Story:
This thread begins with the dictatorial government of the Derman Isles defeated, and the RC and ADC victorius. They must now construct an entirely new government, democratic and stable, to govern the islands. However, many a terrorist lurk: Former regime elements, Communists, you name it! Now, the occupation begins...
Rules:
1. There will be no nation-on-nation warfare
2. If you want to RP a terrorist group, just TG me
3. I am Lolloh and the Government of the Republic of the Derman Isles
4. The usual stuff about playing fair, not godmodding, etc., we've all been through this drill before.
5. If you want to join the occupation force, you must first formally ask the Derman government for permission to cross onto their territory
6. You MUST RP logistical movements
7. I am supreme overlord: If you have a dispute, I am judge and jury.
8. Conventional weapons ONLY
9. If you're sending in a military force, keep in mind that the Derman Isles has 50 million people. As such, you should be sending several thousand men, not several million.
10. You will be fighting an insurgency, as well as vying for influence over the Derman Isles. Please keep this in mind when you burn down civilian huts. Oh, and did I mention I'll RP the people of the Derman Isles? I guess I just did.

"I, General Iopad, do hereby agree to uphold democracy and the rule of law in my nation, and will never exploit it for my will as President." With those words, General Iopad, Commander, Splenyu Regional Defense Force (SRDF), was sworn in as Interim President of the Derman Isles. He, along with another 7 generals, was sworn in to the Civilian National Advisory Council (CNAC), a form of executive office that would rule by decree. The plan would be to hold elections within one month, both for a 215-man unicameral Parliament, as well as the executive office of President, Prime Minister, Vice President, and Speaker of Parliament. However, making sure elections were stable would be difficult. With the dissolution of the armed forces, order had largely collapsed in the country of 50 million. Approximately 50.000 insurgents roamed freely, imposing whatever government they wanted.
The country had come out of totalitarian ruler for less than a month, and the government continued to be weak, unstable, and unable to reach a consensus. In order to break the impasse, Lollohian forces had resorted to sacking the CNAC four times in as many weeks. For that same month, Coalition forces continued to patrol the island, though to a very limited scope. Several of the seven islands in the chain had already fallen into anarchy: Warlords governing small towns brimming with AKs and other weapons left behind by government forces as they disintegrated.However,the nations of the world must now unite in order to save the Dermans from total chaos,and bring back democracy
OOC: Whether you like it or not, my force remains in control of Qwerty with almost 10,000 soldiers and I did not back down my protection of the area as an island fortress a bit. My force still stands there representing and training the island's Derman military forces and has been since the middle of the war while also supplying Splenyu with tons of items and, with such items, rejuvinating it's economy. If the area wasn't granted autonomy as a recognized Derman island due to the fact we can not take it under the rules of the Revival Coalition, we'd practically own the area as our own territory. It is under autonomous military protection and has a Derman protection and support force of about, due to the NS time, maybe 40,000 Qwertian Derman soldiers.
