The Imeriatian soldier moved forward, General Girf waited for the perfect moment. He lept up and elbowed the private, breaking his nose. He grabbed his head in such a fashion that should he move sharply he would break his neck. He grasped the Private's silenced weapon in his other hand.

'Let me by and he will live, And give me your radio I would very much like to find out who you work for.' The General said
He backed out of the hallways and up the stairs, what few Venezuean soldiers remained in the capital saw the monumental occasion that un-folded in front of them. General Grif raised the flag of Venezue above the remains of the capital building, he had sealed the underground facility and would get Martilian forces to arrest the impersonators. He walked through the streets as an ever growing crowd of soldiers and survivors gathered in his footsteps, they paused and the dictator produced the radio he had taken from his captive.

'Hello?' He said
'Go ahead' The communicator replied
'Martilian command?'
'Yes, go ahead'
'This is General Grif, I need a unit at the government bunker to arrest a squad of traitors, and an armed escort. Thank you'

The General ordered his forces to set up a perimeter. They waited for Martilia to send allied forces.
Soon, he would find out who tried to assassinate him and would regain his wasteland of a nation.

Kalkonov City - Office of the Military Governor of the Grifziek Region (Several Hours after the attack on the Venezuean bunker)

It was a normal night for Field Marshall Tatsukov, he was resting as the day come to an end....or not. A man came rushing down on his office, and quickly dropped an envelope containing confidential papers. The man quickly saluted after he put the envelope on the table. "What is this??", Tatsukov asked the man.

"Sir, this is the message from the capital of Venezue several hours ago. Please read it ASAP", the man replied. He quickly left the room and only Tatsukov remained inside. He opened the envelop which contains messages from the capital, and even startled when a band of Martilian uniformed squads was able to infiltrate on the border, and for the worst, these people shot the former leader of the once mighty Venezue. Tatsukov, who was enraged, quickly called the commanders of different armies on the Grifziek region, stating a DEFCON 3.

ALL FORCES WITHIN THE GRIFZIEK REGION WILL BE MOBILIZED!! EMERGENCY ACTION NEEDED!! ALL SHIPS AND AIRCRAFT REMAIN ON STANDBY!! DEFCON 3 INITIATED!! ALL TROOPS TAKE POSITIONS!! WE'RE POSSIBLY GOING INTO WAR

Tatsukov, still remained calm and prevent any stupid moves that might cripple the peace talks between him and representatives from the Northern Venezue. Also, in a coincidence, he will be relieved by another high-ranking Martilian commander as the Military Governor and Supreme Commander of the Soviet Martilian Expeditionary Force to Venezue. Tatsukov also contacted the communications division to send low-frequency waves on to the capital to deliver their message to Grif, since the capital was dropped by an EMP

The General listened intently to the message. 'Looks like we are on our own' He gathered his rag-tag bunch of soldiers and began the long process of reclaiming his nation. He would need to get to Martilian Venezue's capital first.

In the Imeriatan military garrison in Northern Venezue it was chaos, as the life signs of the troopers in Southern Venezue had just terminated so everyone know they were dead, however if they had managed to kill the former general was still highly debated. So they acted on the premise that they had been captured and tortured to reveal everything (a fact that seemed highly likely as their spies in southern Venezue had reported that the Martilian army was being battle readied). So as a simple precaution both the royal guards and the duke’s armed forces were readied to be sent to the fortifications on the border whit a moment’s notice. Also telegrams were sent to Imeriata requesting more men, which were granted and another force conceiting of 400 000 infantry, another 5 attack wings, an force consisting of an additional 400 tanks and more equipment as missiles, ammunition, mines, tools, administrative personal and food and water. Also a message was sent to Martilias high command.

Point one: all communists in the Northern Venezue who wants to leave for Grifziek will be allowed to do so and all fascists, conservative and capitalists in Grifziek who wants to leave for Northern Venezue will be allowed to do so.

OPERATION WILD WEASEL

As the entire Martilian armed forces on the Grifziek region is being mobilized, the tensions on the borders are getting high, between the Martilian forces and Imeriatan forces. Meanwhile, inside the Grifziek Region, Martilian defense are on online and currently on high alert. Also, the SFGB Division in Grifziek are currently trying to mole out spies from the external nations. Currently, around 240 people we're arrested by the SFGB (Soviet State Security Agency), with being suspected for spying or espionage. Meanwhile, Field Marshall Tatsukov was relieved by Grand Field Marshall Anton Kirvek as the commander of the Soviet Martilian Expeditionary Force to Venezue, and Military Governor of the Grifziek Region.

