED, DRONE CONTROL ESTABLISHED flashed thrice, before it faded out to show the drone's perception of a dead apple tree. Outside the bunker, the hum of an L-30 drone was heard, the first scout from the Lolderian fleet, and the first of the support they had vectored. Not to far away, the radar on the drone could pick up 70 signatures approaching alarmingly fast.

2:00

Fredrick manipulated the drone he had been granted authority over to pass over the ranks of Lolderian troops. They could be seen only as the occasional glimpse of black Armour amid the hastily assembled trenches and firing positions. Fredrick needed accurate Intel as to the capabilities of his opponents. The Drone lurched froward, and began searching for those who sought out the Heartlanders.

Squeeheart's Capital: The Lolder Drone

The Lolder drone proceeded South to where the Poni invasion force is currently located. Amazingly, the Radian Empire's helicopters somehow missed it entirely. It is questionable whether the pilots had even seen it, if they even cared, or if they were really that blind. Either way, the helicopters resumed their task of opening fire on Squeeheart's homes, while the Lolder drone minds it's own business.

Over the mountain paths, the drone had a very clear view of what Squeeheart is up against: Nine divisions of strangely unique Poni-developed sonar technology, laser weapons, rocket launchers, anti-air vehicles, flamethrowers, flame tanks, lightly armored tanks for greater maneuverability, more attack helicopters, medical trucks, troops in blue hazmat armor...

There are also New Zepuha troops with their own uniforms and well-armored horses.

The numbers are just staggering! There is no way Squeeheart could ever take on these brutal waves. Squeeheart wouldn't even win if the red snow had never existed and everypony had a set of power armor.

The drone is interrupted however, as someone has spotted the machine. Poni troops begin firing their rockets at it.

Poplar Terra, Poni

Outside the Poni International Center, the docks have military forces marching all around. The Senator stares outside his window and watches as there is nothing better to do for the time being. Things are about to get interesting though...

BOOM! In a flash and a loud, shaking explosion, the patrols around the docks are wiped out in an instant, reduced to nothing just like that.

O'Reilly: They're here now... I need to seek shelter and-- The senator is intruded on by a Poni soldier, who has a shotgun pointed at O'Reilly. The soldier says, "We found out what you did," and pulls the trigger.

Economa finally sets foot on Poplar Terra here, and they proceed with storming the Poni International Center.

Over to the factories Economa also launches strikes. This time the troops are more prepared. They rollout their tanks and engage enemy fire. Helicopters also appear over the factories. Troops around the factories cheer at first until they notice not only are the transports flying over the enemies, but so too are the attack helicopters. Where are those forces going? The transports touch down in the neighborhoods and Arcadia troops burst out of their carriers. Without hesitation they demand all civilians to enter the University, warning them Economa Incorporated has no interest in taking them alive.

Back at the factories, the crossfire continued. During this fire a hole is blown wide open into one of the facilities. When this happens, everyone notices something blue suddenly dash into the damaged wall. No one on Poni's side knows what it was, but they can't be bothered with it. Economa ground troops are already beginning to push them back, but they don't get any further than the courtyard entrance for...

More explosions go off again. This time tomahawk missiles are striking the courtyards of the factories. Being caught off guard, Poni loses several casualties and chooses to retreat deeper into the city. This seemed like a good idea at first, until they encountered Arcadia forces. Poni's military is initially overjoyed to see them, but upon getting closer Arcadia opened fire on them. They couldn't believe it: Arcadia City is betraying the Empire! Economa's ground troops around the factories catch up with the remainder of the Poni military. Before Economa's soldiers opened fire once again, the Poni army is immediately throwing their weapons down, getting on their knees, and placing their hands behind their heads.

Over to the factories, Economa opened the doors and ventured inside. All over the place are Radian soldiers and workers who are pleading not to be shot. Apparently they were entirely unprepared for this. In a little while the pegasus ponies bursted out of the factory doors and whatever windows they could find, and proceeded to the skies to fight off the red clouds. Not all ponies made it out though: Some of the soldiers got into struggles with them and managed to place bullets into them. These same soldiers didn't last very long themselves though.

So Meanwhile
The Time Alliance Army
New Nod

The Time Alliance sat there as the two forces fought, but that was before the Red Snow had fallen. Once the Snow had fallen the Time Alliance's troops were forced to evacuate their tanks and jeeps and run into the buildings. 38 were lost due to the Red Snow. They mostly ran into one big building which just happened to be the City Hall. Which as luck would have it is where the Lesbian Gypsy was. With the Gypsy was in fact a military, well police force, but you can never really tell anymore.

Okay. That was very Confusing let me start over. The Time Alliance approached the people when the private who handed the Gypsy the map spotted her. He point her out to Blake. Blake smiled and approached her.
"So you are the Gypsy who gave us the map. I thank you."

