The Quintaria

The Quintaria remained silent and motionless as the gab closed between the two factions; however, the crew of the Quintaria were ready and the Shipmaster, a female Emperian by the name of Kara'ne Dulon Z'rage, watched the holoscreens intently. Her dark blue armor shown with a slight twinkle like polished Duranthium and her dark blue cape flowed behind her, with light blue hair and a face that would seem fair by Human standards. Emperians tended to be regarded as a fair race by contemporary standards with great variety in hair and eye color.

"Ready for emergency Slipspace jump, and prepare for Seradite discharge." ordered the Shipmaster and the crew began to fill the order. A Seradite discharge was a discharge of Seradite energy straight from the Seradite Core of the ship through the Seradite crystals lacing the ship. The key in this was that not only was the projecting field invisible it also was highly EMP in effect. Literally stripping electrons from machinery in some violent cases and it was a first line defense besides shields and weaponry for Imperial craft. So it was pretty much standard procedure to conduct such protocols when facing unknown ships closing on an Imperial vessel.

"Shall we attempt a hail?" voiced the Communications officer, a short and stocky Aetherian male in the uniform of a Leu'tar (First lieutenant).

"Negative."

Onboard the Claw

The Grand Admiral growled in frustration. Murmuring under his breath he said "Damn it. We have no first contact protocols and this craft isn't flinching." Speaking louder now and to a blue furred marine stationed at the door he issued a rather unusual command for the bridge. "Marine, bring me a bantha calf."

Puzzled but not wanting to question the order, the marine galloped to the holds where the bantha herd that was to maintain the crew was kept. Selecting a rather small calf, the marine grabbed it and galloped back to the hold. The process took almost ten minutes, during which the Claw and her fleet stopped their approach of the unknown craft. The superlaser was only at a quarter charge but they were now in range for the Claw's forward most turbolasers.

Upon arrival of the marine and the calf, Na'rhli placed the calf on the ground in front of him and the holocam. With a thrust of his tailblade he opened the calf's throat and let the blood burst out onto his fur. He began tearing into the dying animal with his jaws, eating his fill while the bantha was still alive. By the time the dying screams of the calf faded away the whole crew's bloodlust was up, but they knew better than to challenge the Grand Admiral over a kill. Kicking the mangled remains away with one of his front paws, he spoke to the communications officer from before. "Open a channel." His mouth was dripping with the bantha's blood and his torso was soaked, staining his golden fur and long mane.

I am Grand Admiral Na'rhli of the Galactic Empire of Charzak. We are here on a mission to eliminate an encroaching human colony that deployed ships too close to Imperial space. Do you come in peace? You are the first advance people we have encountered since the ancient times. Speak quickly for the bloodlust is running high in the crew.

During the transmission Na'rhli stood so that his full form could be seen. His five foot lion-like body and claws would seem impressive, but not nearly as so as his tailblade and mane. The claws on his paws were retracted to subtly show he was not taking an aggressive stance despite what he spoke. His hands were balled into fists and hung at his sides.

The Quintaria

The Imperial Lunar Cruiser held steady and the Shipmaster watched with keen interest into the rather aggressive movements of these alien ships. Then a message was picked up and the Logic Engines coordinated with the ships Lexicanum to decipher the message before displaying it on a holoscreen before the Shipmaster. It was then that he A.I. correctly registered it as coming with a holo-video feed and promptly projected the image.

The Shipmaster responded as a hologram also came into view, projecting before her of a bestial being with a bladed tail and eye stalks, of muscular build. Kara'ne however with true Emperian stoicism remained unfazed by this blood covered brute.

Here on a mission to investigate. Peace, yes.

The Quintaria's Shipmaster Kara'ne Dulon Z'rage

Kara'ne was of average Emperian height for a female at 6 ft 3, the Hologram projection gave the aliens proportions to be roughly that of hers due to space restrictions and the settings of the projection. Kara'ne's fair face contrasted with the savagery of the brute calling itself Na'rhli, her light blue hair flowed about her collar and her brown eyes remained looking at the beast before her.

Her message was short as the Lexicanum has to guess on a word for investigate, as the Emperian word itself Es'verganate could possibly not match up with the Charzakian equivalent. So she simply guessed as best she could.

