Lieutenant Colonel Zarkatia and his 15,000 men slowly advanced towards the first village, roughly five klicks outside of the Loyalist front lines. Colonel Malcolm’s tanks followed them. They walked into they village, which looked like abandoned, smoking ruin. Zarkatia kept his AK-103 aimed as he slowly walked on the village’s main road. A few of his subordinate officers were carrying loud speakers: “We are Otosan soldiers here on behalf of the democratically elected Kambana government. Please stay in your homes until we secure the area. Villagers coming out in the open will be considered insurgents and will be fired upon. Please stay in your homes, this will all be over shortly. We are here to help you.” His officers shouted in all of the native languages. Zarkatia ordered his men to break off into small squads to secure the hundreds to alleys, the tanks secured the main roads.

Emperor Virgo sat in his chair, when the dor creaked open.
"Sir, We have note that there has been a coup in the nation of Kambana, Jallin Lamor-Alamin, Kambana has been forced to step down to his Son" said John Klevre, Leader of the International Security Bureau

"Do we have any information on the Lamors?" Virgo said in return
A thick Casefile was dropped on his desk .

Noah Lamor is the son of Jallin Lamor and grew up raised by his political and wealthy father. His mother died of Ebola as a child and he was pushed into private schools as he grew older in which he excelled in. He became a star athlete in his collage team and is currently overseas in Isola.

And the second was of Lallin

Jallin Lamor-Kambana Rebel Political Leader-58-Married
Jallin was born to a wealthy political family in Kambana and spent much time living abroad and studying independence movements and governments. He became convinced that it was time for Kambana to join the world as a free and equal nation and began the Kambana Nationalist movement. He now leads the rebels as their political leader. After the independence wars he was installed as Acting President until elections could be held for the political future of Kambana.

After being elected President Jallin has led the nation through some trying times, including the rebuilding of Alamin, the fighting of pirates and the struggle to build a stable economy to compete on the world stage.

After reading, Virgo said "I'm ordering your administration to overview the situation. In due time, we'll see this new leaders true colors. "

"Oh, And sir, It seems many nations are joining this conflict."

"Yes, Communism wreaks here, but that will be all."

When he recieved the radio transmission, Commander Connor Redge ordered all of his men to begin flying over the land so they could try to gather as much intel as possible, he informed the naval vessels and ground troops that it would be ok to land and begin operations. All of the troops were ordered to not engage enemies unless engaged upon. Finally, he sent another message to the loyalist forces:

"Thanks, is there any place for my boys to land?" he asked

The ground and naval forces would be at Kambana soon, ready for deployment. The remaining army ready for war stayed at mainland Orendajo for now and would not come until the recon was over.

115km off the Coast of Kambana
Having not received any reply from the Kamabanian government, the military had pushed ahead, moving in the country's one carrier, which was carrying 75 Su-35s and 5 B-2s (which, as per a previous treaty, were only allowed to carry 4.000kg of bombs each). Along with the carrier (the LFS Sveltica), there were 2 Anubis-Class battleship as an escort, along with 15 Shepherd Class destroyers (a total of 700 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles). There was also a cruise liner, which was carrying 3.000 soldiers of the 188th Elite Regiment, who would land in Kambana to support the Loyalist government once they had been allowed to do so.

Bridge of the LFS Sveltica
3rd Colonel Hamrim looked at the paper. As commander of the 188th Elite Regiment, he was happy. He now had the permission he needed. "Prepare for a landing!" he shouted.

Coast of Kambana
3 hours later, the troops began landing along the coast. The goal of the 3.000 men, who had a total of 15 years of training and experience in special ops, was to secure an airfield and a port so more supplies and troops could move in. Landing using a total of 80 LVs, the troops began fanning out from the beach, planning to ask nearby locals in any language they could were the nearest air and sea ports were. Meanwhile, Su-35s screamed overhead, looking for any possible threat to their forces.