The Gypsy turned towards Blake. Her face lit up as she was astounded by his kindness. "Thank you kind sir. I haven't seen or heard of a human in ages. Not since that last one arrived in that other country."

Blake Laughed. "That was me...." the Gypsy gave him a shocked look so Blake added "I'll explain later."

Blake walked over to his crew which was beginning to build a fire. As of now They were stuck here in the middle of winter with deadly snow falling all around them. Needless to say they weren't expecting this when they came into this battle. As far as the war was concerned as of right now, for the Time Alliance their was no world outside of the City of New Nod. Soon Hungered ravaged as the Soldiers invented clever ways to avoid the Red Snow in order to get food, water and tender to keep the fire going. It would be a long wait, but hopefully The Time Alliance could get back into this war. They had already helped their allies out some. At least that could be said for them.

Squeeheart
Airspace
Hellbolt Landing

There was a black blur through the air as fifteen oddly armored Pegasi darted through the air. They were like jets, though there was no turbine, this Power Armor was perhaps the sleekest in the Enclave too. Unlike the LAND-ASSAULT variant, the Hellbolt MULTI-PLATFORM was suited to a variety of combat situations, including flying. The squad were flying faster than normal, pushing their own limits. They all knew they were late, and that the General of the Enclave herself was waiting.

The Squad was high above Heartsquee, not below, nor above the cloud cover. The MULTI-PLATFORM Power Armor was a new model, an experimental model, and one of its funtions was Special Insertion. The Hellbolts were flying in the clouds, out of sight, out of mind. Captain Crossbones watched as the Capital raced near and spoke into his Comms, "This is Captain Crossbones, comrades! We approach our LZ, the Capital of Heartsquee. The Ground Pounders and General Howitzer already have an FOB set up and intel suggests that hostile forces are moving in. You all know the drill, make'em hurt! Long live the Enclave!"

The message was met with a chorus of 'Ourrahs' and 'Long live the Enclaves'. Crossbones smiled and keyed his mike into the FOB's radio, "This is Alpha Actual, we're ETA one minute out from the Capital, copy?"

A somewhat panicked female voice responded, "Copy that Alpha Actual, this is General Steel Howitzer, get here fast, we need all the help we can get."

"Roger that Ma'am, we're arriving now, Alpha Actual, out." Crossbones killed the channel and began to dive. The fourteen other Operators followed suit, and they began their descent to the Capital. The Fifteen all landed much to a smiling Howitzer's pleasing. She approached Crossbones, "It's good to see you Captain."

New Cloudsdale
Enclave Private War Room
Coordination of Special Weapons

President Hurricane glared at the two maps the brightly glared on the topographical holomap in front of him. Both individual maps were of Heartsquee and Poni respectively, with Friendly, and the last known location of hostile elements marked in green and red. By his side as ever, was Autumn Breeze, who looked troubled. President Hurricane still stood adamant however, glaring at the map. Autumn spoke, "Hurricane please, don't sink to Poni's level! You don't have to do this!"

Hurricane sighed, and spoke in a soft voice, "Autumn, please, let me be."

"We don't even know if the Parasprite Project will work! No tests have been conducted. It may be a fluke altogether!"

"Then we'll be field testing it now hm?"

Autumn groaned, "Hurricane, you know what I mean! At least let a Military Strategist plan the attacks, they'd be more conservative with the use of the Project, we can't waste all these bits!"

Hurricane shook his head, taking a seat in front of the table, "Not necessary Autumn. You know I spent eight years in the Enclave Air Service and fourteen in the Intelligence Offices. I'm capable."

Autumn sat down next to him, placing a hoof on his, "Please?"

Hurricane took a glance at her and frowned, "No, this has to happen. If Poni believes that the use of that ungodly Red Snow is okay, then the Enclave's little projects shouldn't be much trouble. There are worse projects. Salvage teams have found some very interesting research notes beneath the cloud cover in the ruins of Canterlot."

Autumn sighed, "Okay Hurricane."

Hurricane smiled timidly and began plotting attack sites.

"And all goes according to plan." Fredrick said as his drone was bombarded by massive firepower. As the screen flickered and the drone fell out of the air, Fred used its last moments to accomplish his ultimate goal. He had picked up this trick from another soldier. It had worked for him, and had been quite effective later. If its not broken, don't throw it out. As the drone was a few meters from crashing, its targeting laser flashed and pulsed, and every Lolderian military asset with a screen and a connection saw an area in the mountain get bathed in red. General Candace Taylor, who had sent the drone in the first place, was glad for the Intel. "All units, fire on marked area." She said over a fleet-wide communication channel. On a ship-wide frequency, she said "Rotate main guns 18 degrees and arm lumberjack torpedoes. That should be enough." As a last thought, she sent a message to their Economan allies:

Code: Select all
General Candace Taylor, Lolderian military, to General Addams, Economan military:
I'll make this brief: Basically, we have confirmed muster points for Radian forces, poised to attack Squueheart's capital. I've attached some co-ordinates and our battle grid to this message, so that you can lend us a hand in wiping those Radian troops off the face of the planet. Can I see those Tomahawk missiles in action, by any chance?

