Revolution in Deemos(MT-OPEN)

The people of the True Republic of Deemos have had enough of the persecution commited by the corrupted government. Slaves, citizens, and law enforcment alike have all gathered together to overthrow the corrupt warmongering dictator that claims to be a true democracy, but it instead is actually a corporate police state.

As of now, the rebels are small in numbers as the rest of the country has been indoctrinated by propaganda, but they refuse to allow the oppression that the dictator is forcing onto them.

The Commandant barged through the heavy doors leading to the conference room.
"ah! Commandant glad you could make it, if you would please sit down we will be starting soon." saluting to the Peresident he sat down and waited...

"Okay everyone, we are all present so let's begin the Staff meeting."
As the Peresident explained the situation the military staff listened and pondered the question this rebellion posed.
"I think we should support the rebels!" stated the Air Marshal, "You have a point, we have always stood for the freedom of people, no matter what country the come from." agreed the High Admiral, "What about you Robert? What do you think we should do?"
"hmm I'm a bit concerned about the logistics of the operation, we are already dealing with a uprising in Port Sig. The last thing we need is bad relations at home as well."
"We all share your veiw Commandant but this is a risk we MUST take if we are to show we are not a laughing stock of a nation!"
"Fine, I'll send Herr Field Marshal Charles and the 12th & 5th armies."
"I'll send the 9th Fleet."
"and I'll send the 3rd Air Force!"
"thank you for your support! I'm sure our help will be well recived."

The dictator of Deemos worried. He thought that his forces would not be enough. He needed to divise a plan to increase the military's power. He knew exactly what to do.

Three hours later, three bombers flew over the capitol dropping gas bombs on it. The gas killed hundreds and injured thousands. After the attack, Kultic made an appearence in the city. He gave a speech about the incident, and then statrted blaming.

"This was commited by none other than our own allies! They have always been jelous of our freedom and prosperity. They attacked us to get rid of it!" Kultic announced.

The indoctrinated people cheered in applause at the speech nearly all of them joined the army while those who doubted the story "disappeared".

Deemos
With the Ruolnik War reaching a lull, Lolloh had begun to switch its interests in favor of intervention against dictatorial nations. Deemos was a clear example. 200 LIS special commandos/agents were sent to the country, using fake IDs and native accents. Their goal: Overthrow the dictator, take control of the military, and then hold elections to put a pro-Socialist, pro-Lollohian regime into power.

President Gabriel Drake leaned back in his chair, pondering the new inelligence files he's recieved. Drake leans forward and presses the call button on his intercom. "Misty? Please contact and send in Commander Wolffe, General Ryan, General Dredd, Secretary Konrad, and Director North right away. I need to speak with them in a special meeting." She secretary outside of the President's office replied, "Yes, Mr. President, Sir." The secretary soon had called in the gorup of men and they filed into Drake's office one by one. General Steven Ryan, a friend of Drake's and a military advisor for the entire Region. General Robin Dredd, a large, impsoing black man who happens to be thecountry Commander-in-Chief, commander of the military. Secretary of Defense Luke Konrad, a shorter, tanned man who speaks the way it needs to be said. Director Ashton North, the director of the National Intelligence Agency, an intelligent, black-haired, thin man. And finally, the youngest of them all, Commander Brent Wolffe, leader of the Special force of the nation, the Remnant Rangers. All the men stood around the President's desk as he passed around copies of the intelligence report and brought up a map on his computer.

"This, men, is Deemos. Currently, it is being run by a dictatorship-style regime. They've killed and basically enslaved their citizens" Secretary Konrad looked up, "So? Gabriel, you know we only try to police within our own Region. This place is half a world away. I apologize, but, who cares?" The President looked at Konrad, and then all men in passing, "Well, Luke, for one, you know our nation's stance on governments who kill citizens. But that's not the point here. This government has used chemical weapons." All the men freeze for a second, taking this in. The young Commander looks at the President, "So, Sir, when do we go in?" The leader of the URA grins, "As soon as you can."

-------------- Hours later, outside of a transport plane---------------

CinC Dredd stands with Commander Wolffe and Director North, the two watching as soldiers pile on to the plane. North hands papers to the other two, "Alright, here's what we've been able to bring up on such short notice. Are you sure two battalions is all you need, guys?" Dredd and Wolffe smile, Dredd speaks first, for the both of them, "These are the 3rd and 4th battalion of the Remnant Rangers. They need nothing more than the weapons they carry with them." Dredd looks at Wolffe, "Now, son, you're sure you want me to go along instead of you? I didn't push too hard, did I?" Brent smiles, "No, Sir. I understand completely. Just make sure you return with them in one piece, General." The last ranger in the nearby plane, waves outside for them to hurry up, Dredd replies, "Well, I guess that's for me, see you this time tomorrow, boys." The Director shakes Dredd's hand as the Commander salutes his CinC. Commander-in-Chief General Robin Dredd climbs aboard the transport plane, the ramp raising behind him as th emultiple planes carrying the soldiers and equipment of the 3rd and 4th Ranger battalions fly off. Dredd leans back, all of them, including him, will need to parachute down into a low-population area to insert and then hook up with the local resistance. Dredd smiles as his eyes closed, thinking. About 2,000 of the country's best soldiers should really help even the odds.

Combatants: 3rd Ranger Battalion, 4th ranger Battalion
Armaments: Light-medium weapons, some crew-served weapons. No vehicles. No advanced technology. 4 drone: 2 Rhinos, 2 Mammoths, 3 sets of Overlord Tactical Awareness Systems, all outfitted with X-Com Comms systems.
Total number of soldiers: Approx. 2,000-2,100

The rebellion's numbers have grown to 1,000, but this still wasen't enough since they were poorly equipped since they had to scavange weapons. They attempted to fight the dictatorship with ambush attacks.