Lieutenant Colonel Zarkatia and his men were able to secure the first village without taking any causalities. After securing the village, the terrified villagers came out of hiding and were given fresh food and water from the Otosans. Then they told the Otosans that communists forces had retreated from village after learning of the Otosan advance, but they did not know where they went. Zarkatia is holding his position and waiting for more allied soldiers.

35 Miles off the coast of Kambana

The Imperial Ninth Fleet had been dispatched towards Kambana without the request of the Kambanan government. Though Admiral Alexander Roberts had attributed this to the fact that the communists had taken control of the capital city and he found it doubtful the loyalists would have any good communications systems at the moment. Apparently most members of the Imperial Consulate and the Emperor himself had agreed that was the cause of no communications having been received from the loyalists, and so the Ninth Fleet had been deployed. The Admiral already had his orders, he would give one more attempt to get in communications with the loyalists but with or without there consent, Imperial forces would land and restore the government. He ordered his communications officers to attempt to send another message to the loyalist forces, simply asking for permission to come ashore but he sent orders to the Army commanders to ready there men.

Firmador takes a pro-Rebel stance in this conflict. Eighteen medical ships and four hundred smaller transport vessels with supplies will be guarded by two destroyers. These supplies are for exclusive Rebel use. Any attempt to halt or commandeer these supplies will be an act of aggression making precedence for war. The ships will fly Firmadores flags with the hospital ships on the outside their red crosses showing.

The Elite 12th Wolf Regiment arrived at Kambana and the F-22N RR's have completed 5% of the Intel gathering assignment already with no resistance to be reported, they however are almost out of fuel and will need to land soon. The Wolf Reg. has landed and has already set up a makeshift base for the night in a large clearing, in the morning the regiment will start its attempt to meet with loyalist troops and decided whether the entire army threatened for use by Orendajo should come or not. For 6 long, hard years the Wolf regiment members have trained, this will be their first experience in a major war but they feel ready for it. The regiment has about 450 men ready for combat. Defenses have been put in place just in case some enemies decide to suprise them.

Azain Wikol-Loyalist Supreme Commander-Loyalist Staging Area
I was alone in my tent once more. Contemplating everything that was going to pass. It was perfect, absolutely perfect. We are receiving as much aid if not more than the communist. And I will make sure these forces and supplies are put to good use. I sat down and lit up a cigar as I let my thoughts wonder. These foreign leaders are all fools. They see a crisis and within two days time twenty nations come bashing in the doors of whomever they think will serve their needs best without a thought to what will happen in the aftermath.

I had a slight chuckle.

They use pretty words like democracy and freedom but they all want their cut. And if I allow them the chance, they will take it. But I wont allow it. There are some old sayings in our language.

'Gaki a nubi all kar.' Meaning how things appear on the surface.
'Meno ben ati pola.' Meaning how things really are.

They only see the surface. And have no idea what things really are. Not even my soldiers know what is happening really. But they do not need to, they need only follow orders.

They only see the smoke and the bodies and they raise the alarms, I know the final Act.
It was then that my commander walked in and saluted. I told him at ease and he gave me the sit rap. And as expected, we gain ever more support. I could not hide my grin. When the officer asked if anything was wrong I just told him to focus on his assignments and he went about his work. I then stepped over to the comms unit and sent a general message to all allied forces.

Allied Message
This is Azain Wikol, Supreme Commander of Loyalist Forces. I think all allied nations for their support against these communist rebels who destroy their own nation. My brave forces, loyal to their commanders, their homes, democracy and Kambana have sacrificed much to allow your forces time to arrive. Please, direct all available forces to the staging areas. We have emergency airfields for planes and helicopters to land. And ports not far from here for ships to dock. However I know that these communist will attempt to drive us into the see, if we march united, as ONE unstoppable force with a righteous cause, we will Triumph! Azat Mulu! Until Victory!

After the brief message I retreated once more to my quarters. These are interesting times.

