Verbluffen, along with fellow NationState Philomachus , has brought forth an institution known as the Pagophagic Powers. There is no official purpose for the Pagophagic Powers as of now, the founders are still working on that part.

Philomachus, along with fellow NationState Verbluffen, has brought forth an institution known as the Pagophagic Powers. Under the Pagophagic Powers, the member nations promise to protect each other with undying loyalty. We stand firmly against the nations who abuse their power, & we have sworn to protect our allies... no matter what the circumstances.
It all started in the middle of a school day. Classes were boring as usual, and Philomachus needed an escape route. Fortunately for him, he was able to find fellow NationState Verbluffen on the Regional Board. Verbluffen, too, was escaping his classes via NationStates. We chatted for a while, when we realized something needed to be done. We were both weak nations, with absolutely no allies to save us if a situation occurred. We convened on this, & out came a wonderful idea: Why not set up a coalition of NationStates to protect each other? Immediately, Philomachus ran across the classroom to grab a dictionary. With this tool, he was able to establish a name for this alliance: the Pagophagic Powers. The Pagophagic Powers was an immediate success, & the two nations finally had some form of protection.
Philomachus & Verbluffen went on as the sole members of the Pagophagic Powers, trading knowledge, endorsements, & absolutely horrible jokes. But soon they realized that two wouldn't be enough to support the alliance, not in such a large world. So Verbluffen made the call out to the Ten Thousand Islands, asking for supporters for our great brainchild. Immediately, a long time supporter of Philomachus, the Republic of Lirba, asked for admittance to the Pagophagic Powers. Shortly afterwards, the Twisted Dimension also put in a request for an alliance. Both members were accepted with open arms. The Pagophagic Powers had extended its membership to four, unique nations... nations that would protect each other to the bitter end.
The Pagophagic Powers, at this point in time, is still searching for more allies. If you feel that you can devote yourself to protecting your friends, even as the same is done for you, feel free to telegram either Philomachus or Verbluffen with your request to join us in the Pagophagic Powers. As of today, the members of the Pagophagic Powers are: Verbluffen, Philomachus, Lirba, Twisted Dimension. Whether or not you decide to join us, we wish your nation the best of good fortunes. May the Pagophagic Powers ever endure!
