Don't destroy them yet. Those one million ships are a crucial part of the upcoming plot. Besides, we could replace them all within an hour, maybe even less.

I don't think you quite grasp how big 1 million is. To accomplish that, you would need to produce almost 300 ships PER SECOND.

Exactly. If the Architects can steam-roll entire galaxies, then they would need to have manufacturing capabilities that are this big.

So, one ship per shipyard every day?

You only need seven thousand two hundred shipyards to reach that rate, assuming all are rather slow and only produce a ship at a time.

There are four hundred billion stars in the Milky Way.

That's a startlingly unadvanced Precusor race.

Why wouldn't he though?

Let's say, for instance, your average shipyard consumes two hundred million kilos of mass every day. The Sun, our sun, has 2x10^30 kgs of matter, enough to provide for the needs of said shipyard for 27,400,000,000,000,000 millenia via stellar lifting.

He builds seven thousand two hundred shipyards around that single star, providing those million ships in an hour. They still can use the resources of that single star for their needs for 3,800,000,000,000 millenia.

Except most of the resources in the star consist of hydrogen... And since he just invaded this galaxy, it's implausible that he would have thousands of shipyards already constructed. Mostly because he hasn't RPed building them.

You're saying he can't even perform atomic transmutation?

Eh, whatever floats your boat.

I'm saying, from the text I've read in the IC, he hasn't set up massively-shielded facilities orbiting a sun, slowly draining it of huge amounts of hydrogen to convert to other materials. If you can find a place he says this, then he may have thousands of production plants. Until then, however, I'm going to assume he does not.

Have you forgotten that I can always move reinforcements into the Milky Way from other galaxies we have previously invaded?

He has a point, the Architects have always been around, they have had the time to amass ridiculously large fleets and ridiculously large production rate potential in a period of total war which he hasn't quite followed through with yet.

The Final battle and all it's glory will take place this weekend,
First Imp needs to post.

Here is what we know of the final battle so far...
-It will be at Palaven
-The Citadel will be captured and taken to Palaven
-MOAR HARVESTERS
-MOAR!
-It will require all of us.

Since I haven't used any of my Warhammer ships, all five of them will be there.
The final battle will destroy four of the five of them, and the last one will be brutally damaged.
And, Vor, are you done thinking about whether or not I can rebuild the one surviving Warhammer Ship with Architect tech in the Next IC?

Once Vortukia activates that A.I., that will be the signal for the Architects that the Crucible will soon be completed or is completed, and thus they they will transport the Citadel to Palaven.