HIGH PRIORITY FIRING CODE
Alpha-Whiskey-Romeo-Bravo
AWRB
Alpha-Whiskey-Romeo-Bravo

All ships are to target mius Khoni attack fleet are to set targeting coordinates to Lolderan Mark.
Any ship that has the older BGM-109D Tommahawks with submunitions, fire at will. By the QUartermaster's log, there should be 75 of those fleetwide, indicated in your system as TLAM-D rather than TLAM-C. As we cannot use these for precision urban strikes, which this is not, The generals want them gone to make room for Block 4's. If secondary firing orders come through, use TLAM-C's of which there should be many. DO NOT US THE NEW TLAM Block IV's UNLESS SPECIFICALLY INSTRUCTED.

A mismatched grouping of hatches fire across the two separated groups of the fleet, as the oldest missiles fire from wherever they were placed. A total of 54 fire- It seems the Khonti fleet had a disproportionately large number. The main fleet is about 1100 kilometers southwest of the tree, making it just within range of the older model missiles. 48 will be there in a little over an hour. The closer group, at 900km, will hit with 6 about 15 minutes before. Midst the mess of the landing planes from the first run, four take off at the main fleet. A B-2 loaded with 80× 500 lb class bombs (Mk-82) mounted on Bomb Rack Assembly (BRA) This constituted most of the remaining stores of unguided munition, with the GBU-38's replacing them slowly. With slightly higher speeds but a brief delay, they'll arrive just after the first missiles hit and perform a run before the second group impacts. It's escorted by three F/A-70 PANTHER II's, which can hopefully help with enemy air.

Meanwhile, coming up the river toward the same location
The helicopters are low, really low to the water, in hopes of hiding from whatever enemies might be waiting. As the transmission arrive, the team leader makes an executive decision- Swing east, following that branch, and come around northwest, between the mountains, avoiding the marked area, and entering the capitol from the East. THere they can land the men while avoid the main battle zones, regroup and form a last line, while completing the original goal of helping the citizens, and ask HQ if the APaches should aggressively engage or hold back...

Heli Group 2 to HQ-
Taking a easterly course to avoid marked area. WIll approach from east-north-east, complete original goal. Engage forces acively?

HQ to Heli group Two-
Once landed, switch command of all but two apaches to Lolderian forces.

OOC: If you're up near Polar Island, you're about 600km from sea to the tree. The rest of the water is mostly between there and 1000, with some spot reach about 1400km. Make sure you take that into some consideration. Basically, My heli's will be there very soon, because they've been going for a while, most of my missiles will be there in a little over an hour, and the interceptors and bomber (actually held back by the speed of the B-2) will be there right before them, but after the first six missiles. Unless your missiles right now are supersonic...they're going to take a while too.

The Skies of Poni

With the pegasus ponies of Poplar Terra all released, the flyers can now assist Squeeheart in pushing the red clouds back to the West. The pegasi worked endlessly pushing those clouds with all their strength and time, with some ponies even sleeping on top of the clouds for much needed rest. Normally flying ponies in these numbers pushing entire storms into a very specific direction would attract a lot of attention, most notably from Poni military. To the luck of the pegasi however the military in the Northwest is far too focused on assaulting the mountains to divert their attention to these ponies. Southeast military forces didn't appear to have much going on for them aside moving further East. Despite being fully aware of their presence though, no one down below was opening fire. Why is that so if they have all the equipment to survive the red snow? Regardless, the work of the Winter Wingers go unbothered for now, and their progress continues.

Squeeheart's Defenses
Currently Nighttime

It is incredibly dark outside, with the only thing lighting up the night being that bioweapon snow still on the ground, lights from the vehicles, and the weapons fire from the armed forces fighting. The ground forces down below are taking some beatings from Squeeheart's allies, but it currently isn't helping much to stop them. In fact, Poni's army is almost through the Southwest entrance to Squeeheart's capital.

Up in the skies, several Poni squadrons are proceeding to fly right over Squeeheart's mountains, and with these include interceptors, fighter planes, bombers, but most notably are these coming from Twilight Fires...

Image

There are a total five of these strange new weapons from Poni's army, and they're being well backed up by interceptors. The majority of their weapons and armor are currently unknown, but they're flying rather low and they are clearly sonar weapons attached to the machines. Two of these saucers are moving to Maretown's location. The others are advancing to the capital city of Squeeheart. If any pony not wearing power armor happens to be within range of hearing those sonar weapons, they'll become submissive to Poni's reins until the aircraft are destroyed, or the ponies themselves...

