My nation is from R&C and Transformers..maybe a bit of Tron as well..

And that is why the KRE adds AI to soldiers to make them seem already trained...

You can't train 24/7 you need time to rest, eat and do basic bodily functions. Training for super long times does not always mean better, you have to find the goldilox zone.

Well I could get involved and shift the tables IMMENSELY.

Giving power armor to your ENTIRE army is well, impossible, illogical and un needed. And just plainly a bad idea.

Impracticable as in you can't really fund making every single suit of armor, testing it, designing it, and training the people to use it
not to mention distributing it.

Illogical as in giving your entire army power armor, why on earth would you do that? It takes all the fun out of power armor, makes it incredibly easy to make a counter to it.

Un needed as you don't need power armor all it does is give your person(s) a better defense and capabilities, there are much easier ways to do so.

A bad idea as in, boom soldier dead. FREE POWER ARMOR!

You've got to be smart about these things, TG me and I can give you some tips.

You realize that Yisuta power armor can only fit Yisuta physique? The Yisuta are BIG.

And dude, don't tell me what to do with my nation, the rank-and-file soldiers wear power armor, the Scouts where a lighter version, that has active camo, and the Kandon wear carapace armor.

That's how I designed the Yisuta military, they made power armor, mainly for protection. As they are already super strong, fast and have a high endurance.

except Necrons are machines and so do not need biological functions. Probably they only need annual maintenance and repair for severe damages, even then the metal they are made of regenerates over time.

I only give Imperial Power Armor to Legionnaires, and select few as it is difficult to manufacture the Imperial version of Power armor which is hand crafted to maintain its quality. So naturally for a military that the Empire has it would be logistically difficult to give every single soldier or personnel Power Armor of that grade or simply a knock off without drastic drawbacks.

You can have Powered Armor in that It protects people from extraterrestrial environments, that's a no brainer there. But simply giving everything super armor is a waste.

Note Power armor I think is fine, its the uber armors I worry about.

Then every time we kill a soldier, boom we get closer to making a way to completly bypass your armor.
Making EVERY soldier have it, is again impossible. Unless it was complete shit witch is the only way you would
be able to get armor to EVERYONE. By cutting lots of corners.

Besides Vortukia, Zein's power armor isn't invincible. Before you try to judge something, maybe you should find out the facts about it first instead of saying "that's illogical".

Civilization Name: The Tribal Union of Thelxinoe

Government Type: Tribal Union of nineteen tribes headed by a confederate government of elected chiefs.
Population: 24.85 Billion

Home World/Capitol: Risetia
Capital Status: Currently transitioning from a centralized government to decentralization for greater autonomy of tribal constituents.
Notable locations and such: N/A
Founding Species: Homo Altharnez Sapiens
Other Species: N/A
=========================================================
Society and Cultural information: Thelxan society is broken down into a tribal caste system - each tribe having its own laws and customs but with the majority of the clans headed by a primary Patriarch or Matriarch who is the de-facto ruler of their tribe. Tribes of the House Godwin sect are heavily militaristic and industrious - often being home to the great military bases and foundries that keep the Thelxan economy thriving. Houses Corelia, Austere, and Rivante are liberal in the loose definition of the word - that being many clans are permitted to pursue their own destinies but individuals are the 'property' of their clan. House Zara is the only real different group of tribes as they are nomadic and rarely settle down onto worlds for colonization but have been a consistent source of pilots, explorers, and merchants for the fledging nation.
Languages Thelx Upper; Thelx Minor, and Thelx Common
Economy: Currently the Thelxan economy is thriving thanks to the growing success of its colonization program and aggressive efforts by its industrious leaders.
Industry: Primary industrial efforts are focused on the creation of new cities and upgrading of existing civic structures but there has been a growing trend towards the construction of planetary based mass divers, orbital stations, and the hollowing of asteroids and planetoids for further colonization.

Strengths: Stable government, unity of action, industrial strength
Weaknesses: Less personal freedoms hence a growing decrease in the sciences, arts, and creativity.
=========================================================
Map Claim Size: 2
Grid Coordinates: M13
Map Claim Color: Red or Green (any variation of either color will do)

Colonization/expansion: The Union is actively growing via colonization and expansion efforts directed at nearby systems. As many worlds are not usually habitable for human-like creatures in the Thelxan AO, the Thelxans have begun the utilization of massive terraforming units to accelerate growth and expansion of the Thelxan Union. Concurrently further colonial projects have been placed on a temporary hold to allow for an increase in the Thelxan Interstellar Navy to meet the security needs of its future colonies.
=========================================================
Foreign policy: Hostile/Afraid of Non-Humanlike species.
Diplomacy: None

=========================================================
Military Information: The Thelxan Military is a decentralized force with loyalties to its tribes first, houses second, and nation third. There is no existing army other than the tribal militias and a small corps of Marines that report either to their House Chiefs or, rarely, to the government. Other than the Thelxan Marines there is no fixed structure of the army as tribes are tasked with their own security concerns and generally left alone by their House and Government leaders. The exception being the Thelxan Interstellar Navy which operates and tactical and strategic element of regulars across five fleet commands and nearly two thousand ships, and the tribal expeditionary squadrons which operate as a paramilitary, reserve force that can be assimilated into the regular navy in times of war. The TES forces constitute nearly nine thousand vessels (mostly of lighter cruisers and frigates, though some tribes can afford to operate heavier craft). All toll between Regular, House, and Tribal forces there is roughly eleven thousand ships, forty-eight million troops, and over three hundred space stations and shipyards to service and house them.