Interesting times.

Sanura Kaloah-Loyalist Soldier-About 45 Miles North of Loyalist Staging Area
After helping unload supplies my platoon was sent North to help secure villages just across the Loyalist controlled zone. The entire platoon consisted of about 42 soldiers. All infantry as we just lack the armored support to use on simple clearing ops. I was in my green and brown BDUs with my green beret. And my hair tied back in a knot. The AK-103 was slung across on my shoulder and I held it across my chest. A few inches from my breast. I was the only female in my platoon, while women are allowed in the military, it is not overly common.

The dirt road was covered in brush and this area has little infrastructure. I could hear nothing said from the men. They are all veterans. Kambana's region is not the most stable in the world. So most of us are veterans of at least one conflict, but so are the enemy.

We may not have the latest training techniques, but on the job training here means making a mistake will cost you your head. Literally. So, we tend to learn from others mistakes. As the village came into view we could make out the Otosan soldiers. We signaled them to let them know we are friendly, as the communist often wear the same uniform, considering that just days ago we were in the same military.

When we came to them we identified the commander and I spoke to him, as I understand and speak English, as most of my comrades do not.

I stood with my weapon at ease as I got the name of the commander. Then I went on in english.

"Lieutenant Colonel Zarkatia, I am Sergeant Kaloah." I pointed the the very large man, about 6'4 and quite fit Kambanan soldier next to me. "This is Lieutenant Vaal. We were sent by direct orders to assist in clearing operations. I speak both English and Kambani so I will stay close to you, as I will be your translator and link to Kambanan forces. And 'interviewing' enemy rebels as well if needed. So, what are our orders Lieutenant Colonel?"

I said as I awaited a response from the foreigner.

Zarkatia looked surprised, not used to seeing a woman in uniform. He loaded a fresh magazine into his AK-103 as well as a fresh grenade round into his GP-25 grenade launcher. “Well Sergeant Kaloah, I am having seventy-five of my men and three tanks stay back here as a garrison for the village, the rest of the expeditionary force will move forward and we shall need you local Kambanian soldiers to act as our guides and translators as we keep advancing. Do you know the nearest enemy unit’s location? My men are eager to spill some communist blood.” Zarkatia said, his men chuckled.

Aboard the INV Calverta

Admiral Roberts stood aboard the bridge of the Calverta, peering out towards the nation of Kambana in the distance. He had sent a communiqué asking for military access on there lands but had heard no reply, and he had his orders from Imperial High Command. He turned towards his senior communications officer and spoke a simple phrase, “The Eagle has awoken”. With that the communications officer quickly sent out the code phrase to all units part of the Kambana Corps, including the 140th Airborne which would be the first to deploy. After receiving confirmations form all units he turned and spoke to the Admiral, “Sir, all units are go, the 140th will be deploying in a few minutes. Do you wish to proceed with the bombardment?” The Admiral quietly shook his head yes then relaxed into the captains chair and began awaiting the fireworks.

15 minutes later

Aircraft began to lift off from the Calverta and Westwall on missions to remove any confirmed rebel positions near the coastline, dedicating most of the fleets CAG’s to CAS missions in support of the intervention. The fleets Destroyers began launching there missiles at inland communist targets in an attempt to disorganize any resistance to the landings. C130s flew overhead, carrying the 7,500 men of the 140th Airborne which were set to deploy along the coastline in preparation for the remainder of the Kambana Corps which would soon follow.

------

Veteran Sergeant Hester stood in formation in the aft section of the C130, he was attached to the Second Platoon, First Battalion of the 140th. This wasn’t his first drop nor was it his first time in combat, though he knew there were some greens amongst the platoon. Whilst he pondered these thoughts the platoons captain spoke up, “Alright men, I assume you already know much of what our directives are, but lets refresh to make sure. You are to land along the coastline and hold against any assault made by the Kambanan rebels, secondary objectives include attempting to meet up with any allied forces. We have Intel that there’s a gathering of Otosan troops along with some loyalist Kambanan’s. The village they’re holed up in is our platoons target, we land there, rendezvous with them then we await the main force.” All the men acknowledged this then not a minute later, the cargo door on the rear of the plane slid open and the men charged forward, the same happening with thousands of other paratroopers along the coast.

