The Primarchs helmet took most of the acidic blood but some of it burned his cheek with a loud "GAH!" Heard from him. He let go of the Imperator only to take the knife out of his stomach and throw it into the Imperators kneecap.

The Imperator, as he was pinned down and in pain, managed to say,"Primarch...enough of this petty....fighting. If you join forces...with me...I can make you....a god."

The Primarch simply looked at the Imperator,
"No I believe in the cause of freedom from oppression for the entire galaxy. The Architects reign on this universe is over, I will pave the way to a new light."
The Primarch began limping towards the crucible.

"Beware, Primarch," the Imperator said. "You will be tempted. You must...choose."

The Primarch looked at his choices,
He could end it all right now but at what cost? He remembered a certain Architect who he still never met talking to him in his mind...
Would you be ready to lay down your life for the galaxy?
On the other hand he could become a god.

As the Crucible came online, it's A.I. offered him two choices: defeat the Architects and save the universe at the cost of his life, or be given control of them and become immortal and god-like, but corrupted. Then, the A.I. went offline. The fate of the universe now rested on the Primarch's shoulders.

An end once and for all.

Postby Vortukia » Sat Sep 21, 2013 11:06 pm

The Primarch had come this far to stop them, even if it meant giving up everything he had.
"I choose life for the Universe"
He said grabbing one handle in his hand, feeling the energy coursing through him, he then put his other hand on the other conduit.
The energy was to much and his hand lost his grip, but he put it back on. All that was waiting was him to pull the handles down,
he could feel the energy coursing in him visibly conducting off him.
It felt, warm, like he was laying in the sun.

As the Primarch grasped the controls, the Imperator would look in awe.

No, no...it can't be. Defeated at the hands of a single man. I...have failed my race.

And the Crucible would begin to charge up.

The End of an Era

Postby Vortukia » Sun Sep 22, 2013 2:02 pm

Notice: For maximum badassness please listen to the following song while the ending plays out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7bANMHnPUk

The Primarch gripped the handles tightly and could feel the surge of energy rushing through his body.
He saw his life flash before his eyes, his loved ones, his friends and all he had done. Was he really about
to give this all up? For the good of the universe he kept telling himself.
It is time.
The voice in his head told him, it was finally going to be all over, all the death and destruction and the Architects
would finally be gone.

He lurched his hands forward activating the crucible and the energy coursing in him was to much, the energy coursed
through him and he could feel himself slowly fading away. He let out a large yelp of pain. And almost lost his footing but
soon corrected it.
The Beam Fired

A large blue beam with the power of the Crucible and Citadel's energy sending the large station into darkness,
the beam flew forward and then erupted into a wave of energy that began to spread, it grew and every harvester
it touched exploded into ash and the ones on the ground of planets fell over and began to turn to ash.
The Architects were also turned to ash most likely shocked at their defeat.
Most of the Drones died but some of the strongest dropped their weapons and tried to figure out who and what they were now.
The Annihilators stopped dead in their tracks before turning to energy.
The war was over, and we had won.

5 Minutes after Crucible blast....
Admiral Hackett saw the blast and it was time to let the other races know, he walked over to a terminal and
broadcasted a message to the entire galaxy.
The war is over. The Architects have been defeated. Against all odds, and in the face of the greatest threat this Universe has ever known, we survived.
The victory had come at a great cost; there was not one person in that crowd who had not been effected by the carnage that the Architect had caused. We suffered many losses. The Citadel and worlds are severely damaged, but we won. This victory belongs to each of us... every man, woman, and child. Every civilization, on every world in every galaxy. Now, as we take our first steps toward restoring what we lost, we must remember what it took to win. This was not a victory by a single fleet, a single army, or even a single species. If this war has taught us anything, it is that we are at our strongest when we work together. And if we can put down our grievances long enough to stop something as powerful as the Architects, imagine what we can achieve now that they are defeated. It will take time, but we can rebuild everything that was destroyed. Our homes, our worlds, our fleets and defenses. All of this - and more. Together, we can build a future greater than any one of us could imagine. A future paid for by the sacrifices of those who fought and died alongside us. A future that many will never see. And while we still have many challenges ahead of us... We can face them together. And we will honor those who died to give us that future.
And no one should ever forget the sacrifice of one man, who laid down this life for eternal suffering to make this victory happen, The Primarch.
His sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Because life is short, but memories are Infinite.

The last great Primarch....
So it's finally over, after so much fighting and preparing it's over.
The Galaxy let alone the Universe will never be the same, the friendships
and alliances formed in the heat of battle will never go back to the way they were.
All we can do is hope to move on.......

Because life may be temporary, memories are Infinite.......

