Sliding through the snow on his knees, Eberhard knelt next to the spastic doctor, attempting to check his pulse. The doctor repeatedly smacked his hand away, twitching about in the snow rapidly melting about him. In desperation, Eberhard grabbed a tranq syringe from his gun and plunged it into Henry's pinned-down arm. Slowly, the doctor's spasms subsided, and soon the man was sound asleep in a puddle of melted snow.
"Good," said Eberhard, "That should keep him from hurting himself, at least until we get him to safety."
Turning to Doctor John, the Professor asked, "Do you know of a place warm enough to keep your friend from frostbite?"
Dr. Howard picked up a transmitter that connected to all radios on the island. "Hello? Is everyone okay?"