The CNV Catanoch arrived off the African shores, lazily rocking in the gentle current. Her primary objective was to conduct EWSM against communist rebel communications in order to gather preliminary information, should permission be given to the government to commit additional forces. She was also there to prevent any smuggling of weapons to the communist rebels by outside forces.

"Sir, we have radar readings several kilometers northeast. Lots of them." An ensign reported to the bridge.

The captain waved his hand. "Yes, that would be the Firmador vessels. They're only on a humanitarian mission. No weapons, so no need to stop them."

The ensign saluted in confirmation. "Yes sir. There's another one though. This one is unidentified. All alone."

The captain frowned and turned to the ensign. This one he did not have prior knowledge of. "And do we know what class it is? Or who it belongs to?"

The ensign checked the report in his hands. "Very large, cargo vessel size. Unknown affiliation."

"Very well, set a course intersecting theirs and send out a hail."

The ensign saluted and was dismissed to carry out the orders.

The village was stretched out before them, the people living out their lives with absolutely no indication that killers were watching them nearby. Through the scope of his Dragunov rifle, Sergeant Zergyts lazily watched the townspeople below, idly chewing a stick of gum. They'd been on this recon for around three days now, trying to track down an arms dealer who only went by the name of 'Dragon.' While the moniker could stand for anything, it implied a person of Asian descent, and you'd think someone like that would stick out down there. Right?

Wrong.

Kapitan Valery Noskov and his team of VDV (Vozdushno-Desantnye Voyska) paratroopers had dropped into the Kambanan jungle even before the civil war began, and the rest of the kompany were still running around the jungle, managed by their individual officers as they monitored other villages or compounds. And yet, no Asian arms dealer revealed himself.

Nearby, Lieutenant Gurislov cleaned his AEK-971 lazily, the fourth time he'd done so -today-. This was a waste of time and they all knew it, but the kapitan refused to give up when he thought he had a lead. While admirable, it often translated into a rather dogged refusal to give up when he was wrong, and many men of his kompany thought that the answer only truly presented itself because the universe was sick of Kapitan Noskov chasing it for so long.

Nearby, Noskov himself stood in the trees, camouflaged by his green jacket and facepaint as he watched the village through his binoculars. All the kompany's optics had been given a liberal dusting of charcoal to avoid giving away their position by reflection off the lenses, and while this resulted in a rather cloudy view, it kept them well hidden. This 'Dragon' had to be here. The Dominion wouldn't have sent a Special Forces kompany into African territory so far from home if they hadn't been sure. He knew Army Kommand wasn't that stupid.

Suddenly, however, a flash of attention caught his eye, and he swiveled around.

"Zergyts?"

"Da. I have them," the sniper replied, suddenly shifting his aim, still chewing the gum at a markedly slowed pace. Behind the two, Gurislov and the rest of the accompanying Unit slowly came out of their stupor from inactivity. With the rest of the Force deployed in and around the village (around sixty kommandos in all) the others could hardly fail to notice what was happening below them.

From out of the largest hut came several figures. Two were obviously militiamen, emphasized by their ratty Western clothes, the bandanna masks they wore and the beaten, dirty rifles they held. But one was wearing a military uniform, some kind of jungle camouflage. He was definitely a local, and a higher up if their intelligence was correct. His pins shone brightly, and the red beret tilted on his head seemed to go perfectly with his sunglasses. But it was the person he was talking to that caught the Voyostokis' attention.

A woman. An Asian woman, dressed in what was obviously a T-shirt, khaki cargo pants, black combat boots. She wore black webbing with gold trim, and had what looked to be a rather stylized Colt handgun tucked in a shoulder rig. There was no doubt about it. They had 'Dragon.'