Within moments of the foreigners arrival warning lights sounded and the hologram in front of Zerus quickly began to ping and glow a myriad of warning colors indicating unknown vessels. A Yarn officer turned to him, his eyes and veins glowing a pale yellow as his body pulsed from the parasite within.

" Commander, unknown contacts, they just arrived. I wasn't able to catch how many of them are here but it's at least a couple. It appears they have scouts on an intercept course with ours...our scouts are unarmed."

Zerus red veins pulsed further, opening his mouth revealing a crimson biolumiesecent glow through his teeth.

" Call them back, I want a defensive perimeter set up around the colony ships. Were on our first alert, don't arm weapons just yet."

The officer nodded before looking back at his terminal only to look back. " They are hailing us, some kind of greeting. My host has no memory of this language they are also clearly not Yarn."

Zerus sent a hail in Yarn as well as galactic basic, he was unsure what effect this would have.

" You have trespassed on a claimed world of the Yarn Thralldom, state your purpose."

It was a simple and strong gesture, even as it was sent the fleet was moving itself. It creating a gauntleted circle around the transports and colony ships with the huge pool ship serving as the final defense. Drone fighters immediately swarmed from the light carriers and created a defensive swarm around the colonists ships. As every moment passed tensions rose.

Captain Arica Orpheus
Mentak Cruiser Sleepless Knight
Unexplored System

Well, they definitely managed to find the fleet. Arica thought to herself as the concentrated Yarn formation moved out of the asteroid field and in her scout ships’ general direction. With a quick signal she had the small craft withdrawn back to the visible, three-ship formation.

Seconds later, the Yarn communication came as response to her hail. She certainly couldn’t miss the aggressive/defensive overtones in the short, curt response. She wondered what they were so worked up about – they had her clearly outnumbered and she could only assume out gunned. She shrugged it off while she thought back to what protocol and tradition would have of her. Right now, her best option was to delay.

“Greetings honorable representatives of the Yarn Thralldom.” Arica started. “I am Captain Orpheus of the Starship Sleepless Knight. I am but a humble trader, and mean no intrusion upon your claimed territory. Please, we wish only escort to your colony that we might conduct business.”

It was a calculated maneuver. Identifying oneself as Mentak was a good way to severely limit your options or open yourself up for censure. The last thing she wanted to do, both out of patriotism and practicality, was risk bringing an undesired war upon her people. Of course, there was the possibility that the Thralldom was peaceful and reasonable despite their choice of name. She’d have to just wait and see. And hedge her bets.

Down below, in the hanger pods, Prowler pilots mounted up on their craft while Marauders were being loaded up with anti-ship weaponry. Nobody was launching, but it didn’t hurt to be prepared. Her dynasty didn’t get where it was by being caught with their pants down.

Smoya wrote:Athia Planetary Space Command
After the cargo was unloaded, there was a major presentation given at the Space Command:

"Thank you for coming tonight. As you know, this is the official beginning of the Smoyan Space Age. May our nation prosper!" shouted a man in a black suit, Commander in Chief of the Space Command - Ronald Phyllis.

The crowd of researchers and astronauts cheered. Ronald continued, "We welcome our fellow Earthling Smoyans back. Once our ancestors were all Earthlings..." he said and looked at the ceiling, as if trying to remember something sad.

"We are all citizens of Athia. As these citizens, you have a choice - become part of everyday society, or join the greatest job there is on this planet - Astronomy!" the rest of the crowd cheered.

"Now, lets get to why we are here. Now that our friends are here, they will be staying with us for a period of time until there next mission - which is most likely in 2 days...here is the mission:

Recently, our satellites have detected some obscure images on our screens. We have seen red dots in the sky, flying across our atmosphere. However, we have no idea what this is. They are too small to be asteroids and if in our atmosphere, the comet dissolve. Okay, now their mission is to go out to Planet G - a planet we have detected these weird images are coming from. They are to see if their are any amazing planetary functions going on, or if it is just some extra terrestrials..."

The words extra terrestrials sent a chill down Ronald's spine.

"Now, it has been a good, successful day. Go get some sleep." he said, and the crowd dissolved into chatter.

