I kinda reworked somethings with my government. So here is the (mostly) final makeup of C.N.A.W. I decided to change the name so it sounded more like a state and less like a loose association of worlds. I'm also still working on developing my backstory a bit more and reworking/renaming some of the member species.

Mckendree Cylinders:

My nation would be a spacefaring people that mostly resides in ftl capable mobile mckendree cylinders with land area equal to a terestrial planet. Each would have five layers of rotating habitats, organized into two sets of counter rotating sections, all surrounded by a outer multikilometer thick armoured shell. Attached to this behemoth would be massive inertialess drives, ftl engines, defensive weapon emplacements, defensive shields, and countermeasures, and massive antimatter drives. Powering it would be massive fusion reactors ( some as big as twenty kilometers in diameter), massive folding ( approximately 60 the legth of the station, folds for ftl transit ) 90% efficient full em spectrum solar collector arrays/ cooling vanes, with the equipment to collect fuel from stars nebulas etc..

Each would be capable of building starships, cityships, and oniel cylinders, with heavy industry, hanger space, shipyards, and massive cargo capacity. Each would have two massive internal wormhole generators for transfer of materials and cargo ( point to point transit between two generators, intense gravity prevents activation, ala blockholes ), more on that later.

Cityships:
Cityships would be used for mining on planets, sending resources back through, while occasionally setting up permanent outposts. Oniel cylinders would be used for deep space exploration, and mining operations within asteroid fields, and other uninhabitable enviroments. Each oniel cylinder, and cityship would be equiped with a wormhole generator, avd would periodically return to the mckendree cylinders for extensive maintenence and overhaul/ or major repairs.

Central spherical station ( center of government )
Out of four to eight mckendree cylinders, each hosting hundreds of cityships, and dozens of oniel cylinders, there would be a central massive, but yet again mobile spacestation capable of docking the massive mckendree cylinders, and building new ones, while being capable of doing extensive repairs if need be. This massive station would be capable of housing its own inhabitants, with similar facilities as those on the mckendree cylinders, oniel cylinders, and cityships. It would also be the central seat of government, with each mckendree cylinder being the second level of a mostly loosily organized confederation, and or federation. Below this would be the individual cityships and oniel cylinders, yet again mostly autonomous.


Oniel Cylinders etc.:

Each oniel cylinder would also be capable of building cityships and other vessels. Cityships would be capable of moving inbetween mkendree cylinders, oniel cylinders, and the central space station; which would also having docking facilities for all of the above. Individual ships not assigned to the military would be capable of also switching between cityships, mckendree cylinders, oniel cylinders etc. There would be the occasional hollowed out asteroid, biship ring, or even permanently settled planets with large orbital infrastructure, maybe even partial dyson nets.

A majority of the population would live on mobile colonies, but the inhabited planets would have heavy industry, massive arrays of inhabited orbital rings, with their home system have upto four fully teraformed inhabited planets, each with their own orbital ring system connected to a system of upto a hundred and fifty orbital elevators. Each elevator being a base for a densely populated city, with a majority of the planets covered in dense forests. The orbital rings would have a similar setup.

Government

Each planet, mckendree cylinder, bishop ring, or collection of any combination of cityships, oniel cylinders, and/or asteroid colony would have five seats on the senate with equal representation, and a population based number of seats in the house of represantatives. Anyone could run for senator, or represantative as well as president.

The president would be elected by the general pupulation, with the canidates being elected by the senate and approved by the house of represantatives from whomever is running, with ten canidates total. They would be voted to either be vice president, or president. A president, senator, or representative could be voted to be considered for being kicked out of their political office by a general consensus of a majority of the population, any court judge, a majority vote in the senate or house. The decision would then be decided on by a congressional hearing, and approved, or vetoed by the third branch of government ( of it is a senator, the initial hearing is done by the house instead).

Senators are ellected for five year sessions, with a decade waiting period between any other federal offices, while repreasantarive are ellected for two year sessions and must wait eight years between running for political offices. Presidents run for a single ten year term, with a judical overview of the presidents action five years in, which can call a congressional hearing if evidence of wrong wound is found, (consists of a thorough investigation by two out of eight judges which are randomly picked). Judges serve for life, or until they choose to retire ( with maximum term of one century ), and pick a selection of potential successors, approved by the legislative branch. The president then picks from these, or nominates their own if none are nominated by the judge. The senate then approves the decision, which is then reviewed by the house of representatives.

I do have some ideas centered on my IC nation. Basically Minroz got into civil war, split into warlord kingdoms and it's up to the GESO to help rectify the conflict. What do u think?
