The 'Fist of Dawn' is a two metre long warhammer that contains a unique and powerful matter conversion field in its head, focused into a singularity on the end of a spike on one side. When it strikes something, it breaks the bonds between atoms and converts them to energy.

Since then, I have asked (twice now) for thoughts upon my population so I could officially set my military size and have received no response, until now. I am aware that population is very high and I set it thusly for two reasons. One, the Jakial are asexual and reproduce like crazy. Second, because of this, they for all practical purposes must constantly be at war; if not with outsiders, then they will dissolve into civil war.
If this number is simply too high to be acceptable, could we perhaps compromise on a lower one?

That's odd. Especially since bacteria reproduce via binary fission.

They're not the same thing, I know (not good at biology or genetics), but I think you knew what I meant. They reproduce by splitting after an interphase, rather than using egg and sperm cells.

I know. So if his race has specialized stem cells on reproductive members, they can perform mitosis individually until they build enough, and specialize, and create a new person, who then drops off and finishes growing.
