Welcome to International Incidents' Roleplayer of the year, 2013 edition! This is a friendly competition for the purpose of recognizing and supporting stellar roleplayers throughout the year of 2013. The aim of the competition is to have some fun, build some competitive spirit, and to provide some extra exposure for helpful and interesting RPers!
The rules are simple: each player gets one vote. You are free to provide your own reasoning as to why, but you are not required to. You do not need to provide your own reasoning if someone asks. However, you are encouraged to provide reasons why you voted for that particular RPer. Please, please, PLEASE vote with your mains. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, let me know. If there is a reasonable number of puppets (reasonable left up to myself to decide) or low-post accounts voting in a fashion that I would be concerned, I may close the match for review. Remember, this is all in good fun, so let's have some fun!
A classic Goth matchup is here for you today, folks, as Mentor powerhouse Kylarnatia gears up in the red corner against blue corner’s ever intelligent and capable Ganos Lao! Kylarnatia proved his power by defeating Saurisisia in a landslide victory, but Ganos Lao is no pushover, having prevailed against Fanaglia. Will the new guard triumph over the old guard, or will the Ixanosphere prevail?
"Alright, we're here! Get ready!" The pilot shouted back as loud as he could into the cargo hold to his friend and their passenger, who immediately stood erect, at her imposing height of 6'7". As the light in the hold turned red, the back end slowly began to open up and welcomed in the cold Northern Sea winds. Turning to face the slowly opening hatch, the deadly assassin made her way closer towards it, careless of the risks. The young smuggler who'd accompanied her in the back looked on in partial horror as he held the parachute he was tasked to give to her, which she also knew, but seemed to brush aside.
When he tried to approach, the hatch then became fully open. Then, just as he was about to reach her, the light in the hold turned green, and she removed her long cloak with one unhooking of a chain and immediately belted in down the length of the hold and jumped out of the Hercules, plunging down to the sea below. The young smuggler's shock and horror intensified, as he slowly backed away and the hatch started to close again. His head immediately bolted back to faced the cock pit.
"She just jumped without a 'chute!" He propelled his words as far as he could again, but this time the shock he'd just suffered seemed to weaken his vocal chords.
"What?!" The pilot called back in confusion.
"I said, she just jumped, WITHOUT A 'CHUTE!" He shouted back again, summing up all the strength he could to get the seriousness of the matter across, and this time the pilot heard him, but couldn't respond for a few seconds for he, too, was shocked.
"Wh--Wha--What the hell do you mean she jumped without a 'chute?!" - Purloined Lighting

"Today is your special day!" the Empress said to her daughter in a cheerful fashion. "Today is your birthday!"
Erica loved her mom despite her protectionist tendencies. Mother's tendencies had led to Erica, let alone the other children, being rather cloistered within the walls of the Imperial Court. But Erica liked to listen to her mother's ramblings about fashion. Her voice felt rather melodious, angelic in quality to her ears, and she loved whenever Dad would talk to her about life in Veceria, that distant land where the family occassionally traveled to so they could meet Dad's folks and their cousins on his side of the tree.
As can be ascertained, Erica was brought up amidst much structure and order - the structure and order of her mother and the oligarchs who aspired to maintain their collective position during Erica's reign. The heroes of the revolution who had significant investments that they sought to maintain through the ebbs and flows of Ganosian monarchism. Auntie Allison seemed to be more interested in Erica then she had been in the other children, and it was said that the oligarchs were already planning out contingency plans in case Erica's reign didn't proceed as they hoped it would, but these were so far only mere whisperings amongst Court attendants and nobles and not substantial fact.
As Erica walked out of the room, the court attendants all bowed and wished her well. She could hear them heading to the rooms of the other children, hearing Prince Jakob being all rowdy again, hearing Dorothy and Katherine talking to Felix about Jakob's incident with the family fountain where he used it to fill up his water gun, which he then used on a spree of spraying people all over the palace complex with it.
