Just quite busy in the last two days- I received my O Level results for Chinese, and I'm proud to say I've got a good A2. Surprising, considering how I've failed Chinese for the last four years of secondary school.

Well, after they invade and conquer half of the Second Republic, I doubt the Oog will be very happy with the Hunzoi.

By the way, TNF, I had a great idea. You know why the Jin Dynasty never invaded Southern China? The Yangtze. So I was thinking, maybe the Oog have something similar to the Yangtze or the Yellow, like a hyperspace/gravitational anomaly, except it's like a river, flowing from the center of the galaxy outwards. The Hunzoi would try to cross, and the Oog would finally be able to stop them, because the Hunzoi wouldn't be used to flying in hyperspace anomalies like this one, and the Oog would be, so they'd be able to defeat them. If that sounds okay to you.

Would anyone else want a hyperspace river?

Well, it wasn't just the Yangtze river (the Huai river was the first line, Yangtze the second), but the vastly different terrain of the south that was not conductive to horses. It was more mountainous, and worst of all it was swampy and filled with little rivers best suited for riverene combat and not horses like in the north. Furthermore, unlike poor Dali, the Southern Song had a massive technological, population, strategic and economical advantage to draw from in their fights.

Speaking of which, depending on how it goes, may you want to do a battle of Fei river? That battle was one of the most epic battles in all of history. Think the 300 Spartans, but only with zero environmental advantage- heck, they (the sourthern Jin) were the ones crossing the river, and the soldiers charged in hopes of dying with a bang. They ended up curbstomping the other army

My first guess would be the Yntinak. They're small, but highly technically advanced. Their technology alone will make them a tough egg to crack.
Then again, the Iberi are no pushovers either. High tech and a higher population...
Something tells me that the Shollog will also be on that list. F*cking robot lovers...
Then there's the Oog. Those slime have a higher population than I do. That's going to have to change.
But more than anyone else, the Choir Tenebris. I don't need to say anything about them or why. They're on the list and they know why...

Hmm, well the shollogs don't enjoy talking to humanoid races, partly because they find them much more brutish and brash, partly because humanoids are starfish aliens to starfish aliens. Shollogs are in a love hate relationship with the Oog, because the Oog help the Shollogs, but they also imperialized them.

Once the Space Yangtze is reached, the Hunzoi would likely only send native Oogish auxiliaries to attack beyond it. If that didn't work they'd get the Oog to agree to peace with the Yangtze being the official border. A 'I can't crush you without throwing myself over the edge and you won't have the strength to fight me' sort of treaty.

Afterwards, the Hunzoi Empire will likely resume trade with the Southern Oog.