At night at a dock, a shipment of tank shells were being delivered to a southern outpost. There were only twenty gaurds total, but they were heavily armed with M60 machine guns and armor. A small tank also stood gaurd. The rebels planned out an attack by sneaking into the base and setting off makeshift C4(made by the law enforcment officers) inside the shipment. However they would need a distraction to even have a shot.

Meanwhile down south, the rebels set up an LZ for the American forces, but the Deemosian army was nearing them on a patrol.

The Rangers glided silently downward towards the ground, landing here and there over a fairly small area, General dredd landed with them, his old bones creaking and cracking at the strain. After all the soldiers had reported in, a couple with sprained ankles, all Robin had to do was find the leader of the nearby rebels. He knew this was where they were supposed to meet up.

"General, sir. Maybe They bailed on us?" A young corporal offered.

The general replied, "Bullshit, son. These men and women are standing against a larger an dsuperior force that won't hesitate to use weapons of mass destruction, as they've shown. These rebels won't back down from some real help. We can give thme a fighting chance, and we can train them with the skills they need. I'm happy we brought along an extra couple crates of assault rifles with ammo. We can give them to these resistance as a gift of good faith...." The general starts laughing quietly.

The corproal looks confused, "Sir? Are you alright?"

The general looks at the corporal, "Yes, I'm fine. I'm just rmemebering the last war Remnant boys went off to fight, off in Lilliput. And then we were fighting the 'terorists' trying to take over their country. Now we're helping a group liek them, and we call them 'resistance.' I just think it's funny how politics twist a war like that. Now, Corporal, let's go find us a resistance leader to contact."

LIS commandos had shown themselves. About 200 strong, they quickly assaulted the army headquarters, attempting to seize it and then issue orders to effectively cripple the Deemosian Army.

"No need." a young woman said.She wore a red mask and a kevlar vest. She appeared to be a young age, but it wasen't exact. "I'm Sally Sophia. I am the commander of the resbellion. We have to leave now. The patrol will be here any moment." she explained.

"Well, Ms. Sophia," Robin spoke, "it is nice to meet you. But, if it's just a patrol. I'm sure we can take them. What do they have, jeeps, troops, trucks?" General Dredd waves it off. "If you want that equipment just let my men set up." The general turns and starts giving orders, "I want 3rd Battalion, 2nd and 3rd Companies to get on either side of that road. The rest of you? Get back and hide. 1st Company? you standby for support, understood? Go!"

Sally grabbed the man's arm. "Don't engage. If you do, then Kultic will be able to further brainwash people by demonizing you. Don't let him have more power just yet." she implored. "Besides, we have bigger fish to fry. Our first hit will be big.".

"This is General Dredd, all units pull back and reform around the contingent of resistance." Robin looked at the young girl, "Well, missy, you leade the way. You've got about two-thousand Remannt men behind you." The general flashes a brilliant white smile.

"Thank you." Sally happily said. She took him to the rebel hideout, a small, run down farm. The fields were filled with rotting crops, the building had an eerie tone to it that implied a serial killer is lurking in the silo, which was boarded up with rottiing plywood. "It might not be much, but atleast it's secluded and we haven't been discovered yet." Sally informed Robin leading him into the building.

Inside, there were about twenty people all wearing blue masks. On their backs were sheaths with machetes in them. Some had a revolver.

Robin has his dual battalions spread out through the fields. He looks around the rebels and whistles. "You guys... You need some things. You seem lacking." He speaks into his comms unit. "Yeah, boys, bring the crates up. They need them." He looks back at Sophia, "Listen. I'm having ym boys bring up two crates, both are filled with assault rifles. 100 rifles to each crate. They are yours to use as you see fit." The soldiers come up to the building, carrying the crates, heaving under the weight. "There's also enough ammunition for each rifle to have 4 magazines of ammo. Go sparingly." Two soldiers pop open the crates, inside one are 100 R17 Assault Rifles(basically ACRs). Inside the other are the same amount of R18 Assault Rifles(FN SCARs).

Aerial Approach to Deemos
The convoy continued. Recently launched 400km out from the carrier LFS Sveltica, heading towards Deemos. With the Ruolnik War cooling down, the government had moved to overthrow the dictatorship, preparing a commando landing force, dubbed the 479th Airborne Reconnaissance Company, would begin an operation on the Deemosian government. However, the helicopters also carried 15 tanks and 60 APCs, followed up by 400 commandos. The total helicopter fleet consisted of 60 Chinook-framed Night Owl helicopters, escorted by 20 Apache-framed attack helicopters.

With another message ignored the troops were notified and sent to Deemos: 1 elite division (10,000 men armed with M-4 assault rifles, 10 tanks, and some artillery pieces) along with 5 F-22 raptors and several chinooks went total and would be there soon:

Halo squadron leader, Robert Magda, radioed in to the rebel commander: "This is Halo squad leader requesting permission to enter allied airspace, also is there a place for us to land? Over."

Sophia took off her mask to better inspect the weapons. She smooth mocha colored skin with short brown hair and blue eyes. She picked up an R18 and cocked it. "Good recoil, nice calibers, quick reload speed...all it needs is an ACOG scope and it'll be perfect! she gloated. "Dive in boys!" she told her soldiers. They swarmed over the weapons like trained wilderbeasts, and it was just strange how the tackled the crates.

"Anyway, there's a stronghold several thousand miles south in the deep south. if we can capture it, the city of Delso will be practicly defensless." she explained to Robin.