Science Station B151, Engi Mining and Science station:

For months Engi Stealth Cruisers have investigated this species. They were human, and very advanced, but it appeared they lacked FTL technology. Because they had artificial satellites the Engis new they were becoming a space faring civilization, but that was an issue. The Engis were ordered to destroy all the evidence of their existence, and to take final readings on the race. However, thought the Engis have advanced cloaking technology, some work had to be done without the protection of being hidden. On the planet, there were small mining operations and science center, all of which was to be destroyed before the Engi's left.

Infinity, New Engia, before the Nova:

Walter was working furiously. He was tearing out the heart of an FTL drive and was installing photon bombs in it. "They are advancing!" a man could be hear shouted. Gunfire could be heard all around him. Walter ran out into the heat of the sun. Around him where ships. Hundreds of small craft, military and civilian, were laced with bombs. In the sky Harvesters could be seen descending onto the planet below, tearing anything in their path apart. Vipers flew overhead, opening fire on Architect fighters. "Walter! We are ready!" Walter quickly ran over to the command center. "Are we ready!" he shouted over the chatter of soldiers and scientists. Then, walter thought he heard someone say yes. Walter looked outside. All of the craft that were on the tarmac where gone. He looked up at the sky. Debris of harvesters where raining down on the desert world. Cheers could be heard now. "Incoming Transmission." the Halo screen said. "Report: Architect Fleet in Retreat. 90% Of Enemy Fleet Destroyed. 85% of the New Engia Garrison is Destroyed. All civilians are advised to stay in their safty shelters until-" The room was filled with cheers. We did it! We beat them! Walter was happy. He ran out of the command center and to the Bunker. He threw open the doors to the bunker and ran down the flights of stairs. There he meet his wife and daughter, who he hugged. "Oh Walter, you did it!" his wife said, "Yes!

Infinity, The Final Battle:

The ship jumped. Walter was looking out the window. His view of the Engi-Imperial Fleet was replaced with debris of ships. Architect ships flew in formation, getting closer to the Citadel. They shot out their weapons at other ships. Suddenly violent explosions could be seen tearing apart Architect ships. The ship that walter was on advanced onto the Citidel. "Good thing you invented there." said a man, talking to Walter. "You nearly saved New Engia with those..." Walter watched the battle, ships being torn to shreds, fighters being engulfed in the heat of battle. Then something happened. The Architects stopped. Then they all were torn to shreds in unison. Everyone went silent. Then someone cheered. Soon others followed suit.

The Berserker's eyes flared yet again, a dangerously Red Color "Uh, your "Allies" had planned on destroying New Germany with Richtofen's Staff on planet, now you would help the enemy that is so hard trying to destroy the Communist Reich & The Dark Jedi Republic?, you would only aide in the decimation of the Galaxies, which would not help anyone, i'm very disappointed Primarch." Yarn Expeditionary Fleet: Unexplored Star System

Merchants...Zerus thought to himself...or privateers...

A new message was sent to the space faring explorers and it was one that might have caused some people to raise eyebrows. As the Yarn were parasites there was a certain currency valued above all else and that was life itself as they needed hosts to continue their life cycle and existence in the universe. Without this precious commodity they would surely perish in the long run. As such the message was short and to the point with these intruders on their fresh new piece of land.

" We require hosts either yourself or of those you offer us in return for goods, you have nothing else to offer us except your unconditional surrender, death or retreat from this system."

The fleet was still tense, though they outnumbered the newcomers they were not taking chances. They hadn't even had the chance to land their colony ships on the planet below yet and with arrivals already showing up it was making the situation uneasy for Zerus and the other Yarn forces that occupied the space above the tan, brown and green world below them. No ship would land until the situation was resolved however.

Nova Prime:

Walter was walking into a large room. Inside was a giant Monolith, with letters and numbers written all over it. Around in Engis in white uniforms were walking around, all working on de coding the Monolith. The Vise President of the Science Department greeted Walter. "As you have read, we got this off of Nova Prime. You also heard of what it did to the landing party. We have the army on stand by." Walter picked up a tablet and read the report. "Heck maybe The Primarch can turn it on!" Walker joked, looking up at the Monolith. I mean he somehow turned on that other machine. Sure my JJs could have done the job.." He remembered New Engia. "Um, keep at it. If they came somewhere, i want to know where, and i want to get there." Walter said. The Primarch is annoying. His act had no reason. I mean how did he know what it was or what to do? he was handed victory I had to work for it. I payed with everything i love. He just gets back his life.