Strengths: Highly Trained Regular Force, Flexible, Independent Units able to operate without higher command.
Weaknesses: Decentralized force leading to increased time to coordinate forces, small regular component, combat readiness of tribal formations less than their regular cousins - leading to increased time for mobilization in the event of war.
=========================================================
NS activity: Recently Restored
Technological Bases: Mass Effect, BSG, Halo

Hey guys, I'm an intermediate RP'er who is looking for some quality writers to learn/grow with. I'm a big FT fan, and I'll be using a parasitic species not unlike Yeerks or the Gou'ald. I am, however, not totally accustomed to this style of map and claims, and would appreciate some advice. I wouldn't be opposed to be assigning a smaller section of space.

Civilization Name: The Rethani Collective

Government Type: Collective, Caste-based Oligarchy. The Sacho Orbis (The Circle) has near absolute military, diplomatic, and administrative power over the Collective. Its nine members are chosen based on competency and generally come from a variety of backgrounds. A six-member majority is required to take a course of action. There are three castes that carry out and enforce the ordinances of the Circle: Bacari, Iustici, and Colabri. The Bacari are chiefly responsible with administrative and bureaucratic duties. The Iustici are the Rethani equivalent to police, magistrates, and attorneys and mainly enforce Rethani law within the collective. Finally, the Colabri are the Collective's diplomats; spies and envoys are also Colabri.

Population: 3.7 trillion

Home World/Capitol: Rethan Prime (usually Rethan or the Mother World) is the homeworld and Adonis is the adopted capital planet.
Capital Status: Adonis is a relatively small. terrestrial world, notable for its variety of climates and organic life. Its cities are large and dazzling, as every architectural detail is carefully planned. The Circle governs from their capital of Adonis City, an artificial settlement intentionally placed between the Gulf of Jarii and the Tovani Mountain range. The rest of the planet is dotted with small, environmentally considerate cities. The planet's main industries are ecotourism, hydroponic agriculture, and scientific research. Adonii (people from Adonis) are generally seen as gentle and intelligent, if condescending.
Notable locations and such: Rethan Prime- The marshy homeworld of the Rethani. Though largely urbanized, the local authority has gone through great lengths to protect notable landmarks and cultural sites. It is common for a set of Rethani parents to travel to Rethan to have their children.

Station R19- a semi-secretive research laboratory located in a remote sector of Rethani space. The station is large and many experiments are conducted within. It is defended by a perimeter of orbital defense satellites and a small fleet of patrol vessels.
Founding Species: The Rethani
Other Species: Various host species (mostly Humans)
=========================================================
Society and Cultural information: Rethani culture is rigid and altruistic. Individualism is discouraged, and personal advancement is always secondary to the collective good. Rethani that deviate from this are generally looked at with distrust and shame. This intense interdependence likely stems from the Rethani's physical fragility. Order is also highly valued, and the Rethani have divided themselves into function-specific castes. Notably, the Rethani do not possess traditional gender roles or even a concept of family. Children are taught to love all of their brethren equally.

An empirical and rational people, the Rethani are natural scientists and engineers. Medicine, biological science, construction engineering and architecture are the obvious strong-points of the civilization. They also make competent soldiers due to their discipline. As a species, they have a deep respect for nature and most of their technology reflects this. They have never been a superstitious people, but most Rethani believe in a spiritual life force that ensures balance and justice throughout the galaxy. It is also a common belief that nothing should be left unquestioned.

Another huge part of Rethani society are hosts. In the natural form, the Rethani are tiny, fragile creature that rely on sentient hosts to move, see, and other seemingly basic physical functions. They acquire their hosts through a variety of means, both voluntary and otherwise. Once a suitable host has been found, an emperi (scientist or physician) makes an incision and allows his Rethani brother to latch on to the host's brain stem. Alternatively, a Rethani can enter through the ear canal, but this is generally seen as barbaric and uncivilized. Once the Rethani has successfully attached itself to the brain, it takes control of the host. This can take seconds or hours, depending on the willpower of the host. Once the "pilot" has become comfortable, he will have access to the host's memories and thought process. There are only minor physical changes after the joining. A thin silver or gold ring may form within the irises of the host, though the size, intensity, and color of the ring is a genetic trait. The host's stength and speed are also augmented slightly, as the pilot has full control over the muscles and is not as limited by fatigue or pain. It should be noted, however, that the Rethani prefer to treat their hosts with caution and great restraint.