The Citadel:
Hio, moments before the Crucible's use, was defending him, his fellow senators, and the Imperial Princess with nothing more than a pistol. He and his group of guards were minutes away from running out of ammo. They were reduced to hiding in destroyed doorways and fallen peaces of wall for cover. Then, suddenly, the Drones attacking his group were vaporized in a brilliant blue flash, forcing his men to turn away for that moment in time, to only find their foes gone. One sat there, dumb struck, muttering in an alien language. They spared him, and Hio ordered him to be treated for his wounds. He and his group of senators and Imperials meet up with other bands of men. Then they began to figure out what happened. The Architects were no more. They all rejoiced. Above the Citadel, the Engi Confederation fleet silenced their guns, shocked by the sight they just beheld. The fighter pilots, men and woman on the Engi fleet rejoiced, having saved their race from extinction. Adama was in shock. However he had little time to rejoice. He ordered the Senators in the Citadel to be picked up, aid to be sent to the planet below, and whatever was left of the Architects to be taken into Engi custody. They would soon rejoice, along with the other 62 worlds and 2.4 Trillion Engis around the Galaxy. However, he remembered the lost. The souls that were sent to his death by his orders, and the ones he could not protect. He remembered New Engia, the sun rising over the red soil of the world below, the white clouds, and lights of billions of homes. They have lost a lot, but they would prosper soon enough.

Engio:
The Senate rejoiced. They were all in the chamber of the space station cheering, pouring wine and other drinks. However, many of them were still unsettled. They had a job to do, to rebuild, to grow, and to take back what they have lost. They too remembered the billions under their rule that perished in battle, or died living their lives like always. They all swore to prevent this from happening again, to work together, and to work for their race, not their desires or greed. They needed to establish a new capital. Debates were up for where it would be.

Toran:
The garrison fleet relaxed, and the planet below rejoiced. Almost everyone was in the streets, rejoicing in their victory. All of them were happy and proud to be alive, and to be one of the few races that managed to beat back the Architects with the little arms they had. This was of cource, before New Engia was blown up. Engis that left they planet returned home, all of them proud to be back.

New Engio, New Engia's former star system.

The clouds of gas and heavy elements were all around. Due to the super nova, more elements were formed here, and the former star system was a gold mine for heavy elements. Many science vessel explored they system, and some mining ships did the same. Government ships even combed through the ruins, hoping to find Architect ships and wrecks. They were invested in unlocking the technology of the Architects, no matter how long it took. Billions died here, and maybe this former system had the means of launching a renaissance of technological and economic breakthroughs.

Hope

"It is over..." Eldenor said to his surviving race, proclaiming victory. Now it was time to rebuild. Eldenor walked into the great Infinity Nexus Chamber, holding up his arms to the Eldar assembled. All in the room drew upong their reserves of power, running the great machine. In a flash of light, Hope disappeared, reappearing far, far away from the galaxy. It was time for the Eldar to again assume the stance of isolation. But this time something would be different. They would not be idle while the galaxy churned with development, and were forgotten in myth. No; they would build, and establish a stronghold that would never again fall.

Hope floated in the abyss, surrounded by the returned shipyards. The great Eldar fleets hovered around it, preparing for the ceremony that was about to take place. From space 10 Infinity Ingress descended into the Nexus, appearing near isolated worlds in the galaxy. Dormant, they would stay hidden until the galaxy was deemed ready for their return. One by one, they appeared at their locations, their worlds below them.

At once, when that was finished, the construction began. Teeming masses of Fabricators rose from the gas giant-sized station, setting about building other planets and stations. It would take long; but after, there would be a solar system with no sun, drifting in the void. Eldenor sat in the high peak of Hope, watching the great works around him. Turning, he set his armor in its stand, and rested. He would be needed again, but for now... he could... rest...

It was him...

Postby Vortukia » Sun Sep 22, 2013 2:57 pm

It was him...
The Vortukian soldiers were going through footage and what they saw was mind blowing,
the witnessed the Primarch in his final moments making the ultimate sacrifice to stop the Architects.
They passed the knowledge through the chain fast and it was given to Hackett. Hackett didn't say a word
only got onto the communicator and sent one more message to the galaxy.
We have conformation that the Primarch was there at the firing of the Crucible,
we also have conformation he made the final push and sacrificed himself so that
it would fire, we all owe him our lives.

Palaven

The Masaki Family saw the great flash of light from the Crucible, and after it fired, a great rift in the Force was felt, it seemed far more clearer than before "Sanji, did you feel that?" Ryaku asked. "Yes, i did, it seems that the Force is finally back in balance after all of these years." Sanji stated.

Palaven Orbit

With the Destruction of the Architects at hand, the Necrons, Sabaoth Squadron, and Dark Jedi all let out a wild cheer, some of the Shipmates embracing each other "Finally... Finally the bloodshed ends!!!" Quimond yelled.

(4) Fading Into Darkness

When the news came that the Crucible fired, the Taron battlegroup and Wurjagast-Rockpop were recalled back to Daskoxyan, and the Citadel reinforcement mission aborted. The firing received slightly relieved applause from the untouched populace, yet the nation's involvement in the scenario was still hotly debated among some groups. As time went on the debates cooled and the invasion was soon forgotten, and Daskoxyan continued as it had for millenia before. Some marks were left, though: true battle experience from the battered Rockpop, refinements for certain simulations run by the warring supercomputers of Daskozhantyka and Xyndaku, and refreshed defenses across the nation's space from the invasion preparations.

Similarly on the realspace side of the bubble, recollections of any Daskoxyani help or contact soon faded away, forgotten, and any records, corrupted. The time quickly arrived when any knowledge of Daskoxyani existence had dissipated, and few in Daskoxyan could recall the countless deaths and shattered worlds left by Architect might.