Not all is in Poni's favor though: Aside from the Allies of Squeeheart standing by for assisting the ponies on the ground, the pegasi of Squeeheart are making a comeback, with the clouds that used to be above New Nod!

WARNING: RED SNOWSTORMS APPROACHING FROM NEW NOD
PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

Area Whiskey, Poni

Along the Seaquestrian River South of New Nod exists a secret base known as Area Whiskey. This base has had multiple purposes over the years, but these days it serves the following roles, roles Economa Incorporated's helicopters are finding out about now at safe distances from anti-air turrets:
1: Having secret weapons factories with unicorns inside. This would explain where the unicorns are going.
2: Having a massive concentration camp for earth ponies.
3: Having docks nearby for shipments.
4: Having a set of train tracks that make a big curve around and back to where the arriving cargo took off. Where do the tracks go though?

Regardless, this is unacceptable. The slave labor of all the earth ponies on the farms East of Poni where they can grow crops are one thing. Having slave pegasus ponies working in factories where they can reach places most humans normally can't is another thing. Having concentration camps far off from civilization for top secret military reasons? Well that's just too far off the edge of the building, isn't it?

New Nod, Poni.

Although it is dark outside and everyone should be sleeping, everyone can't sleep, and for a very good reason: Still functional spotlights are being used to survey the skies after people begin noticing the storms have stopped? Everyone is grabbing their binoculars and looking up to the skies as the spotlights reveal a very odd rainbow around the ends of the clouds. Nobody can believe their eyes; Not the humans of Poni, not the ponies of rebellion, and not even the soldiers of The Time Alliance: There are pegasus ponies pushing the clouds away from them.

The humans look around themselves. The destruction of New Nod is really all their fault, but the saving of them by pegasus ponies: Who's work is that? Is it the work of the Radian Empire, or the work of pony rebels? Of course because New Nod is uninformed, they begin quarrelling again. It is about this time the Time Alliance is getting pretty tired of this bullshit, and they are given no choice, but to intervene...

Enclave Cloudlands
Enclave Cloud Installation 1-1
Launching of Project 'Flesh Crawler'

The large military base built atop a massive cloud, the Installation itself also being made of clouds was silent. Only a single customized dropship sat in the runway, surrounded by six Ponies. The two most important, President Hurricane Winds and Vice President Autumn Breeze stood off to the side, speaking with a scientist as three Enclave Shadow Operatives in Hazmat Suits handled a trio of strange tanks. The Scientist stood shakily and looked flustered, often glancing back at the three containers. "President Hurricane, you're... you're you want to do this?"

The President nodded after a brief moment of hesitation, "Yes, Doctor, I'm sure."

"You've read the Dossier on the Project I hope, or at least the Testing Reports?"

"I've read both," Hurricane's eyes darkened.

The Scientist gulped and nodded, "Then you're familiar with the altered Parasprites purpose?"

Hurricane sighed, "Ugh, yes Doctor, quite so."

"I-I'm sorry, Mister President, just making sure you know what you're releasing beneath the clouds. We'll need Clean Up Teams afterwards for sure, that being the humane thing to do."

The President didn't seem to pay attention to that, "Absolutely," he said unattentively."

Autumn slugged him in the foreleg, and Hurricane snapped to attention, shooting her an apologetic glance. The Scientist was silent, "So, yes. Shadow Operators will fly above three target areas, marked by you, Mister President, and release the tanks of 'Necrosprites' on each of its respective targets. Am I right, Mister President."

"Quite so."

He nodded sadly, and turned back to the Shadow Operators, who had the three tanks hooked up by now. The President walked to the three, shaking hooves with each, "May Celestia have mercy on your souls."

The Commanding Officer of the three glanced at Hurricane, "We know what we signed up for Sir, we've dropped worse. Remember the Liberation Campaign."

The President's eyes widened a little and he nodded quickly, "I'm aware."

The Shadow Operator nodded and clambered into the cockpit of the Raptor Dropship. After a moment, it rose into the air, and dived beneath the clouds.

Thirty Minutes Later

The Raptor Dropship ripped through the clouds above Poni. It was night-time now, and the pilot, Agent Afterburner sat affixed at the controls. Below him was a sprawling city, New Nod he believed it was called. Strange, but that was humans for you. Afterburner checked his map. This was it, first dropsite. The Agent stopped the VTOL, letting it hover, and prepared the first tank.

It was a quick process, a flip of a switch and the press of a button. Afterburner flipped the switch with ease and glared at thw button. Here we go... Afterburner slammed the button and felt the Aircraft jolt up as the tank fell. Quickly, Afterburner joomed off as the tank fell, breaking open midair, as it was designed to do.

