In the middle of the day, high-noon, a new ship pulled into the Alexlantian port alongside the rest of the UWS that was there. It was different from the others, as it had no guns. In big white letters, its name was proclaimed "UWSN Broadcast".

The citizens of Portland ran up to the docks, watching. They cheered and yelled, jumping up and down.

The Broadcast was a special ship. It was designed to route information and internet from the UWS to anywhere in the world. It now began doing this, using its massive routers to provide internet back to the main routers in Alexlantis. The captain also sent out a message to the Alexlantians.

"This is Captain George Franklin of the Broadcast. If you need to urgently access any file servers, bring them to my ship and I can have my technicians work with you to recover the data."

Armed soldiers carried cables, files, and computers to the ship. A good deal of the financial records were saved, but a whole third of the records were ruined and destroyed by the virus. Criminal records were also brought forth.

The source of the virus had finally been traced. Several more sinister copies of the virus was being sent back. Along with them came missiles and airlifted troops, due to the military connection still being intact. A few small towers were set up, making the signal stronger. Missiles were launched and planes were prepped, ready just in case.The missiles could not be hacked, but could be re-routed should need arise. Any attack upon Alexlantis or ally nations would be impossible from even behind the controls, so the only possibilities would be space and the ocean. The missiles flew towards Sand Island, shooting along the sky. The viruses shot along the line quicker, reaching the servers and hacking away at security. They closed the connection behind them, making a complex web and path and insuring that by the time the path could be found, the viruses would have either completely destroyed the computers and data or have been long gone and untraceable.

Sand Island

Mr. Tanner breathed deeply. They had found him, as he expected. The virus was attacking the servers, but it didn't matter. Mr. Tanner had already wiped the servers. The virus was attacking nothingness. As the missiles flew towards the island. He sighed a deep breath again. He pressed the buttons in front of him and typed in a code.

He had time for a final breath before the nuclear devices hidden beneath the base detonated. The nuclear explosion tore the island to pieces, a good few minutes before the missiles struck it. The nuclear bombs exploded upwards, tossing huge chunks of the island up into the sky. The hellfire obliterated any evidence of the island.

The missiles that hadn't hit their target plunged into where the island used to be. The location was marked, and all satellite images of the area were saved. Once the Internet came back, the images would be sent back to Earth and analyzed.

Workers began setting up signal towers and the techies were busy rebuilding the Internet connection.

The Broadcast did its job, giving internet for the people of Alexlantis. The UWS soldiers brought relief supplies.

The people were thankful and accepted the rations.The Internet came back up quickly and the value of the Magic Shell slowly (but visibly) came back up. Computers were being fixed, as well as any other damaged electronics, starting with the most important.

Unnamed Island, 1,500 miles from any land-masses

The heavily armored soldiers, clad in black and silver power armor, looked up at the black sky. Suddenly, over the roar of the wind, the sound of helicopter blades could be heard and the lights of a helicopter appeared. A few seconds later, a massive black helicopter, with the Genesis logo on the side, landed. As the rotor blades slowed, the door slid open and a man in a dark suit stepped out. He looked at the bright lights of the facility that sat before him and smiled. Soon, it would be time for the Resurgence.

Golden Point City

Things continued to be rebuilt as the UWS airlifted in supplies and such, helping with whatever they could.

"Yes sir. I had the engineers replace the steel bonds with titanium-chromate ones."

"Ahh. Excellent. And what about the overheating issues with the fusion core?"

"Fixed. We doubled the flow of liquid nitrogen to the reactor and increased the pump's power from 100 gallons to 200 gallons. Oh, and we also added a secondary cryogenic system that can be used to flash freeze the reactor in case of an emergency. This does cause the system to literally shutdown, but thats better than a meltdown."

"Of course. Any other modifications?"

"We rewired the circuits with copper-bound gold-filaments with a built in surge protector system to prevent the system from being damaged by EMP pulses or energy weapons. As for offensive capabilities, our experimental mass driver system was hooked up to it. And the other weapons you requested were also added. Defensively we've added anti-missile lasers, sniper-detection systems and sniper-elimination systems, and a few other goodies."

The man smiled. "Perfect. Soon, vengeance will be ours."

President Scott smiled at Alkovan across the dinner table (OOC: I'm just assuming that they've started dinner). "Wonderful home you have here. I can't wait to see what is for dinner."
