The King steps down!
King Phillip Bethelwood has today decided to abdicate because his worsening condition , and due to his lack of living heirs he has decided the current Prime Minister- Clint Mcgraw, shall take his place as President of the Kokoweef Confederacy.
Reactions to this have been mixed throughout the country, especially in the heavily Royalist regions, But the staff here at The Lone Star wish to offer our heartiest congratulations to President McGraw and hope him all the best for the future.

"Your Highness, I thank you for seeing my potential to lead this country into greatness.I will do my best in your stead."
Mcgraw knelt before King Bethelwood and bowed his head before standing up and facing him.)
Bethelwood eyed him before taking a deep breath from his Oxygen mask.
He blinked twice and began to speak.
"Clint.Since I won't be alive much longer, I had to make you President.But you won't be President forever. The opposition against you will mount in my abscence, but I have faith in you.You can lead this country."
Bethelwood smiles and nods to Clint.
"Thank you your Highness.I wish you well."
The Kings nurse walks into the room and wheels him away to his Bedroom.
"God, he looks terrible." Clint thought, shaking his head.
Mcgraw puts on his Fedora and walks out of the Palace.