New Engia

The outer limits of the New Engian system would be disturbed by a flashing tear of blue light, Eldritch lightning fomenting from it as a golden plated, silver lined and bronze effigy-laden vessel entered the system. The blue tear would slowly recede as the Slipspace Drives of the Imperium, the first ship of the Imperium-Class of warships ceased and cooled.

The Imperium like its sister ships was a Battleship as well as a Supercarrier, bridging both roles and providing itself as a strategic asset to the Imperial Starfleet as a whole rather than to any single Imperial Navy formation. It in itself had enough firepower to take on an Imperial Fleet in terms of raw fire power with each one of its three Nova Cannons having 1.02 Teratons of destructive force coupled with each Battery of the ship holding 560 Gigatons worth of firepower only added to its ability of fielding 24 Squadrons of Imperial Starfighters and 6 Squadrons of Bomber/Strike craft among other craft like shuttles and stealth vessels.

It was also the Warship of the Legio Custodes, the Emperor's Praetorians and operated as a mobile command base in asserting the Emperor's Will across Imperial Space.

It gave standard protocols to the Engi Spacial authorities, freely broadcasting its name and Imperial origin along with the passenger it was holding. The Emperor himself, coming on an official visit long overdue to commemorate the works of the Engi and the fruition of Imperial-Engi relations

New Engia

The first receiver of the broadcast on the Engi Space Traffic Control nearly fainted. The Engia Garrison was ordered to great the Imperial Fleet, fan fair and all. Vipers were ordered into formations and officers into their finest uniforms. Consuls Hio and Lee just arrived in the Spaceport and where now preparing to meet the Emperor. They went to a Halo Screen and hailed the Imperial Vessle. Hio spoke first. "Greetings! Welcome my friend, to New Engia. We have a gift for you." Hio smiled. "It is an honor, to meet you."

The Imperium moved at .50 the Speed of Light towards New Engia, closing the distance rapidly until it eventually slowed to hang over the planet in Orbit, the fanfare was immense. The Imperium itself as Phoenix fighters left the hangers of the vessel and flew in ordered V-formations. The grandeur of it all was utterly incomprehensible to be told in one sitting to a person who was not there to witness it.

The Emperor himself answered the holoscreen message, in full regalia of golden armor, flowing white fur trimmed cape, his helm adorned with the Imperian Eagle and flowing red plumes hung at his side. His skin was like something out of a commercial marketing add, without blemish and perfect to the eyes. His midnight black hair was like a kept mane of pure black silk in the softness of appearance, his eyes of ice grey, but settling like the calm waves of an ocean with a hint of emerald along the edges to the subtle purple ringing the pupil. The eyes spoke of youth and vigor much like his flesh, as if he had not aged a day, but also spoke volumes of wisdom as if he was some cosmic phenomenon with the knowledge of eons. Magnificent, his gilded armor of Eagles and lightning bolts, accentuating his tall and fair frame of 7 ft, making him seem taller due to the armor. Like some terrible warlord or a noble knight, and his voice, his voice alone, felt like the soothing texture of honey; but, as if by some beautiful contrast layered in authority like a mountain dominating a landscape.

Code: Select all
To: Unidentified Vessel
ROOOOOOAAAAARRRRRR
I am Grand Admiral Na'rhli of the Galactic Empire of Charzak. We are here on a mission to eliminate an encroaching human colony that deployed ships too close to Imperial space. Do you come in peace? You are the first advance people we have encountered since the ancient times. Speak quickly for the bloodlust is running high in the crew.

The Shipmaster responded as a hologram also came into view, projecting before her of a bestial being with a bladed tail and eye stalks, of muscular build. Kara'ne however with true Emperian stoicism remained unfazed by this blood covered brute.
Code: Select all
To: Charzak Fleet

Na'hrli rumbled deep in his throat. It appeared that the newcomers were not fazed by his appearance. But that was less important compared to the fact that this being appeared to be a human. The Grand Admiral himself did not think she was, but for the sake of the crew he had to ask anyway. Letting out another fearsome roar he spoke again, "We have destroyed this colony and my soldiers have feasted on the inhabitants. Humans are a plague on the universe and must be punished for their ancient crimes against my people. Be you human? For if so, we have no choice but to destroy you."