GFM Anton Kirvek quickly pushed into a Regional DEFCON 2, meaning that a war will be imminent, but the talks will still continue, with Field Marshall Tatsukov being the representative of Martilia to the treaty. Meanwhile GFM Kirvek received the treaty proposed by the Imeriatans to Martilia. He quickly send a message back.

Outside the grounds of the Martilian controled capital of Venezue the General and his crowd marched up the streets toward the government building. Several Martilian guards aimed and prepared to fire, the General walked up to one of the soldiers and spoke.

'I must see your leader'
'No, whoever you are you are a great security risk; leave and we will not fire.' The soldier replied
'I have heard that already today' The dictator said brandishing his gun wounds. 'I am General Grif, the leader of the people of Venezue'
Quickly the soldier produced his hand radio.
'Martilian command this is exterior patrol 14, we have a man with gun wounds claiming to be General Grif. How should we act?'
The General and his mob waited patiently for the Martilian leader's reply...

The Emperor's state visit went well. His speech was incredibly well recieved by the Venuzeans, even though their were some issues with pro-communist protestors- all of which were dealt with fairly lightly, with not a single execution, despite Tyrannian procedure, as an allowance due to Tyrannic Venezue's recent entry into the Empire. The Emperor's speech was undeniably well thought out;
"Friends, Tyrannians, and people of Venezue. I come to you in a time of triumph; we have rescued you from death's grasp, and you have been granted a second chance in life! Surely this is worth celebrating! And what's more, I seem to feel a great speech coming on, so in the name of the Empire, listen to me! I see you before me in rags, a once proud people. We must ensure that you are made proud once more! We must make you strong, so that the Communists over the border will fear you!"
This promted cheers from some of the crowds, mumbling and booing from the others. Happily, it was mostly mumbling, better at least than groaning and booing.
"I see you still are not completely convinced of Communism's evils? Then let me tell you the truth! Communism sounds perfect. But it is not. Communism will always be corrupt, as any Political ideology. But Fascism offers the truth; it is not corrupt or evil, but truthful. It shows the world as it is, and tries to make it's followers ready for it. Is this so wrong?
"I promise you the truth, and so here it is; we have discovered that your former oppressor is alive! We must, of course, have him seized and brought before us, that we can ensure his fate is decided fairly by those whom he made suffer! Cheers rose from the crowd; some glad that the tyrant would soon be dead, others glad that the Tyrannians intended him a fair trial. Some were doubtful how truthful this claim was, but nonetheless, the cheers of the crowd went on...

“It is celebrations in the capital of Wien today as the people of Northern Venezue takes to the streets to celebrate that for one week ago we were liberated from the clutches of communism thanks to the valiance and sacrifice of the troopers of the Imeriatan royal guard.” A man said, his accent was clearly one from Austria but he wore a tunic and a pair of tight pants as Imeriatans usually did. “so to celebrate the occasion our heroic duke have decided to build a statue here outside the new capital building in Wien” he went on as groups off peoples went by and many stooped and waved to the cameras as they realized that they were on national television. “Behind me you can see that the monument is covered but it will be uncovered later and we will send you the footage right after this” and the screen blackened as it went to commercials.

As the last commercial stooped the television was once more viewing the town square this time however there was no reporter in the picture it was wholly concentrated on a stage with the massive monument behind. On the stage a man dressed in an expensive looking tunic with an equally expensive looking pair of pants, he was clearly one of the new local nobles that the Imeriatans had given some of the power in the nation and two men dressed in the uniforms of the newly formed “the dukes armed forces”. He opened his mouth and his voice rung out over the assembled masses amplified by a pair of loudspeakers “It is my honor to uncover this monument that represents so much; our new freedom and our new Imeriatan Friends who have given us so much”. He took a deep breath before he went on “so without more delays I present to you;” and with those words he pulled away the large cloth that were covering it. It was a large monument of three figures on the far left a woman stood; her face had a horrified appearance and her arms were raised in a protective gesture. On the far right was a large monster shaped like a dragon with a face with more humanlike features that reminded much of general Grif and on its breast a hammer and sickle were formed its face’s expression were one of hatred and bloodlust. However in the middle of those two stood a man, his face were one of calm defiance as he with a rifle with a bayonet attached to were holding the monster at bay. His entire posture seemed to shine on duty and loyalty as he was ready to give up his life for a defenseless woman. His uniform were however an exact replica of one that the Imeriatan royal guard wore. Under it a two texts were written out of golden letters on in Imeriatan saying “lhåt uss ickhe förglömma dim son doug su vi konde leva”, and one written in English saying “let us never forget those who died so we could live”. As the public watched filled with wonder as they examined the level of detail this sculpture displayed the entire heaven were lighted up by fireworks and the crowd brook out in cheers.

