"Operation Vendetta
In the middle of the night, and under close guard, new tank regiments arrived at a high-speed train station, near the border with Alahana. Alongside the UCPs, some other medium-sized vehicles were unloaded from the transport vagons. Tadmirtolian Army's plans were top secret. These objects were to remain a mistery for the next days.They were special unmanned minesweepers, as fast as tanks, yet capable to resist any modern methods of mining.
Clearly the front commander,General Valdemar from Einserdvan was planning an offensive operation. But to any onlooker, Tadmirtolian Forces all along the front seem only to be making defensive preparation. From the air, only movement away from the front could be detected.
Everything was built up to give the impression that the main front was being weakened and that the Tadmirtolian offensive is being prepared somwhere else, perhaps last-resort naval or air strike.
Operation Vendetta would be the largest and most thoroughly prepared Tadmirtolian operation of the war so far.
If the enemy discovered the preparations they immediately have reinforced the front. The forests and swamps presented enought dificulties. The special camouflage along with stealth equipment and tactics used by these armies were enough to mask the offensive preparation from the finest of the enemy sensors.
Our own Air Force would fly over the troops then immediately notice them to improve their camouflage where needed.
To keep the front supplied, every unit would receive 5 times its normal ammuntion storage and fuel, meaning that no less than 100 trains would have to arrive every day."