Out from the tank came a thin sheet of cute, little, spore like creatures that landed safely in the ground. They looked like any Parasprite save for the discoloration of the body and eyes, and the little tentacle like roots that dangled from the body. The body was now a maroon red, and the eyes a gleaming black. The little 'Necrosprites' pittered about, glancing at eachother and brandishing razorlike teeth. They then scurried off in all directions, looking for prey.

New Nod
The Time Alliance

Blake watched as the Humans and Ponies went back to Quarrelling. He like everyone else in The Time Alliance had seen the Pegasi push the clouds away. New Nod had been saved only so it could once again fall into chaos at the hands of the Humans and the Hooves of the Ponies. Blake knew it was time to put a stop to this. This city was only destroying itself. Why couldn't they work together in peace and Harmony. Why was this destruction happening? It seemed so unnatural to Blake's eyes. he had only twice in his past seen hatred between two groups like this. HE nodded at a soldier and the Soldier fired into the air causing everyone to stop fighting and look at Blake. Blake stepped towards the crowd.

"Everyone. Calm down. This quarrelling will get you no where. Trust me I have seen what fights like this can do. Years ago you may have heard of a man whom came to another nation. A nation which was just ponies. A nation ruled by a diarchy. Well I don't know if that empire has collapsed or what but it showed me that the only way to get things done is by working together as friends. You are not doing that. Look at you. Instead of fixing your town you fight and cause more pain and destruction. I say it is time to end this. Citizens of New Nod I tell you it is not your fault, but the fault of Your Governments spreading lies and propaganda. I Joined this war on the Side of Squeeheart but even Squeeheart's allies have not tried contacting us. We were left to fend for ourselves amongst your fair village. The Radian Empire of Poni started this war though. They should also have blame placed on them. well no longer. You must unite. Unite against the oppression of Poni and Unite against the Lies of Squeeheart and her allies. "

Blake Stepped into the crowd as the crowd began to lean closer to his words. "My Friends, DO YOU WANT Corruption to rule over this land? Do you want lies to be the winning side of this war. We are attempting as I speak to make contact with all squeehearts allies to figure out what they are currently doing. If they do not respond then it will just be us New Nod. BUT WE WILL STAND UP FOR OUR TRUTHS AND IDEALS! YOU MUST FIGHT FOR YOURSELVES!"

During this grand speech which would go down in history a message was being sent out.

Message to all allies of Squeeheart - MESSAGE RECIEVED- ECONOMA INCORPORATED
Please respond. This is the Time Alliance. - We read you loud and clear
Please tell us your current location and any current Operations or tactics you are employing.
THis is the EIS Thunderbolt, fleet leader. We are offshore with the main fleet near southern PONI, somewhere between an island and a grouping of two islands. This location has a large amount of aircraft, medical aid, and firepower. Two smaller fleets have split off- A destructive one heading for Polar island, to scout Khonti activity, and a special forces and medical one, between the southernmost island and land. We have minor forces deployed in field- Aircraft and troops trickling back from the liberation of Polar Terra, AWACS craft scouting the suspicious Area Whiskey, a small helicopter force at the Pony Capitol, and missiles and four jets on their way to combat PONI allied forces at the same location. We also have pilots and men ready to deploy to Area Whiskey as soon as the mechanics say it's a go on the equipment. You are also open to directing our strike capability. We invite a member/members of your force to the EIS Thunderbolt's tactical center to assist in operation direction. Over.

The Tree

"GO! GO! GO!"

Three active teams, six squads, stream out of the helicopter just barely hovering there, as men manning the miniguns sweep the area warily, and establish a makeshift perimeter in the nearly silent, red, village. The apaches circle, wary. Some men run to release the Chinook's main loads. The helicopters back off into the pass, and settle down for the moment. There are 12 Apaches, three CH-53K super stallions, and four Chinooks. Fuel tanks are topped off from one of the chinooks, adapted for that purpose. then they wait, for instructions from the squads.

One of the comms officers speaks into his short range radio on the Lolderian frequency.

"THis is an EI force, are there still Loderians here? Repeat, THis is an EI force, are there still Loderians here?"

He waits ten seconds before repeating the message.

Meanwhile, another officer winks on his external speakers.

"ANYBODY HOME! This is a Squeeheart Allied supporter! We have arms for you to take up, if there's anyone left!"

Troops spread out and begin to search around the village for any signs of habitation. Others prep the mines and C4 they carry, waiting for the order to rig up the passes into the area. Other still begin to unpack and load the launchers, weary of the sound of aircraft in the distance. Marksen take u positions in the rocks. A few even climb the tree.

Another comms officer calls the helicopters.

