Knight Major Henry Lee stands on the Bridge of the BMS Hope watching the buzz go about the flight deck. He was sent on a peacekeeping mission for the security interests BIrtonia had in Southern Sudan. He knew what was really going to happen, the Knight Regents in their infinite wisdom would try and subjugate the whole country under their rule and add them on as a colony to the empire, as they have done many times in the past.

Under his command was the 3rd Infantry Division, the 1st and 2nd Combat Patrol Helicopter Squadrons, and supporting him was Naval Task Force 159, which boasted several aircraft carriers and cruise missile ships.

People were going about their daily business the best they could in the city, still nervous about the seccesion of their country. The peace and quiet was interrupted by hundreds of heavy thuds in the air. Looking up you could see pitch black helicopters, with missiles and guns pointing out from them, they were everywhere. Without warning they began touching down all around the city, in the streets, on buildings, everywhere you looked. Soldiers in all black armor with automatic weapons and strange equipment poured out of them. People were panicking running about and screaming things the Birtonians didn't care to understand. Once perimeters had been established, the soldiers pushed out to find a large field near the city to construct a forward operating base.

The defensive perimeter was slowly coming together, hescos made a makeshift wall to provide small arms protection. Sandbag bunkers were being constructed along the walls as well as towers on the corners. Tents and other makeshift buildings were being erected among the buzz of activity. Several helipads had been cleared from the grass and UH-90 Hawkeye helicopters touch down every 45 seconds dropping supplies that would be needed to construct more permanent residence for the soldiers. Mean while Birtonian commanders were discussing which cities to deploy soldiers to, in order to make headway for the massive amounts of MP's that were en route from Birtonia.
