Why spend trillions of dollars on a Wave Force Cannon when you can have at least a 20:1 ratio of Star Destroyers/Space Yamatos?

BTW: 2 miles is about two Super Star Destroyers. Just so you know.
No, it's not. An Executor-class Star Dreadnought is 19 kilometers long (Source: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Executor-class_Star_Dreadnought). 2 miles is the length of 2 Imperial-class Star Destroyers.

Here it has three options: Strangle the enemy, break the enemies neck, or perhaps most bizarrely, use its strong beak to break into the skull of the enemy and destroy the brain.

I would advise your soldier to be careful, as one false move could create a spark that would ignite the gas-bag of the space octopus wrapped around you face.