"Nobody to treat yet, so no need for the extra medics yet. Keep the stallions warm, in case we need to leave fast. awaiting contact with Loderians to transfer 8 apaches to them, keeping 4 for us. Keep 'em hot."

THe overall leader watches this hive of activity in the glowing snow, and glances at the countdown in the corner of his HUD-

38:45.162

"T-minus 38 and a half minutes to missile impact!" He broadcasts in the inter-helmet frequency

Helicopter carriers

The 18 stallions carrying three active teams from each ship return, with their escort, mostly intact. Two of the Apaches have semi-major small arms damage, half a dozen others have minor. One Super Stallion broke a landing leg. Three had one of their three miniguns jam. THe mechanics set to work on what they can. One man died, six were wounded minorly, and three majorly. Two are looking alright, one's iffy, according to the doctors on the hospital ship. The rest are weary, and several are bruised from hits to their armor. However, there's already more men prepping, for as soon as the mechanics give a green light and the replacement pilots are situated, they're to be dispatched to "Area WHiskey"

Two soldiers in Lolderian armor came sprinting into the village, seemingly materializing from the rocks. The duo lowered their weapons as they notice the Economan insignia on some of the helicopters. "Looks like reinforcements got here." Said Fredrick, to his companion. "Yep, but ours are still not here." Fredrick glanced at the other soldier, a satisfied grin beneath his visor. "3...2...1..." The countdown on his HUD disappeared and he could already hear the roar of engines. Descending from the cloud layer were 70 raven jump jets, their weapons deactivated in the presence of allies. A female voice came on over the radio. "This is Captain Amborse, Lolderian Armed Forces. Hope we aren't late." As the score of Lolderians who had been camped in the passes emerged into Squeeheart's capital, weapons dropping from limp hands in awe of the might of this micro-army, Fred broadcast to the lead jet "Nope, you're just in time. Speaking of which-" he turned to look down the passes, where the thunder of landing shells could be heard. "-we've already called in a naval strike. You've been tasked with eliminating Radian air power in the vicinity and keeping Squeeheart from destruction via air strike."

He walked over to the nearest Economan, and said "You're a sight for sore eyes. Happen to have choppers on standby? We have a city to get to." He brought up the orders he had just received to his newly-spacious HUD.

Lolderian fleet
General Taylor tried a third time. "New Nod recon detachments, please respond." For the third time, there was only silence. In the background was the sound of many vessels firing whatever adequately-ranged weapons they had into the general location of Ponian forces. It was only interrupted by the occasional sound of a cruise missile taking off. She had the idea of contacting relatively-fresh forces who could get the job done. "Let's hope they can hear me." She said as she composed the order.

Code: Select all
Time Alliance forces have been detected in New Nod. You and whatever assets you are able to acquire shall make contact and organize a joint assault against any Radian targets marked for destruction. Secondary objectives: locate recon teams in the vicinity of New Nod. We lost contact some bit ago.

The Economatian commander speaks to the Lolderian One.

"Henry Oldrich. I'm in charge of Economatian forces here. Though it doesn't look like we're too needed right now! This place seems pretty empty, seen any civies? I've asked permission to take my men, the incoming minor air support, and whoever you can spare towards Marestown. That still leaves you with 54 incoming tomahawks, in about....29 minutes...ones with disbursement heads. Hundreds of tiny bomblets per missile. All to the lazed area, though they can be given course correction, up to about 20 kilometers at this point. What little intel we have suggest many of the remaining ponies may be there. Damn, I never thought I'd say something like that! It's f***ing nice to see some friendly humans! Anyways, I can give you a Chinook no problem, and maybe, maybe, a super stallion instead. How about this. I'll give you a Super stallion-room for 37 troops max plus a bunch of equipment, and it's got three mounted miniguns, manned by the crew- and an Apache for escort, and you give me some extra men, and maybe a little bit of coverage, to help out at Marestown?"

Another soldier shouts out, "Hey! if any of you pansies wants a real weapon, we've got more missile launchers than we know what to do with over here! Javelins! Stingers! Mines! C4! Take two of these .50 Cal turrets! We've got almost a dozen pallets of equipments; even if we go to Marestown we can't use it all! Pallets 1-5 are all your! M19 and M21 Anti-vehicle mines. M16 Bounding Mines! CLaymores! M93 HORNET mines! Compressed Concertina wire! an RBS 70 with extra ammo! RPG-32! Set 'em up and they're yours!"

A third man turns on his speakers, and says this- "Hey, we got any Lol-der-ian demolition experts around? I've got a few ideas I'd like to get set up."

Bioweapon Detected from The Pegasus Enclave:
Necrosprites

NOTE ON NECROSPRITES: These creatures are similar to parasprites, but they feast upon living animals. Parasprites reproduce rapidly just like their normal variants, and never stop hungering for more. Necrosprites may also take possession of both human and pony corpses, but cannot reproduce again after doing so.

