"They both need somewhere to stay, while they both get their strength," Brother Nature said, "I can't risk them at mine, too wild at the moment."

[Warhaven]

Erdin called his parents.

"Mom, dad, I found this Pegasus on the verge of death, and she was giving birth, but thanks to Life and Nature, their ok now. Can I keep them, please?" Erdin asked.

"Well, there is that spot in the Stable, perfect for a mother and foal." Lily commented thoughtfully, leaving final decision to Ordinatio.

"I can't see why not," Ordinatio decided, "Bring them home."

[Warhaven]

"Let's go see the new Arrivals." Lily enthused, as Erdin brought the pair home. The mother was surprisingly docile towards Erdin, and the foal was simply running on instinct, following mama wherever she might go.

"Oh what a strikingly cute baby!" Lily cooed as Erdin brought the pair home.

"Adorable," Ordinatio agreed, reaching out to scratch it on the chin

[Warhaven]

If the foal had been older, it'd have nickered its enjoyment, but it was much too young now, and so stayed by its mother's side. Erdin pet the mother on head, as Lily got the Stable Master updated.

"Erdin, you'll help take care of them, you wanted them, you'll take responsibility for them. The Stable Master will supervise to make sure everything goes properly." Lily said sternly.

"Taking care of another life is something you cannot do half heartedly," Ordinatio added sternly.

[Warhaven]

"I'll do my best!" Erdin promised.

"See to it then, I'll know if you slack off and make the Stable Master do it all." Lily said.

She wouldn't let the creatures suffer after all.

"I know you'll do your best," Ordinatio smiled

[Warhaven]

"I don't have to miss the big fight do I?" Erdin asked.

"Oh, heard about that one have you?" Lily asked.

She flipped on a nearby Hypernet monitor, the Communication's system having expanded to Harmony thanks to a few satellites, and a number of capable Psions.

It was advertised on every channel, and always started the same.

Calbrena stood on a rocky plateau, The Black Chapel visible behind her, Hell spread out below her.

"You knew this was coming, since the day you turned on us." She thundered.

The camera spun to Karesh.

"If only it didn't have to end like this." She said, a single tear rolling down her determined face.

A once in a life time match in the Warhaven Arena, Mother Vs. Daughter, Karesh, Champion of Justice, VS. Calbrena, Queen of Hell, Ruler of The Damned.

All because Karen had a nightmare, and couldn't seem to shake it, so Karesh and Calbrena were going to re-enact the fight at the Arena, to bring Karen back to that point so she could move past the traumatizing nightmare. It seemed unorthodox, but as Calbrena had pointed out, Karen was half-demon, and so sometimes the trick really was to traumatize her even more so she could heal completely from it all.

William hadn't quite understood that line of thinking to start with, however, he was there, with front row seats and snacks with Karen.

Xith, when he'd learned of the match, grew rather excited, so he had various council members fill the stands at specific locations.

"This," he explained, "is the moment of transition, by filling select spots, Calbrena and Karesh will both be at maximum power, and because of their fight, Hell will transition neutral. Not all demons will take the transition, and it is those demons that will prove themselves beyond redeeming, and truly be worthy of William's judgement when they do dark and evil deeds."

Sam was sitting in his spot, Nyx next to him. Draconus and Bahamut occupied spots, as Draco Sapiens. Paernatio had even come on over at Xith's request, letting Order and Chaos flow, Pondera and Carol also requested to fill specific seats. Sarah Angel filled another, and Chronus filled another. This was going to be a tremendous day.

Presently down in the arena, a fish faced monster was fighting a sentient Cactus, and the Cactus was winning.

Braxiatel sat watching the fight, looking thoroughly bored.

"You can't find good bloodshed for entertainment these days," He lamented

[Warhaven]

The Cactus skewered the fish faced man, and the pair were hauled off by medics. It was a throw-away fight anyway, one used to give everyone time to get seated for the main event.

"And now, the main event you've all been waiting for. Announcing first, from Neston-upon-Bel, the most terrifying prosecutor to walk the halls of Justice, Karesh Miller!" The Announcer cried.

Karesh phased in and out of reality as she flew about the arena, before settling down.

"And her opponent, from the depths of Hell, the most terrifying Demoness seen in several Eons, Calbrena, undisputed Queen of Hell!" The Announcer said.

The poles carrying the equipment to morph the Arena rose and flashed, suddenly all were in Hell, approaching the throne room. Demonic Magic flashed, and reality merged with fiction. Through the halls the crowd zoomed in the stands, settling upon Calbrena's throne room, where Calbrena lounged upon her throne.

"That's right, you come to me, I don't come to you." Calbrena said, standing, and stretching.

"I'm not afraid, even if we are in the center of all your power." Karesh declared.

"And that's why you'll lose. You don't think things through. That's why you lose half your cases, you don't think things through. That's why half your recipies fall apart, why it's a miracle your marriage is in one piece, unless there's hidden cracks. Probably are, why? You don't think things through. And that, is why you are a bad mother." Calbrena returned.

The crowd gasped in outrage, trash talk was expected, but calling someone a bad parent was usually considered out of bounds.

But it had its intended effect. Karesh, true to Calbrena's words, wasn't thinking things through, as rage burned in her eyes, anger stirred in her heart at being called a bad mother.