Noskov turned to the Unit's comm specialist, Federovich, who was already tuning the radio.

"Signal the rest of the Force. We move in two minutes."
If you're on a submarine in enemy waters, trying to remain hidden, don't start signing the frigging Russian national anthem.

Sanura Kaloah-Loyalist Sergeant-Around the Village
I was just about to respond when a villager came running up. Saying he has information in Kambani. The man was a simple farmer and was wearing ragged clothes that have seen many days in the fields. When he reached me I stood firm and straight as I spoke to him in our native language. He kept mentioning something about a group of armed men who have been in the jungles around here for weeks. That did not sound right, the war started just days ago. When I asked him how he knew this he admitted it was all hear say. But he believes it. And despite my own doubts, I thought it was worth checking out. I stepped away from the man and approached the Otosan officer and explained the situation.

As I did so a soldier in mu unit spoke to me, once more in Kambani. I then relayed the information to Zarkatia.

"Lieutenant Colonel, the soldier says he has received word on the radio that a paratrooper force from an allied nation is nearby. About a half mile south east of here. And they will be heading this way, bringing more firepower with them. It is my recommendation that you hold just long enough for them to arrive and for me to take some men and check out this rumor of possible rebel activity in the brush around us. We wont be searching the roads or open areas but thick terrain in the jungles around here. I can move faster if I bring my own men sir."

I then pulled a radio and matched it with the Otosans. If I find anything or you need me, I will be in contact. Just call when you have additional orders. I then stepped away and gathered five other soldiers and brought them with me as we started to move to the north west. Where these armed men were supposed to be. Just outside the village however I noticed the intense heat of the Kambana weather. And decided I should try to reduce exhaustion and lighten our loads. I turned to my men and ordered them to leave anything not needed. And for an op this short that would be everything but weapons, ammo and a radio.

As they did so I unbuttoned my jacket and dropped it at my side. It was suffocating. And then picked up the AK-103 and considered my second weapon, either a shotgun, or sniper rifle. I liked the shotgun , but I was a superior marksman. And shotguns are better at urban combat anyways.

So I slung the SVD across my back and led the way. My arms and stomach as well as my lower back were exposed now but I could move much easier now. And I was in the field, not a Drill Ceremony. I could afford to be a little more liberal with my uniform. And I gripped my assault rifle in the palms of my hands as we entered the edge of the jungle, which was essentially the moment you stepped out of the village.

Lots of places to hide. I then began to scan the ground and look for broken twigs or moved earth and soil. And was bothered by a certain track. It was human, but if it was civilians the full weight and mark would be left, but these look like someone went through as much trouble as possible to hide them. But they are also somewhat old. A couple days.

I wiped some sweat of my brow and continued down the path, not knowing what we would meet but I was certain that they were not allies of the Loyalist.

Skies above eastern Kambana

Veteran Sergeant Hester pulled the cord to deploy his parachute and felt his body jerk upwards as it fully deployed and slowed his descent. He glanced around and saw most of his platoon joining him on the descent towards the target village, glancing towards the horizon to the east he saw the main force of the 140th being deployed en masse onto the coast. It was a marvelous sight, thousands of parachutes carrying everything from men to MBT’s and artillery. He almost became too phased on the sight and had to quickly turn to get back in formation with his platoon, from the looks of things they were going to land in a small clearing to the northwest of the village.

