Ecoterrorism In The Kapupu Islands

[Kapupu Islands]

For the past six months, the people of the Kapupu Islands have terrorized by an Ecoterroist group called the "Environment Guardian Organization" (EGO). The terrorists have been responsible for attacks on research centers, fishing ports, fishing boats, logging companies, mining companies, SUVs, and other places and things that they claim are harming the environment. More recently, the EGO has increased its attacks, like holding an entire oil platform hostage, sending death threats to Oil Company executives, capturing fishing boats and trawlers, turning off power grids to save the environment and the baby turtles, vandalizing non green homes, destroying gas guzzling vehicles, stealing energy consuming appliances, scaring away tourists from animals, and even chasing away beach goers to preserve beach animals' habitats.

The EGO's attacks have been denounced by the government as "despicable, evil, acts that are harming the country's major industries". The EGO justifies this by claiming that these industries are harming the earth, and by chasing them away, they are saving the environment for future generations to enjoy.

Sandra Stevens, 34, and her Hispanic friend, Isabelle Hernandez, 29, Stevens is secretly a member of EGO, tasked with luring EGO targets into their traps, where they would be killed, kidnapped, or raped if the target (or targets if there were multiple ones being lured) was a woman. Stevens successfully led Hernandez into some nearby bushes where she was raped by two male gunmen, then dragged, with her mouth gagged, her arms tied up, and a plastic bag over her head) to a waiting hybrid van.

“Hmm. Interesting,” Victoria Osborne thought aloud as she read a two-page article in The Standard. It appeared the Kapupu Islands were being stricken by a group of eco-terrorists. Well, it was a break from the usual course of world politics; besides, terrorists were amusing, believing that randomly going on homicidal rampages would solve anything except giving journalists and commentators something to rant about, alongside occasionally causing wars. In this case, any major foreign intervention – if the situation devolved from a mild case of terrorism to full-blown civil war, the latter a cliché in the international climate – would actually cause more pollution to the planet as the resources needed to maintain a military presence in a string of islands would be greenhouse gasses, albeit greenhouse gases whose use could’ve been avoided if a faction of environmental activists hadn’t trespassed the boundary between ‘crowd nobody cares about’ to ‘burn their women and rape their villages!’.

Still, it would be an interesting situation to watch and perhaps make a few friends. Diminoquid was, apparently, sending in two ‘anti-terrorism’ teams to ‘investigate’ the matter. Working with them could start a friendly relationship with a much more influential country.

She turned up from the newspaper to her Secretary, Trevor James. “Sort out with the Double Dees for two anti-terrorist teams to be put at our disposal, then write a communiqué to the poor, poor bastards, please.”

EGO operatives have taken 189 beachgoers prisoner, at 12:30, and led them away to an undisclosed location. The EGO's leaders have declared that the EGO capture foreign leaders in their environmental crusade.