The collapse of the stalinist system implemented in Venezue has both a good and a bad side to it. The good side is that stalinism, a system considered by us to be an afront to communist ideals, is now gone from another country. The bad part is that, as almost expectable in these times, our communist brothers were attacked by those desiring to exploit the temporary weakness in Venezue.However they were stopped by the brave soldiers of the United Socialist States of Martilia, who have succeded in saving a significant part of Venezue from imperialist agression.

Now they will not be standing alone in their efforts. Even as this message has been typed up, the six Osean armies that form the 1st Belorussian Front have been sent to the territory presently being protected by our Martilian comrades. They will be escorted there and supported in their mission by our Mediterranean Fleet. They be be carrying out peacekeeping mission and will act as a detterent to the idea of anyone launching further attacks. Naturally, any attacks on our forces will be percieved as an act of war against the SSRO and will be responded to.

General Grif is neither on our country nor in the Grifziek Region. General Grif was proclaimed dead when the nuclear blast happened several weeks ago. We know and you know that we're receiving transmitted data from the capital itself, still we don't know if this data transmissions are trap or real ones that came from survivors of the capital, and possible General Grif

GFM Kirvek lied to the Northern Council, and keeping the entire situation that Grif is on the region. Currently, Grif is on a remote place within the Grifziek Region. Guarded by the members of the SFGB.

Outside the grounds of the Martilian controled capital of Venezue the General and his crowd marched up the streets toward the government building. Several Martilian guards aimed and prepared to fire, the General walked up to one of the soldiers and spoke.

'I must see your leader'
'No, whoever you are you are a great security risk; leave and we will not fire.' The soldier replied
'I have heard that already today' The dictator said brandishing his gun wounds. 'I am General Grif, the leader of the people of Venezue'
Quickly the soldier produced his hand radio.
'Martilian command this is exterior patrol 14, we have a man with gun wounds claiming to be General Grif. How should we act?'
The General and his mob waited patiently for the Martilian leader's reply...

The message from the border reached to the Comms Center in Kalkonov. In a coincidence, GFM Kirvek is there also monitoring the communications between the troops on the region. Kirvek heard the message, and told the guards on the zone to take these people on the nearest military and airbase (5 kilometers from there), to be transported to a secret place. Kirvek also contacted that base and said to send a highly guarded convoy with food and drinks to be given to Grif. Without an hour, the convoy arrived and they we're helped by Martilian soldiers, then from there they we're sent to the nearest Martilian base.

From there, they flew from a military VIP transport plane towards a remote place near the coasts of Southern Venezue, where GFM Kirvek is waiting for Grif. As soon as Grif and its troops disembarked from the plane, they we're met by Kirvek.
"Good to see you, General Grif", Kirvek said in a tone and smiling to the General.

'I am not pleased, I assume we have left Venezue and as such I have deserted my people. I have survived through many trials and tribulations this will just be a set back.' The General said, as Kirvek began to walk Grif walked alongside.
'Do you know who tried to assassinate me?' Kirvek walked in silence
'I understand, perhaps we should talk in private.' The General said
Kirvek just nodded.
'Fine. But consider your reply to the following questions. One, have we left Venezue? Two, Who tried to kill me? Three, How can we regain my nation? Four, do you have anything to drink and five...' The General leaned closer to Kirvek's ear.
'Where is the lavatory?'
The General and Kirvek walked away from the plane and the General followed the Martilian leader's footsteps. Kirvek pointed down a corridor and the General hurried down.
'3rd door to the left' Kirvek said, smiling...
