The soldiers quickly set up tents and shelter. Some soldiers get ready for a special attack while others drink water from the treacherous day. We have decided to stay in a grand duchy city in case of an attack.

Suddenly ahead of him four Farendale ships were spotting turning to combat. "Take cover!" yelled Hansel as he ducked behind the wheel while keeping one hand on it. Among the crashing of the waves in the distance echoed the familiar scream of cannon fire. Musket balls reached the Birtonian fleet first and ripped through sails, splintering railing and tagging a few Birtonian marines. Shortly after, the cannon balls hit, terrible crashing noises were soon drowned out by the screaming wounded and dying. George stood up and took in the damage on his own flagship, minimal damage, acceptable casualties "hard to port!" he screamed up at the ship liason in the top mast. Two long whistle blasts echoed, followed by an order to open fire.

The frigates formed a battle line and subsequently gave the enemy ships a full broadside of 28 cannons each, save for the flagship which sent a robust 32 shots. The single mortar ship at the rear fired off three rounds, not intending to sink anything but instead to strike fear into the heart of the enemy sailors.

The 3 small Farendite Navy ships, 16 cannons each, continue to open fire upon the Birtonian naval vessels. Cannons bombard the fleet as fast as their RPM can permit. On the decks, 11 Farendite Regulars open fire upon enemy sailors and troops that they could aim on. Royal Guard (Elite Infantry) marksmen aim down from the masts while grapeshot cannons also fire from the masts. Captain Philip Watkins gives the order to give no mercy, kill as many as possible, then every man for himself as soon as the ship is halfway sunk.

Within a few short minutes the battle was over. A fine victory for the Birtonian Navy! Though there were heavy losses on the Birtonian ships, several Marines and Sailors were being tended too by the ship carpenters whilst other merely lay dead on the decks. Extensive damage was done to the hulls and sails, so some proper repairs were to be made if the fleet was to survive a battle with more ships. "Aye lads! board the sinking mass, take what you can and fish those Farendite dogs out of the water, we do have doctrine to adhere too!" ordered Hansel, with several grumbles of discontent as a reply.

A fleet of 23 naval ships has been prepared from Nordheim to intercept the Birtonians in the Southern Farendite Sea. The fleet includes the flagship of the Farendite navy, the FNS Broulden, a 64 gun gigantic naval vessel. On each ship are Farendite Royal Guard (Elite Infantry) and they are excellent marksmen.

2500 Absurranian line infantrymen stood behind the sandbags, spread into rows of 2 along the entire line as they watched the approaching 3,000 soldiers approach.
"Present Arm!" barked Captain Yorkub
The men un shouldered their weapons
"Take aim!"
The first row got on their knees, resting their muskets on the sandbags and taking aim. The men of the second row took aim standing.
The aristocratic soldiers continued to advance before finally halting.
"Open Fire!"
2500 muskets opened fire on the enemy lines, delivering 2500 musket balls into the flesh of the enemy. Soon, the aristocratic forces returned fire.
"Fire cannons! Infantrymen fire at will!" roared Yorkub over the battlefield. An officer next to him rode to the cannon line, giving the orders to fire. Just as he relayed the message, enemy cannonballs began to hit the infantrymen, punching major holes into their defensive lines and thinning them out. Their earlier advantage was now lost.
As the cannons and muskets roared, the men groaned as they took wounds, and the stench of death began to enter his nose, Captain Yorkub thoughtOur advantage of cover and surprise is lost. The enemy outnumbers us and are holding up on both sides of their flanks. This battle is now up to the men.
He sighed as it raged on.

Fort Dreadrock, Farendale

Major General Karl Blake VI of the United Grand Duchy forces leads 500 Mounted Cavalry, 600 Infantry, and 17 Nobles to take nearby Fort Dreadlock. It is a small fortification strategic in controlling the only river in Parek County. 30 Farendite Regulars, 5 Mounted Cavalry, and 25 pieces of artillery are stationed as garrison to Fort Dreadlock. Soon the UGD forces surround the fort and demand surrender, also moving in circles around the fort to make their large forces seem even larger. Lieutenant Derrick Clark hands over his sword to Major General Karl Blake VI, and surrenders the fort. The Farendite flag is shot at, torn down, burned, and replaced by the UGD flag. The UGD captures the fort without a shot.

General George Rooke commands 480 Farendite Regulars, 200 Light Dragoons, 100 Heavy Cavalry, 6 12-lbers, and 300 Royal Guard (Elite Infantry) with an assault from the south. From the north comes the hired mercenaries, which is 950 Infantry and 50 Light Cavalry. On the ridge is 9 24-lbers and 30 Royal Guard (Elite Infantry) snipers.

"Hold your ground! Stay steady!" yelled Yorkub as his men took a thrashing. They were still outnumbered, and had no shelter from the hideous cannon fire coming their way. The battle had been raging for clean over an hour, and neither side had budged. The aristocratic forces had more men, and it was only a matter of time before they charged and swept aside the Absurranians. Unless they charged first.
It's too risky thought Captain Yorkub.
But if I don't do something, we'll lose this battle.
"Bayonets forward! Charge!" he roared
The men responded as soon as he barked out the order, fully away this could be a crushing defeat. The entire front moved forward, attacking the enemy from three sides(troops were in a \_/ formation, as I said before). The cannon fire stopped as the two sides merged with one another, muskets fired at point blank, bayonets thrust, swords swung.