New Nod, Poni

The words from Blake after he ends his speech with, "You must fight for yourselves," have never been more true like what is about to happen. From the skies some strange box-like things break open right over New Nod, and necrosprites are released from it. The necrosprites waste no time at all charging towards humans and ponies in swarms and feasting upon their flesh. People are screaming as everyone is becoming deformed from these carnivorous abominations. A swarm almost strikes out against The Time Alliance forces. Not one Alliance soldier is killed from these demons fortunately for a familiar, and for once welcomed, sound goes off far into the distance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2a30--j37Q

The sirens of Poni are singing of war once more. The necrosprites are interested with this noise for some reason phenominal to them, and every single one takes off to the West...

Battlefield Around Squeeheart

The Poni divisions are playing that damn siren sound again. As soon as the siren blares, the three Poni leviathans moving North to Squeeheart are now splitting up. One is moving Northwest away from Squeeheart's capital. The other two are moving even further away and to the pegasi pushing the red clouds West. Also to the East is another large village of Squeeheart's: Neighside. If the leviathans reach those ponies, Neighside and the pegasus are going to be under the Empire's control in no time!

Down on the ground around the Southwest entrance to Squeeheart, the tanks are finally breaking down the barricades. Like a bunch of C4 placed against the barriers and then detonated, the whole obstacle was gone. The debris of it scattered all into the capital as tanks rolled in and proceeded firing upon the homes. Over to the middle and Southeast barricades, other tanks begin trying to tear down the walls. Behind all of these tanks of the first wave are flame tanks, ready to roll in when access is finally theirs and burn down the tree.

Some of Lolder and Economa's current weapons were indeed damaging ground forces and delaying progress, but it isn't enough. The first of nine divisions aren't even gone yet. The current red snowstorm over the battlefield is creating great delays though, so that's good for Squeeheart's allies. The capital village of Squeeheart has lost no civilians from the tanks breaking into the area, but that's because there's only two ponies left: Unicorn ponies Merry Yule and Peacekeep. Every other pony has either died already from the red snow, or they have taken the opportunity when they had the chance to ditch the village. By now the living former residents are now either in Maretown, Neighside, or Candlesville. Merry Yule is in the council chambers, where she has locked herself in. Peacekeep is seen sometimes by Lolder troops, but for the most part he is running around and keeping his distance from everyone. Why is he doing this? Nobody knows...

OOC: Information on Area Whiskey will be posted later, but this should be good for now.

"HOLY SHEEP! DID YOU GUYS LEAVE THOSE PASSES UNDEFENDED TO COME SAY HI?!!?!?!"

Forces scramble for cover, grabbing whatever heavy weapons they can and firing at will. The RPG-32's seem to be doing their job well at this short range, though the javelins and stingers are left abandoned. The Apaches sweep in under the cover of Lolderian jet cover, and engage the tanks, but quickly run out of hellfires and back off. Commander Oldrich's last action as a tank swiveled to face him was to glance at his HUD, noting the 2:07.353 time, and hit "redirect to current position" passing all warnings, hitting submit, and-Boom! The demolitions experts had only gotten a few passes rigged, and the mines stopped the first few, but the passes were too wide for that to work without more destruction. However, that's where the C4 came in....

"ALL FORCES! CLOSING PASSES 1 AND 2! FIRE IN THE HOLE!"

One of the passes didn't collapse too well, but the other tuned into a massive rock and snow slide.

It wasn't enough though. There were just too many. Even non-fatal wounds let in the Red SNow. THe Replacement EI commander sounded the all retreat signal on both Lolderian and Economatian channels, and marked the pass where the helicopters wait with almost two hundred seats and trained medical personnel. But the tanks were cutting the troops in two- not all could make it to the pass. 30-odd Economatian troops and a number of Lolderian forces were separated. A few, who had been in the process of entering the locked council chambers, switched to breaching rounds, blew it open, and shouted for Merry Yule to follow them. The makeshift EI leader for this group directs them all towards a cave opening, the one that unbeknownst to them led to Marestown. Hopefully Merry yule would follow and guide them.

Not very far out

*Foof* *Foof*
Approaching targeting range.
*Foof* *foof*
First missiles have released submunitions.
*foof*
Arming all weapons in bays. Opening doors.
*foof* *foof*
Bombs away!
80 500lb bombs fall out of the belly of the B-2, stretching across several passes and the beginning of the main town
*foof* *foof*
Begin Strafing run.
*foof* *foof*
The THree Interceptors train their 25mm guns across the line of flame tanks, supplemented with their internal payload, 20 air-to-ground missiles each.
*Foof*
Objective complete. Return to ship. Goddamn, does not look too good for our guys down there.