"Well, look who I learned from." Karesh managed.

"Why, yes, you learned from the Empress, having spent the last many years there. You do have a point, don't you?" Calbrena agreed, smiling pleasantly.

Pondera almost leapt into the arena to murder Calbrena over that one.

Carol held him back, not looking to pleased by the insult herself.

In his seat William quietly seethed his aura sparking quietly as he made a mental note to punch Calbrena later, trash talk was trash talk, but it wasn't just Karesh and Pondera's buttons Calbrena was pushing, and she'd just pushed his three major ones, Karesh, Karen and Carol.

Karesh it seemed, felt their anger too, for she launched herself across the arena screeching in outrage, and in response, Calbrena roundhouse kicked her into a wall.

"Didn't I just tell you, you never think things through?" Calbrena asked, smiling sweetly.

Then she launched a barrage of fireballs at Karesh, and they exploded against an image of her burned into the wall. Karesh herself came up out of the floor and grabbed Calbrena, punching her in the face repeatedly.

"That's for insulting me, my parenting skills, and Carol's." Karesh roared.

Calbrena turned to fire and flowed away, reforming whole.

"Anger is unbecoming a virtuous person." Calbrena mocked.

"It's called Righteous Anger." Karesh breathed, sending a wall of Holy at Calbrena, who broke it with a hammer of Evil.

"If this is the best you've got I've got this one in the bag, I've suffered worse nights when Braxiatel had restless slumber." Calbrena boasted.

Braxiatel sniggered to himself, knowing this was true.

William meanwhile, smiled to himself, he knew just what Karesh could do.

[Warhaven]

"Ahh yes, dear old dad, the true power in Hell. Not everyone's figured out you simply surrendered to the first fuck buddy to survive the night. He's what, your one millionth customer?" Karesh asked, returning fire with words of her own. She followed by shooting the claws off her hands. Calbrena swatted them aside, growling.

"And our real father was what, lucky number one? Or did you experiment a couple hundred times before hand. Good thing Brax wasn't as unlucky as the Blue meanie, the five of us heard you two going at it all night, and mysteriously, the blue meanie was gone in the morning and you were fat, like you'd eaten an entire demon. And you're still just as fat." Karesh sneered, shooting regular fire at Calbrena, that Calbrena returned.

"I mean, it's a good thing he doesn't mind leftovers everyone else has used, but it's not hard to see why, you just roll over and take whatever he gives you like a good dog." Karesh finished, shooting volleys of Lightning at Calbrena.

Calbrena absorbed them all as she screamed with fury, all the demons of Hell lending their voices, shaking the underworld from one end to the other, ripping apart the very foundations of Hell itself allowing untold oceans of Magma to come spilling out.

Privately, Pondera was enjoying Karesh's words, feeling it satisfactory payback for Calbrena's original onslaught of words.

Now it was Braxiatel's turn to look furious.
And Pondera wasn't the only one enjoying Karesh's retorts as William smiled inwardly.

[Warhaven]

Words were wasted no more as the two grappled into a series of furious blows, of note was an incredible punch by Calbrena to Karesh's spinal column from behind, and a knee from Karesh to Calbrena's stomach.

They parted and threw the entire directory of low-level spells at each other, Calbrena in particular finding unprecedented success with Lightning, Karesh successfully freezing Calbrena solid.

Sam leaned over to William.

"I think their done wasting lies on each other. Hell of a battle strategy though, attempting to piss each other off to the point of irrationality. That's why I don't argue with demons, their real good with words." Sam chuckled.

"The key is to remain calm," William grinned, "It pisses off your opponent more than your own words can. Unfortunately I'm just as bad as you when they touch on certain subjects"

[Warhaven]

Sam's attention was brought back to the arena by a terrific flash, Karesh was encased in a rock she couldn't phase through, and Calbrena was slowly choking her to death. With a demonic screech Karesh burst free, sending Calbrena tumbling. Both landed on their feet, and rushed back into the fray claws unsheathed.

Slowly but surely their armor came to tatters and fell on the floor. That was when Karesh leapt away, and closed her wings around her. A column of Light surrounded her, and when it left, Karesh had engaged the entirety of her powers, and her being, having taken on her Paragon of Virtue form.

Not to be outdone, Calbrena stepped into the Lake of Eternal Hellfire and sank beneath its surface. Karesh started firing wave after wave of Holy energy at the lake.

Braxiatel and William made eye contact with each other across the Arena, and in an instant, they both realised what was coming.

[Warhaven]

"So, you think I'm just Braxiatel's lap bitch these days? Let me remind you why I am The Queen and you are not." Calbrena said, her voice heard only. It was twisted, monsterous, mutated, and came with it's own echoing reverb that just sent chills up the spine at the perfect horrifying pitch.

What emerged from that lake could only be described as the feminine embodiment of Evil. It was a twisted wriggling mass of darkness and fire, no discernable form to be found.

"Hello nightmares, I wondered what you would look like." Karesh said cheerily as her mother emerged.

"This is it, this is what they looked like before Mommy died.." Karen said, worried.

"It's okay, It'll be fine," William said reassuringly, "Just watch."
