The 1st Btln of the 1st (Michael) Regiment pressed the attack on the border post with all due zeal, the regiment had brought extreme firepower to the battle against the insurgents. They had flame throwers and they put them to use in the assaults against fortified border positions that did not seem to be willing to crack. The insurgents were few in number but they were well dug in. The Templars had been given heavy artillery and rocket launchers from the government. BM-30 MLRS vehicles rained down fire on the enemy.

The infantry advanced towards the border post, BP-134, the post on top of a 134 meter high ridge with a villiage, now abandoned around it. The troops moved forward weapons blazing from cover to cover up the hill. It was a relentless advance, artillery was called down on the position shattering it. Another victory for the shock troopers.

The fighting continued as the ten thousand Syrian army infantry soldiers continued their onslaught on the entrenched smaller insurgent forces, assaulting each of the border posts present. Entire sections of these buildings were blasted, reduced into realised rubble whilst inflecting serious losses on the Syrian forces. However not serious losses enough.

Further clashes ensued for the next sixty minutes until the last ten insurgents per border post approximately, dropped their weapons, thence surrendered. The McNernians pressed a relentless assault, the artillery was delightful in the eyes of their allies, they had heard of the possibility of an assault on Israel State but the Qutibists were the foe that would have to be dealt with.
