Preamble
The Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations(CSN) is an organization that exists for the purpose of ensuring the collective security and prosperity of its members. The Commonwealth considers all member nations to be of equal status, regardless of ideology and always works towards what benefits the Commonwealth as a whole.
Application form
If you wish to join the Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations, please fill out this form. Note that we require applicants to have a population that is 50 Million or more. Decision on applications will be made by the Chairman of the Commonwealth Council. The Minister of Internal Affairs can also make decisions on applications, unless the Minister's decision conflicts with the opinion of the Council Chairman. If neither the Chairman or Internal Minister can make a decision or a large percent of members of the Commonwealth object to the decision made, the applications will be decided by a vote in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Alliance Rules
- The Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations shall be headed by the Commonwealth Council. Each member shall get one representative on the Council. The Council will allow each nation to voice their opinions and encourage discussion between the member nations. The Commonwealth Council will be lead by the Chairman of the Commonwealth Council, a position which will be held by the leading nation of the Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations. This position will also hold the ability to veto proposals.
- The Commonwealth Council will be represented by the President of the Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations. This position will have few powers, instead acting as the voice of the Commonwealth on behalf of it's members. The position will be selected on a rotary basis, with each member holding the position for six months.
- The Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations shall have a number of legislature to manage the day-to-day affairs of the alliance. Each of these shall be lead by a Minister. These will be selected from applicants from member nations by the acting head of the Commonwealth.

- The Ministry of Internal Affairs will be responsible for managing applications to join the alliance. It is responsible for
deciding deciding whether an application to join the alliance should be approved or not.
- There will also be the Ministry for Justice, a sub-body to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It decides disputes between members and has the ability to hold trials for war crimes.
- The Ministry of External Affairs is the diplomatic corp of the Commonwealth. It serves the same purpose that
foreign ministries of individual nations do, with it's own trained diplomats from the members of the alliance. The Ministry will also be responsible for dealing with ambassadors from nations outside the Commonwealth and developing the relations of the Commonwealth with alliances and nations around the world.
- The Ministry for War is the military section of the Commonwealth. It is responsible for co-ordinating the
different forces of the individual members of the Commonwealth during combined operations.
- For making decisions on military matters, all members shall have a representative on the Security Commmitee. This body will be responsible for discussing, planning, and holding votes on the actions of Commonwealth rapid reaction forces. Like the Commonwealth Council, the Security Commmitee will be lead by the Chairman of the Commonwealth Council. This position will hold the power to veto proposals. The Security Commmitee will be subordinate to the Commonwealth Council and it will not be able to overide the wishes of the Commonwealth Council in any matter.
- The Ministry of Economic Affairs is responsible for the finances of the alliance and decides what the spending
priorities of the alliance shall be. It is also responsible for the approval of requests for economic aid or project funding. Lastly it will be responsible for the development of a common market between the members of the Commonwealth.
- The Ministry of Technology is the section meant for managing joint projects between members in scientific matters, both civilian and miliary. It will also be responsible for deciding which projects should recieve priority in terms of funding from the Commonwealth.
- If an act of aggression is commited by a nation to a member of the Commonwealth, it will be percieved as aggression against all members of the alliance and they will be expected to come to the member's defence.
- No member of the Commonwealth will attack another member of the alliance. If they do, they will be thrown out of the alliance and treated in the same manner that a non member nation would.
- If it is seen to be neccesary for the alliance to launch a war of aggression, it must first be approved by the Commonwealth Council, by a majority vote.
- The Commonwealth will be required to maintain a rapid reaction force to deal with security matters, such as border intrusions, piracy and terrorism. This force will include specialist units trained specificaly to deal with the aforementioned matters, along with conventional military units. This force will be put under the command of the Security Commmitee and will be comprised of forces contributed by the members of the Commonwealth.
- If a nation that wishes to join the Commonwealth is already a member of any military alliances, they are required to inform the Commonwealth of their membership in those alliances in their application. Nations that are members are expected to keep the alliance informed of all military alliances they are members of in addition to the Commonwealth.
- Due to the financial requirements of the alliance, it is be necessary for members to provide a sum of money equivilent to about 1 percent of the nation's GDP to the treasury. If a member is experiancing economic troubles and feels that they cannot pay this, the sum will be either be reduced or cut completely, depending on the circumstances of the member.
- If a nation wishes to withdraw from the Commonwealth, they must notify the alliance beforehand. Once they have done so, there will be a waiting period of five months before the withdrawal comes into affect.