3 miles off the coast of Kambana
Aboard the INV Emperors Wrath

General Valinius stood atop the AAV staring intently at the coastline of Kambana, he was the commanding officer for all ground forces assigned to the Kambana Intervention Corps as it was now dubbed in ImpHighCom. The order had come down not an hour ago for the operation to commence, according to reports from detachments of the 140th Airborne assigned to the coastal regions the coast was clear for the main force of the corps to arrive. What little rebel presence existed near the coast would have either been forced to flee or attempt to fight the massive airborne assault, but it didn’t matter now. The General had his beachhead secured, a location of suitable terrain for a landing between the loyalist city of Port Kalassa and a staging area to the southwest being used other pro-loyalist forces. Truthfully the General had little faith or desire to work with these other groups but he figured they could at least provide some advantage, no matter how minute it might be. He turned and waved one of his advisors towards him then spoke, “The 140th has secured a beachhead. Send down the order for the 246th to deploy immediately, then follow up with the 319th, I want all our forces on shore by the end of the day.” The advisor nodded and quickly withdrew a radio and began reporting the Generals orders, Valinius turned once again and returned to his thoughts whilst staring at the coastline.

Second Platoons Landing Zone

Veteran Sergeant Hester unclipped his parachute and removed the backpack. Glancing around the landing site he saw most of his platoon was here, though was there bound to be a handful of troopers who were blown off course. Though they would quickly be contacted by radio and informed of the platoons position and ordered to make haste. After helping another trooper get untangled from a small tree he had the displeasure of landing in, Hester attempted to find the platoons Captain, Sigmund Desius. After a quick trek around the LZ Hester finally managed to locate him, leaning over a map with the other two Veteran Sergeants of the platoon debating the next move. The Captain glanced up and upon seeing Hester said “Nice of you to join us Veteran Sergeant, get over here so you know what’s going on.” Hester walked closer to the group and began examining the map, then the Captain spoke again, “We landed about two clicks northwest of the target village, we’re still getting a couple of our guys who went off course here but that shouldn’t take more then another 10 minutes. After they’re here we’re going to proceed with the objective and march southeast towards the village. Everyone got it?” The trio of Veteran Sergeants all nodded in unison with that the Captain dismissed them to ready they’re gear.

As the group was preparing to leave one of the men shouted something about a tank causing the platoon to break into the forest for cover. Hester held his M8 rifle as the roar of a tanks engine grew noticeably louder, finally he saw it and breathed a sigh of relief as it was an Imperial Army Imperator tank. The Captain was the first to withdraw himself from cover and approach the tank, Hester quickly tailed him. The commanders hatch to the tank opened and a man in Imperial military garb climbed halfway out, speaking to the Captain, “Are you boys with the 140th?” he asked, the Captain replied with a stern “Yes, Second Platoon, First Battalion. What unit are you from Veteran Sergeant?” The tanks commander turned to motion the way they had came from, “We were with the Third Battalion of the 140th but we got blown off course. Any chance we could hook up with you guys until we link up with the Third?” The Captain quickly replied that would be no problem and that they were beginning to march to a village not far from there current LZ and with that the platoon withdrew itself from cover, joining the tank and beginning the march towards the village.

Lieutenant Sorscha Dniepr was fast. It wasn't a generalization, it wasn't a boast. It had been revealed in the kompany physical fitness assessment held every month. She was the fastest runner under Kaptain Noskov's command, as well as one of the most vicious CQC fighters. She did the Dominion proud with her work, and fought for the Motherland with all her might. Some might call her reckless, undisciplined and over-aggressive, but others would say that was the reason why she was in the VDV. Whatever the reason, this African jungle made her thrive. Forced to strip everything but her armored vest and tank top from her upper body, the twisted, barbed tattoos along her biceps mapped out her physical strength. While it was known that Voyostakis were tough, strong people, Dniepr was in the higher tier of female physical power.

In fact, running with the PKP light machine gun in hand, she was still faster than either soldier on her flanks. One might wonder why an infiltrator might be using such a large, loud weapon, but the suppressor mounted on its muzzle lent credence to its presence. The rest of the Force was waiting just up ahead, in a series of clearing where she could gather them up from the western flank.