As he finished his sentence reports came flooding in to a console jut out of sight of the hologram beside Na'rhli. He turned one eye stalk ever so slightly to observe it. All ground forces had been recovered and the ships he had left were holding position above the planet. The superlaser was at half charge and rising. His face remained fierce and in a snarl, even receiving these reports which freed up his fleet considerably. He gave no orders to his crew, as they watched the interaction silently.

Athia Orbit, 2 days later
The astronauts, this time taking researchers as well, flew off again - but with another shuttle, titled Audicty I. They finally had left Athia's atmosphere and were off to "Planet G", the source of mysterious images.

While leaving, they got past Athia's barrier of asteroids. Somewhere in between researchers collected asteroid particles.

"This is going to take shorter than expected," said one of the commanding astronauts, Henry Poul. He had been flying with this new shuttle since it was created, which was 3 months ago.

"Yeah, as long as don't encounter any other barriers in the way," replied the man sitting next to him, who was pressing buttons which did who knows what. "I think that's the last of the asteroids, at least that's what Dr. Ronaldo said." finished Henry. "If we do encounter them, again, we'll just let the researchers get their precious dust and blast our way through." he joked. Both laughed.

New Engia:
"No, it is our pleasure," Hio replied. "You are cleared to dock anywhere you please," he continued. "Welcome." All around the station, and on the planet below, the Engis where preparing for a great celebration. The news was filled with great hype on the surprise. The Senate was put into an emergency meeting to prepare for the arrival of the Emperor. Ships from around the Confederation jumped to new Engia to catch a glimbs of the Imperial Flagship, and already hotels were booked. Battlestars were in a parking orbit near the station in military formation, and they began an Honorable wargames.

Athia System:

The Engis detected a vessel approaching their position at near FTL speeds. They were worried. They did not anticipate the Humans to travel that fast this quickly. The scientists where now completing erasing the station from the planet's surface, but they still had equipment and tunnels to destroy or transfer onto battlestars and Cruisers before the fled the scene.

Yavin IV

The booming lightning shined the humid, rain forest and sparked the room like a broken light. 0-96 awoke furiously, not knowing what was happening and heard a howl far from his location. He was beginning to think he was hallucinating from the Korosian torture and yelled with a loud, yet calm manner.
"Hello! Is anyone there?" no answer came from the room and 0-96 was thinking of this as a dream. He started to walk, dazed and saw nothing but a window shining a bright light to the right of the room showing rain pouring with a tapping sound. 0-96 continued to walk down the building into the elevator.

The Citadel
(Do we go to where the Primarch is now or where we left off?)

The Shadow

The Shadow was shocked with a surprise that his grandfather, who was reported to be dead was alive all along.
"What do you mean as he is...here? Is he actually here alive and well?!"

SCP-682
Yavin IV

682 collapsed unto the ground, tears flowing down his eyes, his tendrils taking down trees by his side, but this stopped until his Genocidal Counterpart started whispering words into his mind "Kill them all, they betrayed you...", 682 ignored his genocidal counterpart speaking to him, as he fired another mouth cannon by another mountain, destroying it instantly.

Before exiting the Shuttle, Sanji smirked "Yep, he is probably in the labs right now, but we will not leave until you get your Grandfather, he would like to come with us i believe." Sanji said, sitting in the Lounge Chair.

He looked the 'god' dead in the eyes through his mask, and with a stern voice. "You are not a threat? Are you now?" A Praetorian could be seen looking over his shoulder into the room/

The Berserker's eyes flared yet again, a dangerously Red Color "Uh, your "Allies" had planned on destroying New Germany with Richtofen's Staff on planet, now you would help the enemy that is so hard trying to destroy the Communist Reich & The Dark Jedi Republic?, you would only aide in the decimation of the Galaxies, which would not help anyone, i'm very disappointed Primarch." The Berserker Commander would simply state. he then turned to the Preatorian "If i was a threat, i would not have come alone, i would have brought my Berserker Underlings with me." The Berserker Commander sternly stated.

The Praetorian grumbled (OOC: No one currently has more than 2-3 Galaxies, anything above that would be clear god modding. Colonies in other Galaxies is a different story.) The Primarch cocked his head to the side. "So again I ask you, why in the nine realms should I help you? You waltz in here expecting my help and nothing to show for it. If I really wanted as my supposed 'allies' came in offering wine...compliments and were generally kind hearted. Why not join them?"
