Not to mention, EMP isn't as effective against modern military equipment as you may think. Nonetheless semi-futuristic space equipment, where further EMP resistance is a must.

So there will be not much room for "Tens of Hundreds of small and large ships" or at all. Your quick arrival and your sudden deployment so close to my and possible Oale's forces may be deemed as threatening...

Also, I sent a message from the Landing Zone, if you think I'm near Cyningesport. Won't that tell I am good as well, if you think I'm inside the 7 mile radius?

1.They deploy EMP as a precaution.
2. The Soodeans nor Vivernians have not said that they have a new squadron incoming from above. Saying they are Frenkish is a mistake on my part, but they do look futuristic.
3. They deploy the drones as small missiles. Just like SAM missiles, but smaller. They are only a foot long, as well, so the Gates can fit them.

That's still too close for comfort and close proximity to my fleets and if you're backing up Southwood why have you landed at Cyningesport which is the furthest northern city? Why not Lundenwic?

2. Still, it seems firing on anything that enters a battlefield won't work out well at times. For all you know, it's a Soodean or some other faction moving to reinforce you. For image's sake, you have to make sure it's hostile before you start scattering drone hordes and EMPs.
3. Sounds more like a nuisance than an actual threat. If these drones are a foot long, the projectile can't be bigger than your average .50 cal round. It's destructive capabilities seem to be very limited.

Konoronia is landing at Lundenwic. You'll probably have to fight them.