60 seconds later, the other 48 missiles release their payload of dozens of BLU-97/B Combined Effects Bomb submunitions, which usually peirce tank armor.

SUmmary-SOme passes blocked by rubble. Most forces ordered to retreat to heli's unless, Lolder does otherwise SOme seperated and heading towards caves. Bombing, gun, missiles runs complete. Tomahawks impact. Your and Lolder's move.

"Do you honestly think Lolderian spec. ops are that dumb?" Fredrick shouted over the din of battle. Overhead, a Raven jump-jet took a direct hit from a rocket and spun, flaming, into the Ponian forces below. With the rest of the jets faring no better, Fred had to call it. Pointing to his companion with one hand and firing into the Radian mass with the other, he yelled "mark it!" Nodding, every Lolderian troop within ear shot laid down a base of fire, allowing the combat engineer to poke his head out from beneath the wreckage of a ruined building, and take out his infantry lazer. Aiming very cautiously at the height of the blocked passes, a high-pitched whine was heard from his implement, and on the HUD of every Lolderian troop and aircraft in the area, a span of red could be seen on a small part of the pass-top. A single Raven broke away from its formation, braving the heavy fire from below to release a point blank stream of gunfire onto the designated area. As it shared the fate of its comrade, falling into the hoard below, the mortally injured pilot got to see the results of his effort.

The Explosive barrel he had shot detonated, causing a chain reaction along each of the passes and on the fields below. Spent shell casings, improvised explosives and whatever else that went BOOM that the Lolderians had placed exploded in a spectacular fashion, showering the battlefield in shrapnel and bathing it in waves of fire. More importantly, however, it showed that the AST had realized that their chances of holding the capital were slim-to-none against such overwhelming odds, and thus several smoke bombs activated, creating an obscuring screen, buying time for both the Lolderian and Economan retreat. The remaining troops from Lolder made an hidden dash to their waiting transports, lifting off in time to see what remained of the air group to break off into tight packs and pursue the suspicious looking craft that had exited the air space. A team of four Ravens guided the Economan air transport away from the Radian forces, and towards New Nod. Or Maretown, depending on the pilot's decision.

Fredrick's combat-engineer squad mate targeted the village for destruction before the hatch of the plane sealed the force off, the thunder of landing shells from newly aimed guns could be heard landing on Squeeheart's devastated capital; ever fainter, as the troops retreated.

THe pilot looks back at the mismatch grouping of whoever climbed aboard her CH-53K super stallion, as she takes off, miniguns sweeping from both sides and the rear to cover their takeoff. An Economation soldier is attempting to take a tally of who made it aboard, and which unit they belong to, along with with nation. As she gains altitude, a link pops up in her HUD. THe makeshift leader of the EI forces has made a decision.

"Tell the Lolderians we're willing to dispatch one heli towards New Nod, with an escort from them. The rest are to save whatever Ponies we can! We make course towards Marestown, by way of Neighside. Out."

THe pilot relays the message, and waits for a response.

One Chinook, the now near-empty fuel carrier, is hit by some stray munition, and spirals into the tree, where it bursts into flames. THe rest make it out of the pass, at least.

Poplar Terra, Poni

The first surprise provided to four Oceanians was that Poni was at legitimate risk of being blown to shreds. The second was that the International Center had a basement.

"This is a vacation." Vendredi paced across the compartment. "Can't they tell that? I came here to rest in a nicely placed hotel, without having to—"
The walls rattled suddenly, thrusting Vendredi to the floor. Looking up at the others, she glared. They were surprised by the unexpected motions, but remained in the positions they had been in. Levand and Lundi, siblings, shared a desk to sit on, and Lee was lying across an overturned filing cabinet with his eyes closed. Vendredi advanced on him.

"Get up!" she shouted, flipping the cabinet. It crashed to the ground with Lee and a clutter, and the others grew more alarmed by this than the walls shaking. Another explosive noise rang off in the distance, this time less so than the other, and Vendredi regained her composition before speaking again.

"It's not safe here."
Levand grew angry, seemingly. "Well no shit! Bombs firing off in the distance have a tendency to denote that."
"No," said Vendredi. "It's not that, the building." Her gaze caught Lundi's, whom put Vendredi's thoughts to words.
"If there's something happening a few miles away, something is going to happen here, too. If we're not out by the time they open fire." Her intonation rose but the speech trailed off. They had no emphasis given to it, the ambiguity of the implications was ever present. The warning of looming war had been sparse for the tourists, leaving them particularly unaware as to who was attacking whom.

Lee spoke. "We should go, then." Levand and Vendredi nodded in agreement.
"We'll use the stairs we came down on, from there through the lobby-hall place, and then take the back door?" suggested Levand.
"There's a back door?" Third surprise.

The fourth was imminent.
