Upon pressing play, you see images of men and women, wearing drab fatigues and carrying weapons. They are moving through the countryside, sitting in camps, talking to locals. At other times, they are fighting, firing from sniper's nests, placing boobytraps and ambushing convoys.
In broken English, a man's voice begins to speak.

My name is Manuel Romero Aguirre, and I am leading my people out of slavery.
Ten years ago a man calling himself Armando Benitez came to power in this country. He is a tyrant. He takes the tax money for himself, for his lavish mansions and cars, while the people starve. He has sent his soldiers to bully and murder the indigenous peoples of the land. He has suspended elections, civil rights -- he has instituted martial law in the cities. He is a dictator.
For so long I allowed this man to take away my rights. I was convinced it was for the greater good, that we were being made safer by the many police and the stricter laws. But then his thugs killed my daughter. They killed her as she was protesting an unjust law. They shot into the crowd and killed twenty-four people. She was only 15 years old -- a child. What kind of government must kill a child to stay in power?
So I am finally standing up to the madness. I have formed the PFAR, the Popular Front for Aranciagan Resistance. We are not terrorists. We are fighting for our rights and dignity as human beings, we are fighting against government terrorism and brutality. We have fled into the countryside with our families and have set up our own villages, our own governments, away from the iron fist of Benitez.
We have killed soldiers, police, yes. Sometimes we have killed many of them at a time. We do not regret these acts of violence. They are acts of self-defence. They are a necessary evil until the fascists have been removed from power and the people's voice may be heard once again. We have our own fair justice system and we give legitimate trials to all of the enemy that we capture alive. We hold many prisoners. We wish to see them returned to their families when this conflict is over.
But this conflict is far from over. The soldiers of Benitez are many and they come well-armed by foreign nations like yours. We have lost many brave men and women because we did not have the weapons or ammunitions needed to defend themselves. Many flock to our cause each day and we have long since run out of weapons to arm them with.
We are in need of arms, ammunition, food, money, medical supplies... anything you can spare. We plead to you. I plead to you.
I do not know if you will support our cause or not, but I know one thing: either you support freedom, or you do not.
Either you support tyranny, or you do not.
It is your choice.
God be with you.
The tape ends.
