"Ah. Well, I'm sorry to hear that they were subjected to such labor. They will be released at once, once we are sure you have the security measures in place to transfer them safely back to the UWS."

"Well, the UWS army is right in Golden Point. I am sure that they can handle such things."

[Alexlantis]

"Alright, if I can see your badge and identification, then you can leave and take the Genesis soldiers with you."

[Alexlantis]

[Unified Western States]

The Justice handed the ID card over, then pulled out his phone. He spoke for a few moments, then turned back to the warden.

"Well, looks like they're yours for a little while longer. The court is deciding whether or not to allow them to return to the UWS"

[Alexlantis]

"Alright. We'll keep them captive until then. Is there anything you'd like? A drink, perhaps?"

[Unified Western States]

"Yes, some water would be great." The justice looked around.

"I noticed that you seemed to be in lockdown when I arrived."

[Alexlantis]

"Well, one of the Genesis soldiers said that company was arriving and we assumed the worst. Security's been pretty high since January you know." The Warden said, handing the man a glass of water.

[Unified Western States]

"Indeed. It is totally understandable for a nation in your position." He downed the water. "Well, I am going to stay here, try and sort this whole thing out with the Supreme Court so we can get these fiends out of your country"

[Alexlantis]

"Ah, well thank you. We'd be happy to hand them off to you, but we don't want them causing your nation a problem, so we're pretty much stuck in the middle."

[Unified Western States]

"Yes. Sadly, our constitution is a bit too liberal for my tastes, with all of these rights, even for prisoners. But, it is how it is, so i have to wait for my companions back in Seattle to decide what to do."

[Alexlantis]

"Ah. Rights are a double-edged sword. They give people freedom, which is good, but also bad. They can do more things and craft their way around justice with too many rights. However, not enough rights and it's just terrible. Sadly, the two appear to overlap."

"Indeed. Such is the falter of democracy."

high Security Areas

In one of the heavy cells, a man, about 25, sat silently in his cell, not eating, drinking or sleeping. He had perfectly defined features, with deep grey eyes, short brown hair and a well defined face. He could have been a model if he wasn't in jail. He was one of the Elites, the most heavily genetically modified of the Genesis army. This particular one was the overall commander of the Elite forces, but without any ID, it was impossible to tell. He spent the entire time in his cell just staring at the wall or off into space.

High Security Areas
A tray slid through the small food slot, which was then closed and locked again. "Lunch. Bon Apetit." A young woman's voice said. Upon examination, the Elite saw that the food was a plate of gruel with a small, sad and lonely looking piece of parsley stuck in the middle, not really belonging. A plastic water bottle was there also, paper tag ripped off.

The Elite just looked at it, then pushed it to the side, along with several other rotting and uneaten trays of food.

[Alexlantis]

Once dinner came around, it was time for weekly inspection. The Genesis soldiers were cuffed, moved into the hall, x-rayed and scanned, and their cells were examined and cleaned.
"Hey. Somethin's wrong with this one. He ain't eatin'."
"Get him to the Doc's."
"A'ight." The soldier said, turning to the Elite Genesis soldier. "Alright, come on, you. Doctor visit. Maybe a sandwich if you're good." The soldier said. He lead the Elite down to the Medical Ward.

The Elite, who was about 6'11, followed, his eyes just staring into the distance. He was silent, his movements precise and almost robotic.

At the Medical Ward, nothing was deemed physically wrong with him. He was then led off to the Psychologist.

[Unified Western States]

Once again he followed, as stoically and obediently as ever.

[Alexlantis]

"Alright, what seems to be the problem?"
"This guy's not eating, sleeping, nuthin', Doc."
"Alright. First, what's your name?" The Doctor said to the Elite, pushing up his glasses. The man was old and kindly, face worn with years of wisdom and understanding, with happiness and sorrow and, somehow, calmness.

The Elite looked at the doctor with a rigid look on his face, showing no emotion. With almost frightening mono-tone, he spoke.

"GES-001. My given name is Daniel."

[Alexlantis]

"Well, Daniel, lie down on the couch. As for you, soldier, leave."
"Yes, sir." The soldier said, leaving.
"So, Daniel, how is it that you ended up in this sad little concrete fortress?"

[Unified Western States]

Daniel didn't lie down, he remained sitting, but did speak.

"I was ordered to execute Order 23A-1."

[Alexlantis]

"Hmm. And how does this make you feel? Do you have any regrets? Anyone you are angry at? Sad for?"

[Unified Western States]

Daniel looked at the doctor with the stoic face, devoid of emotions.

"I was given and order, which I carried out. Emotions have no part in military operations."
