We have agreed to commit to the war immediately. We are sending reinforcements as we speak. We are tripling our commitments on the ground and increasing naval presence in the region. We will be as mentioned strategic-smart and minimize civilian causalities as much as we can.
Just as the nation had promised, reinforcements for the war efforts had arrived just as the first missiles began to rain down on our fleet.
10 x Nimitz class Carriers
22 x Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers
12 x Virginia-class submarines
Syike sent cruise missiles that darkened the sky. Using the classic defensive manoeuvres the strike group formed while the Virginia-Class submarines headed straight for the enemy fleet peeling off in no particular direction sending their fleet scrambling to make a formation but submarines were scouring their position. Torpedoes were launched and the deep sea lit up like a Christmas tree in explosions. Their had surely seized the initiative.
The destroyers taking heavy casualities, what was left of them, began to play a game of cat-and-mouse with the enemy Sovremenny class destroyers. The destroyers and peeled out of the defensive and headed south while just out of range from enemy fire but still enough to keep them on the run,
The enemy submarines were no were to be found, a worrying concern for the fleet, super-hornets scrambled from the decks of the carriers in search of them. From a high, the area seemed like a graveyard of burning ships but the battle was only just starting.
To: Slarvanian Foreign Office
We plea for your help on your waters. We have suffered huge casualities to an enemy fleet. The battle is still waging but with already heavy losses we will be overrun within 24 hours if we do not receive help. If we are to send our own reinforcements we are looking at 48 hours minimum until their arrivals.
Our losses stand at;
3 x Nimitz class Carriers
8 x Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers
3 x Virginia-class submarines
Estimated: 2500 KIA, 5000-10,000 Wounded
As yellow flames and blue waves constantly flash against each other, the battle is still young.
Syike Army & Naval Command, Pripjat, Syike
The head Admiral's secretary came rushing into the Admiral's office, documents in hand.
"SIR!"
"What is it?"
"We received word that Old Havana has deployed ground forces and air assets into Shigatase, AND reinforcements arrived to help their fleet. The General recommended that we use the full extent of the cruise missiles on the Konstantinov class ships."
"What does he say we use them on? Those Tomahawks can reach 900 nautical miles."
"He thinks we ought'a use one ship's payload on the rest of Old Havana's fleet, and the other ship's on the Havanian invasion force. He also says to save some for the imperialists."
"Very well. We'll go with his suggestion."
"Alright sir, I'll let him know."
The secretary then goes running out to the General's office.

"Captain!"
"Not now, Petty Officer; there's a war going on."
"Listen, we just got word from Army & Naval command to put these cruise missiles to work!"
"Shit then, what do we use them on?"
The Petty Officer replays the message he received, instructing the payloads to be used on the Havanian fleet and invasion, whilst saving at least 25 missiles to use on the Slarvainians.
"Well alright then."
Both captains of both ships authorize launches, and missiles go soaring through the air and rip apart the Havanian fleet, save for the submarines safely underwater. Meanwhile in Shigatase, a sum of the Havanian invaders are engulfed in the raging fires of war. Sailors cheer as the fireworks burst.