It is widely debated whether or not the host is technically alive after this point. Though it loses all motor and vocal functions, the host's emotions and thoughts are sort of melded with those of the pilot. Occasionally, a Rethani is removed from it's host for medical or disciplinary reasons, but this practice is not common place. It is not uncommon, however, for a Rethani to become attached to their host and remain melded for the entirety of their life.

Languages Rehtani is a telepathic language that is mainly spoken between unpaired Rethani or when secrecy is essential. They have a simple written alphabet of 34 characters. All pilots speak the languages of their hosts, and many Rethani children learn common alien languages as part of their standard education.
Economy: Good. The economy is communistic in nature, so it is difficult to measure in traditional terms. Virtually all Rethani meet their basic needs without hardship.
Industry: The Collective controls nearly a dozen industrialized worlds and several orbital shipyards. Production is set at level 5, which indicates normal manufacturing.

Strengths: United, medically advanced, and highly specialized
Weaknesses: Totally interdependent, dependent on hosts, generally view other races as misguided and brash

Map Claim Size: 3
Grid Coordinates: P 15,16 and Q 15
Map Claim Color: Whateves...white or silver

Colonization/expansion: The Rethani are constantly looking for systems with much needed natural resources, as well as worlds with biodiversity and potential hosts. It tries to colonize uninhabited worlds, but the Collective is willing and able to conquer planets that they need.
=========================================================
Foreign policy: Neutrally. The Collective is not aggressive, but it will act in its best interests regardless of the expense to other powers. They will willingly work with other civilizations if it is in the best interest of the galaxy as a whole.
Diplomacy: None so far (seeking a human nation)

=========================================================
Military Information: The Rethani military is based on single philosophy. The faster the better. For most ground operations, small commando strike teams are deployed. When in a defensive situation, larger numbers of less specialized foot soldiers and artillery pieces are deployed. The Rethani use energy based blaster weaponry, as well as energized melee weapons when combat become personal.

The Rethani Armada abides by a similar policy. Most of its ships are small, well-shielded, and nimble, yet they lack in heavy weaponry and armor. The Armada utilizes its impressive carriers and fast frigates to compete in larger scale battles

Strengths: Nimble, maneuverable forces; skilled commando strike teams
Weaknesses: Relatively small, lacks in heavy armor
=========================================================
NS activity: Moderate, mostly weekends
Technological Bases:Yeerks, maybe the Gou'ald, tech from the Host, maybe some Star Wars/Trek; nothing too advanced

Species Name: Rethani
Appearance: Coming soon.
Biology and anatomy: About three inches long, a Rethani is a translucent, worm-like creature with many long, luminescent cilia-like "legs". They have a small but very dense and well developed brain, three hearts, a lung, a simple digestive track, and hermaphroditic sex organs. They prefer damp, cool places. Reproduction is simple, and once a "female" has been fertilized, she will lay an egg a few weeks after. Eggs are minuscule and very fragile, so they are usually held in an incubator. After 4 months, the egg hatches and the Rethani takes on a larval form for a year. During this time, it begins to mature and absorb key nutrients. Once this time has passed, a Rethani will complete its metamorphosis and be fully grown physically.

Average Height: 2-5 inches long
Average Weight: 1.84 grams

Natural Defenses/Abilities: The ability to "meld" with sentients by attaching themselves to the brain stem. The "pilot" gains full motor control of the host, as well as access to all its memories. The process varies based on a variety of factors such as the willingness of the host. See Societal information in the nation application for more details about melding.
Unnatural abilities: None other than enhanced lifespan due to medical advances

Respiratory Gas: Nitrogen
Base composite Element: Carbon

Ethnic Variations: None
=========================================================
Life Span: 100-120 years
Reproduction: Slow
Intelligence Level: High
Traits/Behavior/Disposition: Rethani are generally civil, patient, and inquisitive. They are also very honest, but they do not express their emotions in dramatic displays.

Type: Invertebrate Neural Parasite

Aggression: Low

Society and Cultural information: See nation app, I can add more and probably will as the RP goes own.

Your the one that started it.

And you all the sudden care about logic?

May I point out the Hades Cannons?

And the Ghost soldiers?

Just let Zein have his power armor, for all we know it could simply be like a life sustaining suit. Like armored astronaut suits.

The point being, just don't say no to someone's creativity just because he slaps on, "Power armor."

Its not like he's going to have entire worlds filled with Mjolnir armored people.

Really the exact definition of power armor is: Armor that has a power source to enhance the wearer in some way or form. The Empire has power armor for industry, civilians with disabilities, the vacuum of space, etc.

So powered exo-suit and power armor are rather synonymous and the exact definition up to the RPer.
