I don't know. Can I still mention the British Empire annexing the colonies? and am I allowed to mention my country's involvement in historical events, or do I have to steer clear of any mention of RL history? That sounds very restrictive for a defense alliance.

On Remnants, I'd be ok with him joining, the only major problem is his membership in the STO, the RL stuff is minor things which I tend to nitpick about. Why don't we put it to a council vote?

I thought we are suppose to be in this together. No offense do't join a military coalition if you don't wont to get involved in unwanted conflicts, Majority rules.

I was under the impression that this is a defensive alliance, actually. Perhaps you think the idea of safeguarding democracy is to forcefully suppress other political beliefs, but I don't. I see no threat to the integrity of any present Western Coalition member, so there is no direct threat, is there? Of course, the xenophobic reactionism within one's self immediately hears the word "facism" and rushes to "defend" the country oppressed by it. Yet you get all offended when someone speaks out against a hard-left alliance. Interesting, indeed.

Yes there is a threat to a member: Aravea!!!! Their own people are being killed. Out of everyone here I am probably the most left so don't even try to try and start an internal fight for no reason. You don't want to participate in this issue so be it. But I am under the impression that a defense alliance means that if my nation is under threat from an external or internal dispute I still have allies that I can count on. At least that is the kind of security that the A.G.K.F came seeking.