Of course, when all three of the kommandos stopped and listened, they realized something; they were not alone. Ducking into the foliage, they literally disappeared into thin air, watching and waiting. Around the rest of the clearing, Dnieper could see more of her Force, at least an entire Unit's worth lurking in the brush, using the foliage as one might a blanket, naturally and concealing themselves from all but that which could easily spot them.

In this case, the one lurking around in obvious sight, prompting the Unit to conceal themselves, was a dark-skinned woman, moving forward with an AK to her shoulder. Her lack of uniform might at first say she was a militia, but no. She was too fit, too clean even in the jungle to be some communist guerilla. And upon closer inspection, the little clothing she -was- wearing was all some kind of digital camouflage pattern, matching and maintained. She was a soldier, a local fighter of the government. This was a new development.

Across the clearing, practically over the dark-skinned woman's shoulder, Sergeant Uris got Dniepr's attention with a subtle gesture, indicating his question: do we take her out? It was a tough decision to make, since she could easily blow their cover. However, the idea that perhaps she could come in handy (and the minor detail of starting an international incident) also came to mind, and Dniepr came up with an idea. She gestured back her plan, and waited for her sergeants to pass it around. After counting to twenty, however, she finally surged forward.

From around the woman, about fifteen or so other VDV soldiers surged out, suppressed AEK rifles immediately leveled, safeties off. The lieutenant stepped forward, easily handling the machine gun to her shoulder.

"Stop! Nazovite sebya , i ne delat' glupostey," the lieutenant snarled, gesturing for the woman to stand down.

Lieutenant Colonel Zarkatia nodded, “Roger that sergeant, my men and I will wait here until the paratrooper unit arrives.” Zarkatia said. He then turned around and barked orders at his men, who went different ways to once again secure the perimeter. Zarkatia then leaned up against one of the many Taka Class Tanks as he held the radio that Sergeant Kaloah gave him in one hand and his AK-103 in the other.

Eastern Kambana
140th Imperial Airborne, First Battalion, Second Platoon

Veteran Sergeant Hester walked alongside the Imperator MBT, which was leading the formation of second platoon troopers towards the village they were supposed to meet a group of allied forces at. Under normal circumstances they already would have been to there destination but the infrastructure in Kambana, even in the best of places was still meager compared to the Empire, but the platoon pushed onwards towards there objective. After another 10 minutes of marching the Veteran Sergeant began to see the village, and estimated it was only a few more minutes before the platoon would reach it.

Eastern Kambana, 40 miles southwest of Port Kalassa
Dread Imperial Army landing zone

The first of the large hovercraft maneuvered onto the beach at the LZ, unloading the troops and vehicles of the 246th Imperial Army Division. Among these was Initiate Constantine Fulton, a young solider who had just finished his fifth month of training and had been attached to the 246th Division. He had yet to see combat, but he already knew he was willing to lay down his life for the Emperor if required, though he had no intentions of dieing in this small backwater of a nation. The Initiate had disembarked with his squad and was now assembled roughly 100 feet away from the beach, waiting for more heavy armor to arrive before the first detachments of the Division would begin moving inland. He was eager, but nervous at the same time, but his faith in the Emperor and his fellow soldiers was strong, he would not disappoint the Empire.

Veteran Sergeant Hester was relieved that his unit had not been assaulted by any rebel forces along the way to the village. His faith that the platoon would have easily swept them aside was strong, though the lack of cover on the route to the village was concerning to the Veteran. His platoon was just beginning to reach the moderate sized village when the Captain approached him and gave him a simple order of finding the allied commander and bringing him to Captain Desius to contemplate the first allied move on land.

“Over there sir.” One of Zarkatia’s lieutenants said. Zarkatia turned and looked in the direction that the soldier was pointing and saw a platoon of Allied Soldiers approaching them. Zarkatia walked towards the soldiers, with his lieutenant and captain following him. He then shook their hands, “I am Lieutenant Colonel Zarkatia, commanding officer of the 368th Infantry Division. What country are you from and what’s your unit?” he asked.
